Or last fall after U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore was credibility accused by women of having sexually abused them when they were in high school. One of the victims as young as 14. Republicans withdrew their support for Roy Moore, except for President Trump, who doubled down. To this list of those marching alongside Nazis and those accused of sexually abusing children, the White House has added someone accused by two ex-wives of spousal abuse." He continued, "White House officials have been generally aware of the accusations that White House Staff Secretary Rob Porter has beaten his ex-wives. Today the White House is still standing by Porter, attesting to his character and his excellence." He added, "Before we begin today's report, I just wanted to once again note a further erosion of standards for what I thought we had all agreed was not ok, not acceptable, not moral, white supremacist rallies, child molesters, domestic abusers. As a matter of evidence, as it is presented in a court of law, it should be pointed out that a picture of a shiner does not in any way prove the cause of that shiner.
And I can say, having seen records of quite a few divorce cases, in any contested divorce the man is ALWAYS accused of things like this. Doesn't mean it's not true, but it is a standard tactic of any divorce lawyer to load up the case with allegations of abuse. Makes the settlement a lot better, and scares the man out of any jury trial on the merits.
So, what they have pulled on Ron Porter is the same thing that can be hung around the neck of almost any man who has ever been through a bad divorce.

I've always felt a little bad for her. That said, I like Jake Clapper. I don't know what he said but I hope it's something along the lines of how there are basic lines of human decency, norms to which society generally agrees and to which we adhere, and that we continue to see the Trump presidency eroding these lines. That's what I think, anyway.
My opinion of Tapper personally are also favorable, but homoerotic is beyond hyperbole -- although I probably wouldn't object were he to stop by my place with some videos and wine coolers.

She is one of my most despised celebs, yet I pity her and her heartbreak. Endometriosis is not fun. As a 30-something who has not yet had kids but wants to, I worry about fibroids, PCOS and infertility causing havoc when I finally try.
I've always felt a little bad for her. In her lunatic ravings it's obvious she wants traditional feminine things--like getting married in a big white dress, a family--but liberal feminism has taught her it is shameful to want them. The voice of a generation is above petty plebial desires! The mental schism of reconciling all of this has worked itself in deep it seems.

I know it's not popular with folks to talk about "God's will be done" but sometimes that's what we need to focus on. Nowadays people insist upon their will, by any means necessary, because. Because.
I wanted children, but was never able to get pregnant. Oh, I didn't explore every avenue, but it was a point of pain and sadness for a long time. Then I got with the program.
As it turned out, many wonderful things were made possible because I didn't have children. My point is, we don't know God's plan or the greater picture.
Lena makes it hard to sympathize with her, because she says such stupid and cruel things, and makes me want to say stupid and cruel things like "Oh Lena, you're just sad because you can't get an abortion." And she could turn her back on feminism if she wants. She needs to take responsibility for her own choices in life.
LizLem, I hope that you're able to have children when you're ready, but if you can't, don't allow it to ruin your life. There are many blessings out there.

Anyhoo, yay! And remember to take good notes and keep your oncologist up-to-date on EVERYTHING that changes wrt symptoms and what-not. I didn't do enough (even though I was doing a lot) during my chemo and the effects of, I think, overtreatment/dosing left permanent physiological damage. But do stay on top of things as much as possible. The cure can also be a b*tch.

The funniest part of that dumb overblown narrative (this has been an internet joke for months if not years and only a couple of attention-seeking morons tried it) was when it turned out that Chuckie Schumer almost ate one by mistake in or before 2012.

These two go together. A bunch of them think that they are entitled to "Mr. Right," by which I mean a perfect Prince Charming fantasy. Nobody can live up to that ideal because nobody like that exists. For others it's a refusal to "settle," but again this usually means they think they'll get the Prince Charming fantasy eventually and/or aren't willing to put the work in to make a relationship with someone work because they think the perfect relationship comes from the perfect man falling out of the sky and sweeping them off their feet.

The kids you teach get promoted. They don't bring their kids to see you, or come to your house for Thanksgiving. Why does she break up with this guy? Just because of the kid thing?
