You Know BuzzFeed's "HUGE SCOOP" That NeverTrumpers Like John Podhoretz Spent All Day Jacking Themselves Off To? Mueller's Office Has Made the "Rare" Move of Specifically Denying That Report

If you were wondering why I didn't mention the story, even to do what Nice Deb and some honorable others did, which is to point all the ways in which this "story" seemed like bullshit from the start, it's because almost all of these bullshit stories turn out to be bullshit, and they will be exposed as false within 24 hours.

And I refuse to waste my time, or more importantly your time. (Oh, why am I lying? I was honest the first time: most importantly, I don't want to waste my time.)

It's been about 379 times that "The Walls Are Closing In on Trump" and "If this is true, it's all over for Trump."

Even a former hardcore NeverTrumper wrote to me today pointing out all the typical pussies and dimwits who claim they're Totally Totally Immune to Conspiracy Theories but spend all day pushing the left wing's favorite conspiracy theory, one written by Hillary Clinton's Chief Conspiracy Theory Architect, Syd Blumenthal.

And I'm not just saying that -- reports from the Clinton years noted that Syd Blumenthal rose as a courtier because he knew how to appeal to Hillary Clinton's self-justifying, self-pitying persecution complex, by dreaming up conspiracy theories for her to believe in. He invented the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, after all.

He also wrote the first drafts of what we now call the "Steele Dossier," though Steele seems to just have mostly rewritten Blumenthal's original reports and slapped his name on top of them to give them the veneer of credibility. (Or, at least: the veneer of having not been written by Syd Blumnethal.)

Other reports were written by Cody Shearer -- and take a gander at the sorts of "sources" he pushed into the media in the past.

But NeverTrump, which claims to be "The Intellectual Wing of the Conservative Movement," can't help falling every time for conspiracy theories that would have made Richard Mellon Scaife blush in embarrassment.

It amuses me -- astounds me, really -- that people who pat themselves on the back so vigorously for being about the conspiracy theories of Alex Jones (and call for him to be deplatformed to engage in what turns out to be an actual thoughtcrime) are so eager to promulgate the conspiracy theories that flatter their egos and their sense of the world.

So anyway: The BuzzFeed story about Michael Cohen claiming that Trump told him to lie about a building project in Russia (which is weird, because Don Jr. testified about two such projects in congressional testimony, so why direct a shyster to lie?) is total bullshit.

Please go out there and congratulate John Podhoretz and the translucent soybag Alex Griswold for being So Super Smart to fall for yet another leftwing/NeverTrump fake-news con yet again.

BTW: "The Intellectual Wing of the Conservative Movement" doesn't seem all that smart, really. They seem to have failed to notice that one of the two "reporters" on this story is an old left-wing fever-swamp favorite, Jason Leopold, who claimed he had it locked-down solid and double-checked that Karl Rove had been secretly indicted in the Valerie Plame non-matter.

So now he's once again pandering to his fever swamp base once again and promising a Very Merry Early Fitzmas.

And of course the Intellectual Wing of the Conservative Movement falls for it just like the fever-swamp left-wing does.

But don't draw any conclusions from that! Just because they constantly cite the left wing, defend the left wing, repeat the left wing's talking points, drink with the left wing, go on the left wing's TV shows... don't you dare suggest that they might have something ideologically in common with the left wing!

They're just smarter than you -- and as their left wing palz say, "Reality has a liberal bias."

Bonus: Let it be known to all cucks -- White Knighting for the left wing damsels and mansels won't stop you from being smeared as "alt-right."

This morning, CNN co-opted and tried to pass on as its own a BuzzFeed story which was produced by a failed and frequently fired 'journalist' and basically accused President Trump of committing a federal crime.

This afternoon, when the story was discredited and proven false by Special Counsel Robert Mueller's office, CNN jumped ship-- and quickly handed the flawed story back to Buzzfeed.

As they say, victory has a thousand fathers but defeat is an orphan.

And in this case, it's deja vu. The same thing happened in 2017, when CNN relayed the bogus story and Trump allegedly hiring Russian prostitutes. CNN retracted that story too. And where did that story come from? Buzzfeed.

120 I figure a lot of the stuff coming out that seems odd to be coming out now and from the DNCNews is it's part of a deal the OSC made with Trump.

If the Dems had taken the House AND the Senate then Trump was going to get impeached and Mueller was fine.

If the Reps kept the House AND the Senate, Mueller was going to keep scraping away until the elections started and drop everything into the mix by july or august after the conventions but before the deadline.

Since it was a split decision, Mueller is going to spill stuff that will allow Trump to say he's innocent yet may get impeached by the House but the Senate will vote it down. And they'll keep enough stuff back to protect those that participated in the attempted coup (including Mueller) and no charges for them.

This is also probably why Trump nominated Mueller's buddy for AG. We knew Sessionzzzz was going but Rothstein was fine. Better than we thought now more truth is out. So why change AG's with the OSC still activated. It's to help Mueller cover everyone and make sure Trump keeps to the deal.

The breaker will be if anyone tries anything really nasty then Trump may start erasing redactions on a lot of material using friends of Mulvaney.

Shorter: Mueller et al get off. Trump is pronounced unindictable so he can claim exoneration with enough stuff hidden to trash him before 2020. This deal was struck just before the midterms and now the payoff begins.

I am partially handicapped, with limited mobility and only 25% use of my strong right arm. Up until June, I was still able to drive for Uber, and did so for over a year. I was deactivated as a driver at that time.

My only family is a brother who I was helping financially while working. My "friends", I found, consisted of those from a marriage of 17 years which ended three years ago. I have been turned down for welfare benefits because, as reported, I made too much money this last year to qualify. I applied for SSDI, and am awaiting their first denial, as I'm told this is their standard practice.

While working, I had built up a small reserve of money, one that was used up recently to pay an oral surgeon to treat a badly abscessed tooth.

I have been everywhere in applying for jobs, and in the past 6 months have only gotten 3 days of good freelance work, and 5 days of temp work. I will find something, as failure is not an option. In the meantime, I am looking at homelessness very soon. This is the reason for my request. Anything you could do would be greatly appreciated.

I usually use the 1911 for these. *Finally* took a crowbar, opened my wallet, and bought enough Wilson Combat mags that I shouldn't have any feeding issues (use a mix of GI surplus and Brownell's house mags, always at least one snag, usually on my best stage, of course). Brownell's had 'em for about $24 for a while (47D model).

Little known, but in the previous House there was a still-born (never left committee) bill to finally start the process of removing/limiting jurisdiction in some areas for some courts. The inertia, the legal cult mindset that indulges infinite lawlessness by courts, and the fact that the authoritarians have staked all on using that branch to rule over Americans and their elected branches, all mean that some personnel changes are marginal, not central - in the medium term.
