Yes they did that on the 17th while I was on Intellicast. I thought my computer had been breached by a virus. In fact I got a warning from my software.
I used to use WU until they redid their format and went to shit. That was why I went to Intellicast in the first place. Now they are both screwed up.
But you can still get to your local weather in the original intellicast format by waiting until the WU page fully loads and scrolling down to "nearby weather stations" links.

I looked at Darksky. Didn't like their format either. And as much as I hate TWC since they went over to the darkside on the AGW scam, their actual local weather predictions and "current weather" are top notch. And if you want to wallow in their AGW scam you can delve into their back pages for that.
So if I am looking for near and long term weather I go to them. And especially if I want the hourly predictions for 24 hours.

used this for years. Both Bushes, Reagan, Nixon. (I don't recall cases for Ford, but that just may be poor memory. But mostly they just mocked Ford; I think they may have been tired after their great triumph.)
The trick is that it isn't needed that anything actually hold up. They just create this mass of allegations and use that mass as background for whatever they're pushing today.
Then they fire up another standard ploy. The "many say" (= "we say").
On the bright side, when it doesn't work, it drives them crazy.

Pelosi thought she could go outside the standard tactics with the shutdown without Trump responding in kind. He will match her every move and do it with the kind of finesse we saw a few days ago (not just cancelled, but telling them while they're in a moving bus).
Also think Nancy is used to doing all of this stuff behind closed doors. Trump fights out in the open; he wants the cameras rolling, he revels in broadcasting his insults on twitter. She and Schumer have got their hands full with this one.

yes, the feds would have to dole out that much (I read $26, not $36.. but whatever)
But they did not factor in the amount paid IN in taxes by those DACA's.
There is actually a net gain by allowing them in..

I've been thinking about this for a while - which is the hot-button that leads to a 'hot' civil war? It can't be a bunch of different things, there has to be a single, polarizing concept. The border may be it. I never thought the Dem leadership would dig in like this, but that's what they're doing.

I don't know, either, but I'm not the one asserting that they're productive and educated. I suspect many live on bogus public assistance and aren't at all upwardly mobile.
Sure, the left showcases success stories, but how many of those are real? Remember AOC claimed to be from the "hood" or whatever, but grew up in a small mansion from affluent parents.
Sorry to be caustic, but I've seen so much garbage about how these people are net economic gains and yet the communities where they congregate always end up distressed. The classrooms are overcrowded and police and emergency services are overwhelmed while the tax base don't grow by a penny because they don't own land and live in the shadow economy.
So I'd like some solid numbers - that don't come from the Chamber of Commerce, by the way - before I accept this premise.

The Wall is a physical barrier that can't be waved away by the next Dim President.
The Democrats would actually have to take physical photograph-able action to tear down the Wall and leave America defenseless at the border.
This is why they fight the Wall so hard.
As we've seen with Pelosi and previously Obama, they like to operate in the dark where they don't have to show their actions.
An example would be the disastrous ROE change that Obama implemented.
The direct effect was to get more US soldiers killed and make the fighting more "fair" for jihadists.
Did that new ROE help our soldiers? No. Did it help the mission? No. Did it help the jihadists at the expense of our soldiers' lives and bodies? Yep.
The Wall or more correctly the Lack of Wall is exactly like this.
All the drones, the monitors, the Border Patrols can be waved away with a word or buried in some bill.

I'm getting a sense from his writing that despite that overwhelming female to male ratio, he didn't get much out of it.
It is a scientific fact that liberal girls (particularly in college) find conservative men fascinating. With the proper swagger and attitude, the guy could have been a Casanova. During my misspent youth, I studied this phenomenon in depth (so to speak).
At any rate, he's always come across as a "try-to-hard" kind of guy and now he's losing his grip. He was supposed to be the hip, cool kid at NRO and now he's got a middle-aged homely wife and yelling at everyone to get off his lawn.
I'm not saying everyone here at AoSHQ is completely squared away, but we are comfortable in our own skins and able to give and take reasonably well.

Considering that the cost/chalupa in the government schools is $15k/yr I seriously doubt it.
Many of these immigrants breed like guppies so three or four times that is expected.
Then you have WIC, free medical, free community/city/county/region/state/federal services recevied (you think having an EMT on standby costs nothing?)
Of course the quality of life for EVERYONE goes down in the form of disease, crime, traffic, utilities (remember they get the benefit of all "affordable housing" initiatives), culture, language, etc.
It costs more than money to maintain a functional, modern economy and first world culture.

Starts off like the best thing M. Night Shyamalan ever directed. Very crisp, very sharp script. Nice acting. Great directing.
Then as it seems to be comfortably fitting into the superhero mode of escalating battles between SH and SV-
MNS short-circuits the whole thing and takes it in a different direction.
How you respond to this short-circuiting will determine whether you like the movie or not.
I suspect that there'll be a 50/50 love/hate response from the audience.
Clearly, MNS has been thinking a lot about society lately and wants "Glass" to be as intellectual as it is visceral. This movie has a lot, a lot going on underneath it.
The final twist(Hey! It's MNS. You knew this was coming.) and the way it's motivation makes me think MNS is a conservative or at least leans in that direction as a classical-style liberal.
I'm trying to be vague here - so nothing to spoil your experience.
Try to read as little as possible before you go.
I liked "Glass" quite a bit but didn't love it. I suppose I admired it's ambitions and construction more than its....uh, let's just say overall story.
Weird sideways semi-sequel possible, but not mandatory depending on how well "Glass" does at the box office, I suppose.
