Peter Strzok on Joining Mueller's RUSSIA Investigation: "My Gut Says There's No Big 'There' There," But Then, It May be a Chance to "Fix It and Finish It"

Yet he also felt a sense that he had to "fix things," so he joined the investigation anyway.

Despite his gut telling him that there was no "there" there on the Russia claims, Strzok nevertheless discussed "fix[ing] things" -- he seems to have felt that even a rigged Hillary fake-investigation was too much, and wanted to "fix" that -- and his possible Rendezvous With History if he joined Mueller's team:

. Strzok continues, "And then I think… A case which would be in the history books." He adds, “A million people sit in [Assistant Director] and staff jobs. This is a chance to DO. In maybe the most important case of our lives." So that's the appeal of joining the team.

The rest of the first page appears to be Strzok flattering Page, telling her what an asset she would be to the team. He then adds, "For me, and this case, I personally have a sense of unfinished business. unleashed it with MYE. Now I need to fix it and finish it." MYE was short for "midyear exam," the case name given to the Hillary Clinton email investigation. Is Strzok saying he has to "fix" that investigation by participating in the Mueller investigation of Trump?

Remember, he's chomping at the bit to "fix it and finish it" and "DO" even though he thinks this RUSSIA bullshit is all bullshit.

Maybe we can start calling this guy Mr. Fix-It.

7 He's Mr Fix-It more than we can joke....

he was part of Comey's "Donk Team" the same 6-11 people kept on showing up to investigate Obama and Clinton fuck-ups.

That means defacto not dejure the FBI was immunized from Congressional oversight.

Unless and until the GOP makes the out of control civil service agents' agencies pay a painful carrying cost for partisan operatives in career slots this will continue.

The GOP should dock a million for each invocation of the 5th amendment and/or "oops we did it again *loss*" of requested records that by law MUST be available.

12 But the tarmac meeting being only small talk does make sense if it was the end point, not the starting point. By then, it was clear within the FBI that Hillary would be exonerated, the statement already was drafted and re-drafted and reviewed, and Lynch likely knew it. Hillary's interview, which was not under oath and not recorded, was a formality so the predetermined decision could assume the patina of legitimacy.

So the tarmac meeting very likely signaled to Hillary through Bill that all was good, that there was nothing to worry about regarding her upcoming FBI interview.

99 52 The Great Unraveling

didn't mean that in the sense of Generational Theory, referred to the Keystone Kabal's excellent plan turning to dogshit.

The Unraveling phase in gen theory is the Third Turning. We're currently in a Fourth Turning, a time of crisis where old systems are overturned in favor of a better outcome for society. The United States Revolution occurred during a 4th turning, and we are now in the middle of the People's/White Hats revolt against a corrupt, sick, cancerous ruling cabal of oligarchs.

They know Hellary is guilty of all sorts of shit. Dead to rights guilty, slam dunk guilty, yet they created a narrative that precludes "criminal intent"?
This smart military blog has plenty of commenters who've flat out said intent has nothing to do with the actions and the actions are chargeable.

They (Strolzyk and Co) also know about Fusion GPS, the DNC, McCain and Steele, so they know absolutely there's no there there, and yet there is Moeller and Co investigating the hell out of everyone connected to Trump in an effort to get them to slip up for a process charge, just to make the claim of "culture of corruption" or some such bullshit.

Who was that Romanian guy and his wife who had a bad Christmas? Yeah, that's all I'll say.

That's my guess of fed employees that hate Trump enough to want him out, and might be willing to do something, even if it is just to send a text or email, to advance the event.

But there is a hierarchy of these fish, and an FBI agent, a higher-up agent at the DC HQ offices, is near the top of that hierarchy.

Think a half-million sounds high? Well, let's add up the numbers. Get the employee counts, just in D.C., of those who work for Justice, which includes FBI, then State, EPA, Defense, Education, Energy, Transportation, Homeland Security, Labor, and outfits like the FCC.

Fifty thousand here, fifty thousand there, and pretty soon you are up there. And I'll bet that ninety percent of those counts vote D, and of those, at least half are hard left enough to be foot soldiers in this hate-Trump-enough-to-do-a-little-something army.

And for all those supposedly straight arrow field agents out there, they should hang their heads in shame. I would have resigned my commission had the Army been anywhere near as corrupt as the one they serve in.

I used to respect the FBI and today I have nothing but contempt for them. Each and every one of them

Until this is resolved and the rule of law is reestablished, I withdraw my allegiance to a country run by scum like this.

Do you know about Mark Taylor? He is a fireman who was on disability and the Lord told him in 2011 that Donald Trump was going to be POTUS.
He wrote a book called the Trump Prophecy.

I remember after Trump got elected Taylor said that Jesus told him the opposition was going to try to keep him from getting inaugurated, but they would fail. Recount, fake pee-pee dossier, those stupid campaigns to get the electoral college to switch their votes.

The recounts coughed up more votes for Trump and revealed extensive voter fraud in Detroit. The campaign to get the EC to change resulted in votes being switched...from HRC to Bernie or whoever.

I still think it would explain John Roberts, McCain and Romney's presidential runs, and who knows what else.

But you know what? It tells me that they have NOTHING on Trump or they would have flipped him during the campaign. Either they have nothing on him or he's not afraid of anything they do, rendering blackmail useless.

Given the weak shit they've had to concoct on their own (Allred, Collusion, Billy Bush), they don't have anything to hold over his head to get him out of the way.

A woman is a female human being. The term woman is usually reserved for an adult, with the term girl being the usual term for a female child or adolescent. I read where Steele hadn't been to Russia in 17 years or so - and I find this hard to believe - given he was built up like some James 007 Bond figure - that the guy doesn't speak a lick of Russian.

Remember, Nellie Ohr's wife was at Fusion during this period. I think you're spot on regarding Steele didn't write it. Nellie did, threw in some other stuff - and then Fusion got Steele's name attached to it to give it more gravitas.

It was easier to get the FISA warrant then. here's an MI6 dude.

294 Ace, something that's probably over most pundit heads.

Strzok was an Army officer and the son of an Army officer.

"Fix and finish" is shorthand for "pin down and kill" in the combat arms community. After you locate the target you fix them, typically by providing a base of fire that prevents their egress and suppresses their fire, then finish either by frontal assault or flanking by a friendly element remote to your base of fire. The full phrase is "find, fix, finish."

I am fairly confident "fix and finish" was intended in the look-at-me-bro-ette-I'm-so-hardcore sense, not in the I'm-rigging-something intrigue sense, not in the I'm-correcting-what-I-perceive-to-be-an-obvious-error sense.

This is scary stuff. It is what concerns me. They are playing long game. Obama spoke about this once too...getting involved in this.

It is like a parent, when kids are suddenly really quiet in the other room, you know something bad is usually going on.

Obama and his cabal are still a danger. Stealthily silent media wise, but moving the board pieces. I just wish I knew the RNC was a counter party and fighting on the re-districting.

Who is head of that now and what the heck are they doing? Do they tweet? Are they on top of this? Does anyone know? We should be holding them accountable, they have raised enough fvcking money using Trump's name. Feels like a slush fund for vacays instead of working against the re-districting, Republic killing Obama forces.

LIVs are more interesting that simply stupid. Most Trump voters are LIVs but there is information that matters to them. Once the pressure on certain things increases enough it gets their attention and keeps it. There is a lot of overlap between LIVs and single issue voters.

451 Does the Constitution say JEFFERSON IS ALWAYS RIGHT? Might want to reread that.

Marshall thought this wasn't good enough, "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. " and decided to add an "overt act" requirement, which strangely, didn't include marshalling troops to march against a US city.

So if anyone needed to re-read anything, it was Marshall.

And again, I choose Jefferson's wisdom and understanding on the matter over yours.

If you look in the federalist papers, (I believe they attribute it to) Jay states that judiciary branch is experimental. They were just trying to avoid a situation like England's Parliament that they could go back and "clarify" what law they had passed a decade ago.

The designers didn't want the legislature passing ex-post-facto laws that way.

So of course, the judges have the role of keeping an interpretation of the law--but now we have judge-made ex-post-facto laws by interpretation.

And I don't think that was the intent. I don't think they foresaw that judges would be just as ambitious to read it as a scratchpad to change laws to "what they should be".

Posted by: Axeman at January 23, 2018 04:53 PM (vDqXW)

461 No special provision in the Constitution granting special powers of interpretation to authors.

Marshall was fond of reading things in the Constitution that weren't there. Like the level of judicial review he took for himself and his black robed philosopher kings in Marbury v. Madison.

477 400 >>>Want to show us where the Constitution declares the courts and their judgments infallible?

Where was that claimed?

There's a very old legal saying in the United States: the Supreme Court isn't final because it's always right; the Supreme Court is Always Right because it's Final.

And it's final because someone has to be, and the founders never wanted the Executive to have the power to make final judicial determinations, because they had just thrown off a system where the Executive had directed Judicial determinations for hundreds of years.

And that's why Marshall was able to overrule Jefferson's wishes. Agree with Jefferson if you like, but Marshall's ruling was the only version which became actual precedent and law. Most every SCOTUS decision will have a pretty good dissent attached to it - and none of them matter, really. Just words that drift off into the dark.

and just to wade in on terminology - the Constitution is not "precedent", this is a silly thing to say. The Constitution is Ur-Text and foundational black letter law. The definition of "precedent" is that body of decisions which over time have been taken by the US court system as valid applications of the foundational texts and the black letter law.

479 Why is Mueller still jerking this investigation off?

There is so much conflict if interest, professional impropriety, media malpractice, and executive, I say again, executive corruption that nothing he ever comes up with, even if valid, will never be believed to be pure, unadulterated truth. He has to know this.

If I were a Democrat, I would want this investigation to die. That way I could spin conspiracies and sow doubt without any proof. And that is what I want! Let Hillary go, let Lois Lerner go, let Comey go.

My greatest fear for the USA is to have one special counsel indict another special counsel. I would rather acknowledge that criminals have gone free than put this country through that shitshow.
