Public records requests have revealed that on at least four occasions, the Raleigh-Durham police obtained warrants forcing Google to reveal the identities of every mobile user within acres of a crime scene, sweeping up the personal information of thousands of people in a quest to locate a single perp. The warrants came with gag orders that banned Google from disclosing their existence; in their requests for the warrants, local prosecutors say that they don't even believe that warrants are needed to get this information, but since Google insists, they're willing to get them. The U.S. State Department under former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson vetted and approved the publication of fiercely anti-Trump news articles written by a current State Department official, Conservative Review has learned. On October 13 in the White House, President Trump announced that he had ordered a complete strategic review concerning the United States’ Iran policy. “Today, I am announcing our strategy, along with several major steps we are taking to confront the Iranian regime’s hostile actions and to ensure that Iran never, and I mean never, acquires a nuclear weapon,” the president announced, setting a major course change from the Obama administration’s appeasement-minded policies.Had I been POTUS, I would have fired your ass too Tillerson. The human-like silicone doll, named Ken, has a thin, muscular body, a customisable penis and is easy to “move or change position at your whim”, according to Lumidolls. They spent their honeymoon in Amsterdam campaigning for an international "Bed-In" for peace. They planned another "Bed-in" in the United States, but were denied entry. The couple then went to Montreal, and during a "Bed-in" at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel recorded ‘Give Peace a Chance’. Packers fans have much to be excited about as the free agent period comes into full swing. Previously the Packers have been notoriously quiet during the offseason, but new Packers GM Brian Gutekunst looks to take a more aggressive approach in free agency to revamp a defense ranked as one of the worst in the league. But if Packers faithful are looking to celebrate this change of direction with an adult beverage outside the hallowed confines of Lambeau Field, under a proposed state law they could be breaking the law. A proposal currently making its way through the state legislature, Assembly Bill 433, would make tailgating illegal before Packers (and potentially Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers) games. Specifically, it would ban the consumption of alcoholic beverages on private property if the person in charge of the property received payment for temporary use of the property, unless that person obtained a retail license to sell alcoholic beverages. MINNESOTA – A woman who mistakenly fatally shot her boyfriend during a YouTube stunt has been sentenced to 180 days in jail. 20-year-old Monalisa Perez, who was 19 at the time of the incident, and her boyfriend, 22-year-old Pedro Ruiz were trying to achieve YouTube fame – to get views, subscribers and notoriety – so they tried amping up their pranks. According to court documents, Perez shot Ruiz at close range in June 2017 with a .50 caliber handgun after he mistakenly thought the book he was holding would stop the bullet. “They were in love. They loved each other. It was just a prank gone wrong. It shouldn’t of happened like this. It shouldn’t have happened at all,” said Ruiz’s aunt, Claudia Ruiz. “He wanted to have so many babies. Baby Sister Update
Over the weekend, her longtime (out-of-town) friend Renee came to visit, and even brought her daughters! She reports: "Had a nice visit Saturday with Joyce. Lunch at a coffee shop and shopping at the Market of Marion after doing our nails for matching manicures. Dinner at the end with Chef Hubby and Daughter. Good visiting time with Joyce and family, and Natasha got to swim in Joyce's pool, which she loved. On Sunday, we had a GREAT time at Silver Springs. Saw lots of monkeys, one in the tree in the background! As of one year ago, people hardly ever saw the monkeys as they hid further Inland. On Sunday afternoon they were all out hanging out near the boardwalk. Or at least a lot of them were." Yikes! What a fun visit - Thanks for the report and pics, Renee. (Mrs Ibguy and I were disappointed to see that Joyce really is back in her wheelchair, but so grateful that she's still with us, and enjoying herself as best she can] And yesterday, Joyce got a makeover with cosmetics gifted from the American Cancer Society. Nice! OTOH: Spoke with Joyce earlier this evening, and she was barely understandable. Hopefully just an 'off' day. [Horde: To my fellow Hordelings, thank you all in advance for your prayers and well-wishes for my sister and her family] Posted by: ibguy at March 20, 2018 10:03 PM (vUcdz) Posted by: Calm Mentor at March 20, 2018 10:03 PM (0t14c) 28

Two things: I never buy the 'bi-curious' thing. A dude is pretty much gay or not (although I think it can be acquired behavior- maybe compulsive.) Two, the wife/lady in the bottom picture is definitely a '1'. Tattoos, but the beer cozy, the hat and cleavage certainly speak to the right attitude. It this necessary or just lazy policing and invasion of privacy?
++++ Cops routinely collect video from private cams. Same principle at stake, i9t seems to me. If a gas station has a cam pointed in a manner that also catches people passing on the street, nobody says it's inappropriate for the cops to collect the video to see if they can id suspects or witnesses. The quote says personal info, but if it's just location info, it's not anymore personal than what a cam picks up. I don't like the gag order part of it though. I don't know if the cops get gag orders when they collect video, but I would be against that as well. Posted by: Anon Y. Mous at March 20, 2018 10:06 PM (pvjTE) 37

Is gayrobotsexual a gender now?
I declare that there are a number of genders equal to the population of the planet. Until two people can prove that they have exactly the same "that's a one" or "that's a zero" response to every other person on the planet. As well as every animal. And every object. Real or imaginary, for all three categories. Then those two people can share a gender. Makes things much easier. Or we could just go back to "male" and "female". But that's crazy talk. Cochran! How big a gun safe? I'm about to face the same problem myself. Posted by: Comrade Hrothgar at March 20, 2018 10:18 PM (n9EOP) This is a two person task, but it makes the task doable, even for an "average" guy, and his lady. Go to your local-est golf driving range, and buy four to six dozen used range balls. One man can "tilt" a typical 60"H x 22"W x 20"D gun safe, far enough for herself to start a row of golf balls under the raised edge. Next, start to push the safe up onto the golf balls, and have her start a new row, every time you move the safe about four to six inches. Repeat until the entire safe has golf balls under it. Move the safe SLOWLY in the desired direction. It's now on BALL BEARINGS, so it can get away from you FAST, if you're not careful. BE careful. When you get it where you want it, reverse the "tilt" process. Removing golf balls from under the safe must be done ONLY with a yardstick, 1/2" dia. dowell, or other non-human extension. NEVER allow her to put fingers, hand or arm under the tilted safe! I've also seen professional movers use a conventional furniture moving frame to good effect. That looks like a horizontal picture frame, made of dense wood, with castered wheels on all four corners. Only thing with those, is they're nearly the height of three golf balls, so take a LOT more tilt of the safe to get an edge under the safe. That's a three man job, seriously. two to tilt the safe, one to shove the frame underneath. I don't know of any "one man" tips or techniques, not with any margin of safety, anyway. And that's your safe moving tip for the evening, Horde. Jim Sunk New Dawn Galveston, TX Posted by: Jim at March 20, 2018 10:57 PM (QzJWU) 261

You could always do that. Just take taxis. Sure, self-driving cars that were trustworthy would be fine, but the idea that they should be unleashing those things on the road, now, for no reason is absolutely insane. I have to think that the speed with which various local governments allowed self-driving cars to be tested out on real roads with real people is unlike anything. I had never heard of such a thing before. Usually, you would require years and years of testing on private proving grounds and loads of data before such things would be allowed onto the roads - and before I would be forced to share roads with them. People already have a proclivity these days to avoid human contact. Sexbots seem to be kind of a piece with everything else.
When you begin to see people as less and less necessary, combined with the disposable nature of sexual partners these days (still love a quote from an article from several years ago describing today's 20somethings as 'sexual nomads') it is not really surprising that people take the next step of completely dehumanizing their sexual 'partner'. When everything is about personal satisfaction and not about connection, these things happen. Posted by: Aetius451AD Work Laptop at March 20, 2018 11:19 PM (WjgGA) 331

But there is a big difference between it being a small segment of twisted individuals and it being normalized in a society that is already moving toward approving the real thing. Massive difference. Also a gigantic difference between dolls, and making sexbot dolls that are suppose to be realistic size children. The comparisons are chalk and cheese. We are taling a whole other level and societal approval. Sexbots and SexDolls are being made to replicate real people as close as possible. This isn't Betsy Wetsy and Chatty Cathy doll sizes. Interesting technique, both the beginning and end installation should be tricky but it sounds doable. Now how to get the darn thing up stairs! My house was built when it was more efficient for the builder to bribe the building inspector rather than pay attention to any code!
Thanks Posted by: Comrade Hrothgar at March 20, 2018 11:08 PM (n9EOP) Stairs. This is when you bite the bullet, and hire a pro. And I don't mean that as snark, I mean that in order to help save you from severe injury or death, and your house from serious, expensive damage, and your safe from being destroyed by gravity and the basement floor. A professional safe moving dolly, features a 12 volt motor, deep cycle battery, and one hell of a set of "step-down" gears, driving the main climbing belt, which bears against the tread and/or riser in your staircase. The safe is very securely belted onto this dolly, and rides up the stairs at about a 45 degree angle of tilt. Pros will also have INSURANCE, in case something goes expensively awry. I'm one hell of a do-it-myselfer. I can build a house and do everything save the electrical, 'cause I have no interest in burning down my own house. But I won't move a safe on a staircase. I'd call a pro. And so should you. Jim Sunk New Dawn Galveston, TX Posted by: Jim at March 20, 2018 11:23 PM (QzJWU) 343

@317
But in the last few years I've seen things I would have never believed. So I think sexbots will take hold and become commonplace through technology pushes. Just like kids have been programmed in other ways to follow tech blindly. -------------------------- I suspect they will. And not necessarily because "tech is cool". Having a relationship brings a lot of baggage with it. It's difficult, and it's easy to get burned. Badly. And while a string of one night stands might avoid some of those problems, they introduce additional problems of their own (such as diseases). But people have sex drives. So they'll continue to look for outlets to satisfy that drive. After the technology behind the bots has progressed far enough, people getting frustrated with attempts to hook up will likely consider bots instead. Your own bot won't stand you up. It won't make eyes at other people. It won't give you interesting and exciting diseases (or complain if you happen to already have interesting and exciting diseases). It won't regret its decision to have sex with you and accuse you of rape six months later. You never have to worry about it getting pregnant and suing for paternity money (or getting you pregnant). And you can store it out of sight in your closet when your friends come to visit. Additionally, men are likely to have the greater interest in them, as they tend to be more interested in the sex act than women. So on the positive side, the feminists (who will hypocritically complain about men having sex with machines instead of real people) are likely to flip out over the things. Posted by: Legion of Gloomer at March 20, 2018 11:29 PM (WwTrs) I'm fond of the recoil characteristics of the .45 ACP. I'm partial also to the greater number of rounds one is able to carry in the 9mm magazine. In this, with modern, high performance 9mm JHP ammo, I'd go with the Nine. But my personal favorite combo, the 1911 Lightweight Commander, firing high-performance 185 gr. JHPs in .45 ACP, is a show-stopper. And yes, I prefer the higher velocity and flatter trajectory of the 185 gr. slug. Plus, it's just a wee bit softer in recoil. Not much of a difference in High Performance defense loads. Noticeable difference in FMJ practice loads. If you can find a Lightweight Commander, try it with some 185 grain ammo, and let me know whatcha think. The Sociopolitical Implications Of r/K Selection Theory
The weird thing is that today's game strategies are an adaptation in response to our society's unnatural shift from K-selection (where being hard-working and stable is valued) to r-selection (where being "exciting" and flashy is valued). This is why in today's dating arena, those continuing to use traditional courtship strategies are like fish out of water. These days, being at least somewhat game-aware is pretty necessary even to get a steady girlfriend. These differing strategies lead to much confusion about what best exemplifies an alpha-a socially savvy and successful man, or a meth head ex-convict with missing teeth and a high "notch count"? http://www.returnofkings.com/111544/the- sociopolitical-implications-of-rk-selection-theory Posted by: Anon Y. Appreciate the additional input, I used to work where there were multiple safes and I know the dolly type you are talking about, That said, I still need to figure out the best way to get this done at all. Posted by: Comrade Hrothgar at March 20, 2018 11:32 PM (n9EOP) Possible DIY method, alternate. Go to Harbor Freight, and buy their 440lb. capacity electric hoist. Get a LOT of nylon webbing, and get that safe wrapped and ready to be hoisted. With a 3/4" piece of plywood, sized just wider but a foot taller than the safe, tack on a layer of carpet facing "down" to the stair treads. Secure this to the safe, while the safe is still vertical, doing so in a manner so that when the safe is tilted down onto the stairs, it's now lying atop a carpet-bottomed "toboggan". Roll in a mechanics engine hoist above the stairs, firmly block the wheels in all directions. Run the hoist's cable through at least one set of blocks (for a 2:1) advantage, or if there's enough scope of cable, go to a double-block, for a 3:1 advantage. Pull that SOB up the stairs, till it's mostly up out of the stairwell. Then, use the engine hoist's hydraulic to raise the boom, and pull the safe to the vertical. Then, use the golf ball system for the final distance. The Horror Freight hoist lists for $99. Find and use an online coupon, make it cheaper. Good luck! Speaking of "worms", I spent the last couple of days tearing down the shitty-built shed on the back of my house here in AJ. Had to get it down to gain access to the rear gable end wall. Footing for the shed walls is four courses of suitcase block, capped with a piece of steel stud forced down over it.
They had a 2X4 sill on top of that. I thought the sill was dry-rotted. Nope, termites; the tunnels were unmistakeable. But no sign of live bugs, no sawdust or fresh tubes on the foundation. All we have left of decades of menagerie is three cats.
And they're all inside for the night, like it or not. Nice. Some folks would exclaim, "three cats!" like it's a lot. From the week in 1995 when two barn cats gave birth to two litters, for a total of seven kitties, we have never had so few critters at home. Of course, we still had three kids at home back then, too. I feel old. But old is relative. I hung out with Uncle Ed and Mom this weekend, both nonagenarians. If I thought I had 30 more years to go like they got, I might think I had a chance to clean up my mess. That's all I ask. I'm gonna bug out, but I want to leave my beloved Horde with a thought since William kinda brought it up.
Okay, so you know how the media *spit* seems to botch very very simple facts when it starts arguing about guns? I had an idea. Okay, you know how some POWs were forced to build bombs and weapons for the enemy but would sabotage them as a way to protect their comrades? So what if these factual errors aren't a result of complete incompetence? What if there are people on the inside purposefully fucking up so no one takes them seriously? For example, someone pointed out on Twitter...today, yesterday, whenever... a story where the associated picture showed a bullet in a clip but it was backwards. A clip of a guy shooting a watermelon with a shotgun and the narrator saying it's aN AR15. We all recall the USA Today chainsaw bayonete thing, right? And of course these aren't unusual mistakes, these are *common* mistakes. And they happen far too frequently. What if we have some allies in the MFM purposefully fucking up? I guess we can say for sure the editors and the talking heads know sweet fuck all, but if the lower level guys wanna sabotage their agenda? Like some video editor slips glaring errors into a news report? I can totally see a 4Chan shitlord working the USA Today web team Adding that chainsaw bayonete. Editors too stupid or too busy and don't notice and it slips by. Anyway, I haven't given it a great deal of thought but it's this feeling I've got. Good night! Scottish shitlord Count Dankula taught his girlfriend's adorable pug to siegheil, and has been convicted today of "grossly offensive" communications under a UK law. This trial has been dragged out for 2 years, and as Mark Steyn would say, the process is the punishment. But now the worst part is ahead it would seem. The fact that he is notanazi is the most obvious bit of this story. I can't help but think that he should have told variations on the joke, once a day for the duration of his ordeal. Of course the number of people who have seen the pug salute is in the millions thanks to the law. Posted by: BourbonChicken at March 21, 2018 12:58 AM (rnAwa) 571

Building berms in the Texas Hill Country.
One hires a company to haul in twenty truckloads of fill dirt. One hires a suitable Caterpillar Operator to push, shove and sculpt said fill, into a suitable shooting bay and backstop. One does NOT attempt to "sculpt" the indigenous Texas Hill Country limestone and hard caliche materials to suit their needs. And if they do, they hire a licensed blasting expert to do the "sculpting", withal. I exaggerate, only a bit to illustrate the care which must be taken when selecting Hill Country acerage. There are, in fact, soil covered lands with easily sculpted topsoils. Most of those are now cultivated by Texas Wineries. All of the cities previously mentioned, are but an hours drive at most, from San Antonio or Austin. Kerrville has a major VA hospital, and the highest percentage of Military Retirees in the nation. Make the scouting trip. You will NOT be disappointed. All of Texas is riddled with Morons and Ettes. Quitcherbitchin. Kerrville is a lovely city to visit, has many good restaurants, a decent cinema and an active social and cultural life. Roll down the hill about twenty-some miles and you can catch the weekend cowboy festivities in Bandera (and a REALLY excellent restaurant called Bricks) as well as the locally famous OST, along with the ranch rodeos in season.

Actually one of the best unheralded guitarist is a guitarist named Phil Keaggy. [...]
Posted by: Kreplach at March 20, 2018 10:48 PM (UfMVm) Long-time Keaggy fan. I was actually involved in promoting a couple of his concerts back in the mid 80's. Designed the promotional materials (such as they were). Played chauffeur both times. First time picked him and his opening act (Bryan Duncan) up at the airport in my mom's '82 Buick Regal; gave him the real star treatment. At the airport, one of his pieces of equipment (his Jam Man, I think) came out on the luggage carousel (!) and, being the overly-helpful fan boi, I grabbed it. The top separated from the bottom, cables spilled out. I was slightly embarrassed; he was gracious. Second time picked him and his nephew Eddie Keaggy (sound man) at the airport, this time driving a church van. Went to Guitar Player Magazine HQ to meet one of the editors there (Jaz Obrecht) and get a tour of the facilities. Then had lunch at Chili's (again, real star treatment). He ordered fajitas; I forgot what I ordered (probably an old-fashioned). Unbelievably talented, unbelievably humble guy. It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out and Sister Bethany was dead from a slip and fall in the shower twenty years ago. She was one-hundred and two when she passed on to her reward, but with her passing, who among the other sisters had the courage to investigate a mysterious and startling shot in the dark?
"Who will go investigate?" the old narrator asked. "Not I," said Sister Mary. "Not I," said Sister Jane. "Not I," said the pig. "Shut up pig, you are not in this fairy tale," said the irritated old narrator. Piggy expressed his indignation with grunts and snorts as he walked around the couch to lay in the corner where he could still be heard grumbling about his abrupt dismissal. "Now where was I," asked the old narrator. "But sir," Sister Mary said, "Shots in the dark are not as frightening as exploding FedEx packages. Can we have explosions instead?" "Very well," the old man said. "I will start again. It was a dark and stormy night when suddenly the sound of a distant explosion was heard." "Could just be thunder," Sister June exclaimed. "Could be the brewery blew up again. That was exciting," said Sister Leroy in her deep baritone. Everyone except the narrator giggled because Sister Leroy liked her pint of ale at supper. "This explosion," said the narrator, "was not like the deep rumble of the brewery explosion that was more then ten miles away. This was a short, sharp bang, and much closer." The Seven Sisters of Fair Hope Convent of the Souls Saved Daily waited for the old narrator to compose his thoughts. Sister Sarah spoke quietly, as the other Sisters were silent. "We will have souls to save tomorrow, and we should be preparing ourselves for that hard work." There were groans of disappointment when the old narrator agreed with Sister Sarah. "Indeed. There will be much work to do, so no fairy tale tonight." The old narrator mumbled to himself as he left the young Sisters of Faith and Hope to their restfull sleep. As he passed the front window, a soundless flash of lightning, high up in the sky caught his attention. He thought he saw something out by the gate to the Convent. He flicked on the lights to see a package someone had left just inside the gate. "Can't leave it out in the rain," the old narrator grumbled. "Who would leave a package out all afternoon?" he wondered. The old man quietly opened the door and went out to retrieve the package before the rain started. He was surprised at how heavy it was. The explosion blew out all the windows in the front of the Convent and started the neighborhood dogs to barking. The old narrator never had the chance to ask for whom the dogs were barking for they were barking for him. Posted by: Seven Souls Stalk Sister Sarah at March 21, 2018 04:14 AM (roQNm) 631

Posted by: Skip at March 21, 2018 04:40 AM (aC6Sd) If true, that's good news. The NY Daily News is also reporting he's dead. The serial bomber behind a deadly exploding package spree in Austin has reportedly been killed following nearly three weeks of terror in the Texas capitol. News of the suspect's death, first reported by the Austin American-Statesman, coincided with a police shooting that stopped traffic along a highway near Austin just before 3 a.m. local time Wednesday. Dozens of FBI agents were seen swarming the site of the shooting in the Round Rock suburb, about 11 miles north of Austin. It was not immediately clear how the shooting was related or how the suspect died. A FBI spokeswoman did not respond to a request for comment. The suspect's death follows the fifth confirmed bomb linked to the plot responsible for killing two people. The explosive device, stashed inside a package, detonated inside a FedEx depot near San Antonio. The package, bound for Austin, was also sent from Austin. KEYE-TV reports the U.S. Marshals office collected surveillance footage of a man dropping off two packages at a FedEx store in south Austin. One of the packages later exploded at the Schertz facility around 1 a.m. Tuesday. Posted by: RickZ at March 21, 2018 05:03 AM (lbt9w) 650
