IRS Analyst Charged for the Criminal Leaking of Michael Cohen's Financial Records to Michael Avenatti, Ronan Farrow

There is no Deep State.

In pages of 7-8 of the criminal complaint, it notes that the analyst, John Fry, leaked to the man who wrote this article, who they call "Reporter 1," but the article is bylined by Ronan Farrow.

For some reason, CNN isn't reporting John Fry's name:

Even the stars of shows such as HGTV get at most, $10,000 an episode. And the network will order maybe ten episodes. So, $100,000 grand, minus taxes, and agents fees.

Same with the number floating around that Kaepernick received $80M from the NFL. Considering there is a NDA in place , no one knows what he got, but I highly doubt the NFL settled with him for more money than most of it's most valuable stars are getting. Or that the NFL's insurance company agreed to settle for such a number. I don't know what it is, but I would not be surprised to find out it's maybe $1-2 M will is still more than the $1 bill they should have mailed him.

That was all changed in 1984 with FERS. Federal Civilians no longer receive those lavish pensions that they used to get.

They have to contribute to Social Security now and their pension calculations are about 1/3-1/4 of what they used to be.

And Federal civilians do have 401k's. That system is called TSP and it is portable and can be converted into a regular 401k when you separate from Federal service.

As noted above, I have fired multiple Federal Civilians. It is not impossible to do. You just literally have to be an a$$hole and make sure your paperwork is 100% correct.

I had one 20+ year employee who continuously came to work late. I would send her an email every day that she was late saying "You were XX minutes late to work this morning. As we have discussed numerous times you need to be at your desk working at your designated starting time. I am coding that XX minutes you were late as AWOL and you will not be paid for that time, any further infractions will be coded the same." she was fired in just a few months.

Give 50 or more of those emails with read receipts to HR and that employee will be gone in six months.

It is neither impossible nor especially difficult to fire a Federal employee. All it requires is documentation. A paper trail. Most managers dislike writing (or are incapable of forming a complete sentence) and so fail to keep records.
Believe me, I've seen enough of 'em walked out to know it's easier than most people think.

360 I'm sure most people here also had their Greek burger joint in their town. Ours in Lake Charles LA was called Mary Ann's and it was just like the SNL skit except a black lady took your order without writing it down and screamed it to the Greek Owner/ Cook. Fantastic and always packed.

374 Quint, that's amazing. Been to Parker's twice.
Second time, the boss had the fried chicken (I stuck with the pork).

So true. I love that place. It old school North Carolina, in tobacco country. The chicken is legit. I never wanted to try it too because it is a bbq joint.

Usually expensive for fried chicken but also usually excellent.
