If the FBI Spy Turns Out to Actually Be a CIA Spy, are the Enemy of the People Media Going to Keep Denying She's a Spy?

Sounds to me as if, as has already been suggested by some, that the spy run against Papadopolous was CIA and not FBI.

John Brennan -- do you have a lawyer?

44 The CIA and the FBI had to create justifications for the illegal spying they were doing. That was the "insurance policy" -- the post hoc justification for illegal political spying. CIA used operatives (including those of foreign governments (UK/Australia) to create a "Russian collusion" justification for their spying. FBI used the Steele Dossier to commit fraud on the FISA court to justify its spying.

Bob Hoskins played Beria in the movie "The Inner Circle". If he was half as rotten in real life as he was portrayed I'm not sure a suitable torture exists short of burning him alive.

This was bound to happen after W. and other "conservatives" decided that the CIA had been too constrained pre-9/11. Doesn't mean heads shouldn't roll, but the agency was walled off from the FBI and domestic affairs for very good reasons.

"Was the policy coordinated through Defence?"
"007 policy only goes through GCHQ and MI6. Scotland Yard gets a vote on the committee."

There is no reason not to hate them. It sucks when one of them is personally known to you as family or quasi-friend or neighbor. I think the most objective rule of thumb to judge a Dimocrat/Liberal is this:

1. Would they fight tooth and nail to keep you from being loaded onto a train for a concentration camp, up to and including hiding you from the authorities?
2. Would they just idly observe you being loaded onto the cattle car?
3. Would they cheer at your fate?

#1 is still human and not worthy of hate. Unfortunately, the vast majority of Dim/Liberals fall into categories 2 and 3.

I know I know ... so many say that is impossible ... but at least for many of them, they had links to Iran and funding terror groups, and selling uranium assets to Russkies, no small deal. Sen. 229 I missed the last thread, but the reason Mueller (actually Weissman was running the show, probably from the start) didn't say there was no collusion earlier is that most of the investigation was organized around trying to get Trump to react and "obstruct." The legal theory Weissman used in Enron was that you can "obstruct" in defending yourself or going about normal business if it "interferes" in potential future investigations. The SCOTUS shat on that 9-0 but he wasn't going to court, he was going to congress.

That's why Weissman (don't think Mueller is much in this at all, it's all Hillary's pal Weissman, not that they aren't all mobbed up) was upset that Barr (who we know reject that crap legal theory) didn't let them leak out the narrative they'd prepared as he hunted for grand jury stuff in the report, grand jury stuff they were supposed to have identified.

Weissman and Mueller purposefully didn't identify the grand jury stuff so it would take barr a while to find it so they could leak their 10 instances of obstruction. Barr came right out and said no collusion, no obstruction and fucked up their plans.

Won't Brennan just claim they did that to determine whether the "leads" they had that Trump was "colluding" with Russia were true?

Thinking it through, I guess that excuse would fall apart after the 2 or 3rd attempt to get Papadopolous to say they had info from or working with Russia, Russia Russia when he kept denying it Unless Brennan just says that they had reason to suspect Papa. was lying and they were following up?

Which concern was, again IIRC and as far as is known, was noted and ignored.

An enormous deal. A ginormous deal. Evidence of foreign exploitation of an Espionage Act violation ..... actually systematic massive violation by dozens, for years on end - yep, that will be pretty hard to wave away.

It's amazing Nanzi is outright accusing Barr of lying. That is so easily tested/debunked. It's times like these - chaos, uncertain direction - that they bumble about and make a bunch of unforced errors. Mueller went pretty far out of his way to help the FBI cover up some of their agents' involvement in murders and to keep innocent men in jail. Those are not the actions of a man of character who is going to step in and do the right thing.

Coincidentally, one of the criminals they were covering for got whacked in prison just a few months ago.

422 you know, the other thing is that they tried to use the same thing for two different reasons.

their initial plan was to use the gov to spy on Trump so hillary would win. that was ok since they were in control of the government and its levers.

however, then they sought to use the same plan to get Trump out of office when they no longer controlled the levers. they had their deep state allies and mueller, but that was not enough to do more than thwart Trump, they could no longer protect even pardon their own or intimidate the others.

you know, had they stopped when hillary lost they would have been much smarter.

Had they backed off right after the election they would have saved themselves.

"They" are not only the deep state but also the media. Look at all of their reputations, in the toilet.

So what do they do now that they have been thoroughly exposed? They are threatening to destroy anyone who takes any position offered or nominated by Trump.

1. Would they fight tooth and nail to keep you from being loaded
onto a train for a concentration camp, up to and including hiding you
from the authorities?

2. Would they just idly observe you being loaded onto the cattle car?

3. Would they cheer at your fate?

#1 is still human and not worthy of hate. Unfortunately, the vast majority of Dim/Liberals fall into categories 2 and 3.

However, his second term, and he was determined, was a mandate to take apart the centralized bureaucracy. Neither Party would have any of that.
