The Seftonless Morning Report (Friday April 26, 2019)

585b239c7037a.jpg

Good morning Horde. Mr. Morning Report is off on special assignment. Rumor has it that the AoSHQ Dental Plan is alive and well in Juarez, Mexico.

***

  • More text messages between the FBI's Peter Strzok and Lisa Page are released. Subject? Spy recruitment for the White House.

  • Another day. Another gaffe by AOC. She's the gift that keeps giving.

  • Never mind the guard dog when you have a guard parrot.

  • It was only a matter of time, The CIA now has an Instagram account. If I say how retarded will I get banned before I join?

  • You can thank the anti-vaxxer movement and illegal aliens pouring into our country.
Are you 29 or older? You may need another measles booster shot.

  • She is a vile and despicable human being. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) endears herself to doctors and nurses with hateful accusations.

  • One of America's favorite treats isn't looking too good at the moment. I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream and we may scream after eating it. Listeria on the horizon.

  • You might be able to keep your doctor. But you won't be able to keep your health insurance due to Obamacare.

  • But. But. But. But. Things were different then than now. And I'm a better millionaire than the people I was referring to mutters Sen. Bernie Sanders (Communist-Vermont)

  • NBA star John Havlicek of the Boston Celtics passes away at age 79.

  • Will the Inbred Virtue Signalers Royal Family console and meet with the Sri Lanka Easter bombing victims? Time will tell.

  • Former tiger trainer is attacked by.........drum roll please, a tiger.

  • Will the "History Police" be consistent? Why just remove Kate Smith's statue when we can take back awards earned by Cassius Clay Mohamed Ali.

  • The paste eating Joe Biden has entered the presidential race. He also has the lead, for the time being.
  • Speaking of having the lead. Biden also has the Creepy Porn Lawyer vote.

  • Politics does indeed make strange bedfellows.

Today's feel good story of the day? "Then I seen a young man at the door, struggling to get out, and he was being shot at quite a few times.”

  • New York's mayor has another goofy idea. Let's ban hot dogs and other processed meats.

  • ICYMI President Trump was on the phone with Sean Hannity last night.

  • With Republicans like these who needs Democrats?

  • "They" say that voter fraud is a myth. If it were why has the mayor Edinburg, TX and his wife been arrested?

  • How involved was the Obama Administration with Russia in the 2016 election? Little by little information is forthcoming and it isn't looking good for the JEF.

  • Lucidity is overrated. And Baltimore remains a joke.

  • As Ace would say, "LOL get fucked" Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-SomaliaMN) was so butt hurt by PDT she went crying to @Jack

  • What won't California tax?

  • Brazil has a penis amputation problem. Things you learn here.

  • Memorable? Sure, if you are a Genius Award Winner.

And on that note, let's take on Friday.

37 More Noos: On this day in 1986 the Chernobyl Nuclear accident occurred. Operators here in the West have studied that accident to death. We were supposed to apply 'lessons learned'. The biggest lesson I learned was don't let the government who licenses Nuclear Power plants also operate them. I have actually talked to the operators of that plant. One of the things they said was they were screaming at the bosses (gov) that what they were doing was against procedures and was unsafe. They were ignored.

And here's the thing, even after we do the adjustments for income, for education, this is true across the board. This is true for well-educated African American women, for wealthy African American women, and the best studies that I'm seeing put it down to just one thing, prejudice.

Is that a good idea having Weiner so close to her campaign?" And then something about it being a bad idea having Weiner close to classified infor.

First, it was hilarious to see Trump so casually talk about Hillary in a way that NO ONE in DC ever did publicly - the GOP is always at pains to pretend to respect her and then use euphemisms like "misspoke" instead of lies, etc.

Second, because he totally nailed it with the Weiner assessment, that he was a danger to classified info.

To me, that indicated Trump gets a good read on people and situations.

De Blasio did note, while signing the GND, that New Yorkers should be prepared to make big sacrifices in order to save the planet, however. And if the current legislative scheme isn't enough to reduce carbon emissions in the city, he may consider expanding the program's ban.

I took a quick look at some studies. Black women do have 3-4 times greater chance of maternal mortality but...

That death rate includes every one who dies while pregnant, while giving birth and within up to one year after birth

There Is no requirement the death be caused by the pregnancy or birth to be counted

The biggest categories of death seem to be unrelated or not known causes

Only a few (fewer than 5) out of 100,000 deaths Happen during or right after birth.

These are generally tied to poor maternal health and certain weight related and similar conditions like obesity and diabetes.

There is not a separate category for Gosnell patients and the like.

Since the study probably includes the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrant births by woman who may have just snuck in weeks or days before and had no prenatal care, I dont think this can be used to show anything significant about us medical care.

That has been happening for years. Hillshire farms beef sausage used to come in a 16oz package. The lowered it to 14 ounces 5 or so years and and now it comes in a 12 oz package. The price keeps going up too.

Walmart pulls that scam all of the time. They raise the price on something for a few months and then they put a big "rollback" sign on it and bump it back down to the original price.

He said this around the time of the Boston Marathon, where there is still all sorts of local news coverage about people affected by the bombs. There's fundraising in the name of the youngest victim, Martin Richard, there's stories about people injured in the attack taking up running and/or returning to the race after a long recovery, and so on.

Maybe the MSM has long forgotten the attack, but it is very much still discussed in MA. Add to it that the Sri Lanka bombings happened shortly after Bernie's remarking, again reminding people that Bernie sides with terrorists.

The one time he fucked up and said he opposed the Surge even after seeing its success, the MFM had to go in full cleanup mode.

Kabbalah thinks those rules don't apply to her, I guess, because her ignorance should be obvious to everyone.

I think that 2020 was Bernie's campaign to lose - and he has done so. Bernie was the #2 finisher in 2016 primary - he stuck it out to the end, and had his own energized following. I never thought he could beat Hillary, with the way the election was structured (I won't use the word "rigged" but it was). But he was a lot more competitive against her than one would expect an old weird guy who wasn't even a member of the Democrat party before he ran should have been. And he is winning the money primary right now - I expect that to change.

Biden hasn't run for President since 2008 - he has to rebuild a national machine. Sure, he can lean on the Obama machine, but that has already been picked apart by the large field that came before him. Biden was never that popular with Dems - he dropped out after finishing 5th in Iowa - behind BILL RICHARDSON.

Yeah, Biden was VP for 8 years under Obama, which gives him name recognition (which is valuable) but he still isn't all that popular - not even with Obama! His decision to begin his campaign as some sort of reaction to "Charlottesville" won't play, and no way he can avoid the siren call of the Leftist stuff. Think Biden will take a bold stand and say that we shouldn't let prisoners vote? Or that we shouldn't forgive all those student loans? Or we shouldn't pay reparations for slavery? Biden is not bold - he is not bold enough to be "moderate."

Mine is similar. It was when the media was in a frenzy to bring Trump down about the birther stuff and Trump announced a press conference. They were in a frenzy to ask him questions. All the cable channels were covering it. Goes to the mic, makes some general announcements about the campaign, then makes a grand announcement that's he's opening a new hotel. Then walks off the stage.
