Gillette: The Best a Cuck Can Get

The Gillette attack on men, in order to appeal to women who don't buy their overpriced face-razors and soyboys who either don't have facial hair or let it grow out into ironic parody beards, is backfiring, because of course it is. Get woke, go broke.

Gillette is being attacked and trolled mercilessly in the comments to its video, and commenters are saying that Gillette is deleting comments as quickly as they're put up.

Because they're deleting comments, I can't guarantee that the below comment, and Gillette's gratitude for it, is/was real, or if it was spoofed.

But there were a lot of cuck comments that I saw (before they were deleted).

So it's possible that Gillette favorited this reply until someone explained to them that this is in fact an insult.

GilletteCuck.png

Here's another screencap, with more replies:

GilletteCuck2.png

Another comment I saw said something like: "I loved this campaign, but you've lost one customer -- my wife's boyfriend was offended by the ad and said he'll never buy Gillette again."

One thing that keeps getting posted in the comments a lot is a list of Procter & Gamble's other products in desperate need of economic punishment, which include Joy, Mr. Clean, Swiffer, Brawn, Dawn, Fabreze, Gain, Panteen, Head & Shoulders, Always, Tampax, Bounty, Tide and a bunch of other easily, easily boycotted products, easily substituted with another company's almost-exactly-the-same products.

Another claim that keeps coming up: Procter & Gamble's alleged use of underage workers and abusive work conditions in its overseas plants. I don't know if that charge is fair or not, but I'm also not sure if it's fair to claim that men are all abusers and rapists.

I certainly wouldn't recommend that you troll and downvote this video -- as conservatives, we must support and promote Corporate Interests as if they are the living embodiment of God Almighty Ximself (some cucks tell me so, at least) -- but if you do, please report your troll comments so that I can pass them on to The Bulwark so that they may scold you for not being True Corporate Cuckservatives.

4 Looking at straight razors.

One thing I didn't know, the edge can be too sharp, at least for shaving. A stone is used now and then, and a leather strop.

F Gillette. Wankers.

WRT your earlier comment, long ago our pediatrician said a cool mist humidifier, not a warm mist one, so I've stuck with that, successfully.

And having the heat on draws the humidity from the air. If you have wooden doors or floors you can see the shrinkage sometimes. I can feel the dry air in my nose and throat and I don't when I use the humidifier.

198 I blame Cincinnati.

It was just over 100 years ago that King Gillette made shaving a regular part of being an American male. Mostly it was to make sure that gas masks would have an airtight fit, but it worked. We shave.

For as long as I've shaved (which is oddly more than 29 years) every new Gillette product has been an actual improvement on the prior and has re-set the state of the art for shaving equipment.

I remember a 60 Minutes thing where all the Gillette execs came to the office in Boston and shaved there using the trial products. Real testing.

And now all of that goodwill is gone overnight. I blame those Pete Rose bastards with Ohio River sludge in their brains.

I should have excerpted the relevant quote:

Gillette was also a Utopian Socialist.[13] He published a book titled The Human Drift (1894)[14] which advocated that all industry should be taken over by a single corporation owned by the public, and that everyone in the US should live in a giant city called Metropolis powered by Niagara Falls. A later book, World Corporation (1910)[15] was a prospectus for a company set up to create this vision. He offered Theodore Roosevelt the presidency of the company, with a fee of one million dollars.[16] (Roosevelt declined the offer.) Gillette's last book, The People's Corporation (1924),[17] was written with Upton Sinclair and later inspired Glen H. Taylor.

Mackenzie had already made it to the Pacific and back, but in Canada.

They did nothing novel and when they came home Lewis could or would not do his homework and write the book Jefferson hired him to do so he shot himself.

450 Most historians today think Lewis was murdered. He was prone to what was called melancholy in those days, it's true. But he was traveling to Washington and stayed at a tavern overnight. There were some inconsistencies in their account of what happened, The proprieters ended up buying a lot of ground for cash, this was a source of rumors and suspicion for many years later.

Ok, so I just went to Facebook and looked at ModeloUSA postings. In between their posts featuring UFC fighters, and other champion athletes, are stories of someone from Latin America who emigrated here, obtained refugee status and then became a successful entrepreneur or musician , etc.

I'm not interested in turning into a nutter equivalent of leftist who see rapists in every corner of every college, toxic masculinity whenever a guy picks up a football, or shriek about our President joking that the first lady could have made salads for the Clemson team members that he's so misogynistic.

Their current posts are supportive of legal immigration of people with ambition , just as our president is.

There's a backstory to that. "Boomer" is used among 4chan types to mean anyone who's kind of out of it. Ethan Van Sciver is a Gen Xer, but routinely calls himself a "Boomer" when he doesn't get some Internet meme.

So I've stopped taking it to mean literally "Boomers" and usually take it to mean someone who's not up with the new memes and jokes.

But someone not knowing that context would see it as insulting, so I deleted my reference to it.

Modelo is represented by Constellation brands and imported into the USA by some Chicago importer.
Posted by: Jen the original at J

where do you get the legal immigration bit? there is nothing "nutter" about finding it curious that a huge company is using their advertising money to run what are essentially political advertisements.

do foreign companies generally run advertising about their immigrants here?

their ads are titled "hispanic foot ball great fights to pave the way", "fighting for respect with pilot olga custido"

their tag line is "it doesn't matter where you come from it matters what you are made of."

how much more open borders do they have to be?

what about this shit where they talk about the astronaut that had migrant workers for parents. "in the fields he couldn't tell where one country ended and the next began." then it goes on to state "in the space he still couldn't tell where one country ended and the next
began."

then they close with their tag line "it doesn't matter where you come from it matters what you are made of. modelo brewed with the fighting spirit."

611 I've used their razors for years, without really thinking about it. I have ordered a Merkur Futur Double Edged safety razor, and Japanese Feather brand blades. You can get it on Amazon, but I ordered from West Coast Shaving because they have a 10% new customer discount. After the upfront cost, which is not much more than several packs of Gillette cartridges, you can shave for a couple bucks a year, at least for the blade part.

I'll never buy another Gillette product again. And now I think I'll go get rid of the other P&G products in our house.

I always marveled at Obama for not realizing this. It's 1960, and Stan is a 17 year old who's been doing the wild thing with a married African. Oops. If she'd had access to abortion, there's a 99% chance we wouldn't have had to put up with Obama.
