Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Uncle-Tom Deplorable Still Shackled by White PatriarchyOr, and this may just be crazy talk, an alternative take on the plight of Black America that takes into account actual, real facts and data. My take on Trump's first year as an African-American mom and veteranNow that we’ve arrived at the one-year mark of the Trump presidency, I’ve done some soul-searching regarding my support of the man elected by the American people to lead our nation. As a black woman, a mother and a veteran, am I doing the right thing to continue backing President Trump? Is he really as awful – even evil – as his critics claim? Are his ideas half-baked and dangerous? Is he harming the nation I love? And what does my support for President Trump say about me? By backing a man so hated by some am I compromising my integrity and values? Can I be pro-Trump and still be a good person? I don't like the Balkanization of America. One day in the future we will be judged and see ourselves as the content of our characters rather than the color of our skin, or our genitalia. But I fear that for the next generation we will be forced to carve off chunks of the electorate and appeal to them based on those factors. We didn't make the rules, but we need to take advantage of them to be successful. Anyway, this lady makes some sense. I just wish that she would discard the progressive manipulation of the political landscape that allows them to call into question our integrity and goodness as people if we support President Trump. I hear the phrase "the personal is political" all the time. It's a mantra that gets drummed into people's heads, to the point where so many people are inured with it, they can't dig out of the concept without wondering if they're betraying their class.
Whatever class(es) in which they find themselves. This is, of course, not unintentional. It's what keeps so many decent people caught in the left's web. Posted by: BurtTC at January 21, 2018 12:04 PM (Pz4pT) 11

OT, but I've been waiting for a new thread.
Looks like there was a rocket launch Saturday night that I completely missed. A private company, Rocket Lab, successfully sent their Electron rocket into orbit from New Zealand carrying three tiny satellites. It was only Electron's second test flight, the first one having failed last May. Not too shabby! I was dimly aware of their existence, but I had not been paying attention to Rocket Lab or Electron at all. This launch blindsided me. I have spent all morning playing catch-up trying to educate myself. Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocket_Lab Rocket Lab's own website: https://www.rocketlabusa.com/ Electron is one of the smallest rockets ever to achieve orbit. It's comparable to the Vanguard rocket from the 1950s, but is more efficient so it has a larger payload capacity. Here is a good video about small rockets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1bZO16em2c Electron also employs some advanced technology. The rocket is mostly made of carbon fiber, its Rutherford engine uses electric motors instead of traditional turbopumps, and many parts are 3D printed. Here is a video made around the time of the first test flight last May, which gives some details about the rocket: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXGfK6keS2Q Note the size comparison to SpaceX's Falcon 9. Like Falcon 9, Electron also has nine engines on the first stage and one on the second stage. But it looks like a dollhouse version of Falcon 9! Finally here is the complete webcast from Saturday night: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg5234BOED8 I am really sorry I missed it. This would have been a fun one to watch live. The globalist cabal is the other branch of that uniparty, as they see individual liberty (Americanism) as a threat to their open border global cabal. The US (Americanism) versus Them (NYDC statists) is the real "balkanization", as the connected demand obedience of the serfs. It would appear the fascists have their tentacles run all the way down to the local gun runner and drug dealer, that has to be linked to the Holder preferred FastnFurious guns. The Chicago Mob (which generated so many like Obama, Ayers) has their structure complete right down to the "ward bosses". But on the normal person level, blacks, Hispanics, gays ... generally all can work together just fine. The agitators have a big job keeping so many neighborhoods stirred up in some false agitprop. The inherent difference between Progressives, who believe that The State is their mother/father/life partner, etc. will inherently put all kinds of emotional baggage into the Leader of the State. That is, they will judge the President by standards of whether he "cares" about them as a father should, embodies the virtues they'd expect to see in a life partner, etc.
We can quibble with their actual analysis of the facts, i.e. how they turn the most mundane things into "OMG Binders full of women-he-gives-children-cancer" etc. But the fundamental difference is that reasonable, non-Progressives don't even try to judge a President as their Virtue Signaler in Chief and substitute Daddy/Mommy/bestest besty ever. The black woman author who ultimately concludes Trump is not The Devil frames her whole analysis in practical terms, as in whether DJT is doing the right JOB for which he was elected, and concludes in the affirmative. That in itself is a conservative analysis. If we want to change minds once in awhile we might start with that issue to help frame the debate correctly. Basically, you're not looking to marry the guy, but hoping he can do an incredibly important job in the best interests of the country. Posted by: xnycpeasant at January 21, 2018 12:28 PM (BsGS1) 59

We don't have to invest our whole lives in politics, our whole being. This is a cultural Marxist trap, that they want us all to fall into. Thank you for calling the White House. Unfortunately, we cannot answer your call today, because Congressional Democrats are holding government funding, including funding for our troops and other national security priorities, hostage to an unrelated immigration debate. Trump can be very persuasive one-on-one and when speaking directly to the camera ( so long as he doesn't go too off track) so it's surprising to me why he doesn't make a televised speech directly to the American people laying out just what the Democrats are up to and why he is fighting them. If it's as effective as I think it would be. he would put pressure on the Democrats to explain why they want unlimited numbers of immigrants pouring into the country.

Captain Whitebread- (12/19/17) I've had to go to the local hospital ER a couple of times since heart surgery because I was concerned I might be having more heart trouble. I didn't, but since I didn't have insurance, the bill was huge. I tried paying a little every month, but sometimes I missed because money is really tight. Monday, I was served with a court summons. The collection agency working for the hospital is taking me to court. I owe $4500. I have no way of paying in full. I have to appear in court with the next 35 days. All I am asking from the Horde is prayers that a workable solution might be found. I am not asking for money; everyone has done more than enough after my heart surgery and when I almost had my electricity cut off a couple of years ago. I believe that with enough prayer, a way will reveal itself. At this time, I don't know what it is. But I believe there is one. Ladyl- (12/20/17) My dad is back on Hopice and isn't doing great. Anonymous- (12/19/17) ...Her family has to leave the R.V. park because her husband lost his job two months ago. He has a job prospect in Texas so he is going after it. There are 7 of them living in a 16 ft. trailer but the children are always clean and happy. She has been driving for Uber just to keep food on the table. She's scared about moving, trying to be normal for the kids, doesn't know what will happen if this job prospect doesn't work out. She's got such a good heart and is trying so hard, right now she feels a little desperate and tired. Please pray for her and her family. I know how much it helps. Anonymous- (12/22/17) A dear friend who survived cancer--twice--died unexpectedly Thursday night. Not from cancer. He was one of the kindest, sweetest people I've known. His widow is in shock, and sitting in their house looking at the tree they decorated together, and their gifts to each other under it. Patrick from Ohio- (12/24/17) Can you add my Sister In Law Denise she suffers from LUPUS like symptoms and nothing is really working. JQ- (12/26/17) 'Twas an otherwise Merry Christmas, because it might be Dad's last, as he has advanced cancer. Dad (80s) is ambulatory but slowing down... The reality of Dad's situation hit hard tonight after I got home and my heart is breaking. Prayers welcome, if you would please. Thanks, Merry Christmas, and God bless you all. Jim, Sunk New Dawn- (12/26/17) From a rather chilly Orlando, FL. 89 y/o Step Mom in deteriorating health. One way trip, and a contest as to what gets her first. Water around enlarged heart, or OldTimers. Looks like I'll have to make a hasty long term TDY to Orlando, for however long time is left. DaninMN- (1/8/18 ) Daughter came home from NICU and met her 19 Month old Sister. mpfs- (1/1/18 ) Mom was taken by ambulance yesterday afternoon to the hospital. Possible stroke. When they took her sugar last night it was... 759. Even the neurologist did a double take. Catman- (1/2/18 ) My dad died tonight.... Please prayers. Ron- (1/2/18 ) Please pray for the family of Zack Parrish, the Douglas County Sheriff's Deputy who was slaughtered in an ambush in Highlands Ranch, CO on December 30. He was a true follower of Jesus Christ. Zack was 29. Please pray for his wife Gracie and the two little daughters he left. rocketeer67- (1/2/18 ) Praying for strength to get through a totally unexpected, unforeseen and unwanted divorce from my wife of 20 years. Praying for understanding as to why she has asked for it. Prayers that her eyes would be opened to the hurt that this is causing everyone around her, even if we're all trying to accept it (with varying degrees of sucess moment by moment) with dignity, grace, and love. Most importantly, prayers for our young children, who while appearing to be bearing it better than expected are clearly (at least to me) not themselves. AllenG- (1/9/18 ) None of my normal pith tonight. I desperately covet the prayers of the Horde. The 9 yr old son of one of my old HS/Church youth group friends wouldn't wake up this morning. They took him to the ER and an MRI found a mass in his brain. A first surgery to remove it was only partially successful, he still hasn't woken up, and he's been back I surgery for the lady couple of hours. His name is Brody Nelson. I grew up with his mom, Courtney. They and their family could really use a miracle right about now... Gabe- (1/9/18 ) I have a couple of good friends, Patrick Porter and Barbie Turner who are both battling cancer. A petition to the almighty by the horde would be huge IMO. Commander Cobra- (1/9/18 ) Prayers for active Service Members and those who have served. sulla- (1/9/18 ) I'd ask to have my mother and sister-in-law added. My mother broke her shoulder this week, and my sister-in-law is recovering from a liver/kidney transplant. Fox2!- (1/14/18 ) Please add a friend to the list. She is in ICU, sedated and intubated. jeannebodine- (1/14/18 ) feeling particularly low right now in this brutal winter. My 68-year old husband suffers from Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease and he is deteriorating rapidly. We have no family around us and friends are thin on the ground, even though we always had many friends throughout our lives. Even close friends have disappeared. It sure is a different world out there than the one I grew up in. Prayers would be so appreciated for my husband and for me, a full-time spouse caregiver. Thank you so much. Prayers for you and the Horde from my end. Mary Poppins' Practically Perfect Piercing- Job issues; (1/16/18 ) A friend's wife of barely 2 years was killed by a train. No word on whether it was an accident or suicide. Prayers for him and his daughters. Nathan- (1/16/18 ) Kitsapbass (and family) homeless. Long story short. Wife's ex husband has custody of elder two kids, goes to jail. We move in because state is mandating parent must be in residence, requiring us to break lease. Ex-husband kicks all (including kids he has custody of) out of house because he is upset that we are in the house (even though he knew all this was required by state). Kim Jong-nun- (1/16/18 ) Please pray for the complete recovery of Wayne DuPree's sister who has the most virulent form of breast cancer. Northernlurker- Wife has passed, (1/17/18 ). Czarkazm- (1/17/18 ) We are grateful to God for taking care of our daughter in her first semester at college while earning a 4.0 GPA. thathalfrican- (1/19/18 ) My mother for healing from her cancer and weight gain. My father for having the weight of the world on his shoulders. My siblings for being so young and having to endure all this. My wife for a safe finish to her pregnancy and delivery of our child. Some good fortune for my family would be helpful heh. ------------ Please contact me through email, homemadegravy71 at the hooya, as I cannot be around for many of the posts in most threads. "Can I be a good person and support our President?" I'm surprised that's even a question, but it's been the one that Progda has fabricated over the past couple of years. Of course, to them, if you support their agenda, you're a good human being who possesses all of the necessary qualities of a modern human. You'll have their approval. The problem with immigration is partly that they no longer become American, they are taught (by Dems) to stay in their groups (and vote D).
But another problem is IQ, (except allegedly for the Asian immigrants, though I'm not sure they give tests in the back alleys). It may be the average legal immigrant is going to be smarter, that is indicated by their ability to come legally. But the biggest issue is cultural, as most have lived their whole lives under tyranny and corruption, and their enclaves will perpetuate more of that, and cause great conflicts here. this is American Thinker, "What I learned in the Peace Corps, Trump is Right" https://tinyurl.com/y87s9ye4 Posted by: illiniwek at January 21, 2018 01:00 PM (otAqJ) 111

So, the logic goes (and as said almost literally by Todd), all of the Dem DACA-related drama is aimed at stirring-up voter turn-out this November. 186. Singapore has that, in spades. Brazil, too, but theirs is a messier version.

Democrat strategy: Sometimes you have to get the losing out of the way. Big picture? A loss of 10 Senate seats and 60-40 Republican majority. Take the loss, punt the ball, and move on. Posted by: Acme Trucking Enterprises, White Truck Division
Don't worry, Democrats. You have nothing to fear from a Republican majority. Posted by: Republican Majority at January 21, 2018 01:52 PM (Ndje9) 196
Can I be a good person? Tell you who is not qualified to answer that question for me: the Left.

the media still has so much power over the left side of the bell curve.
Always thought they were 'the left' from some old parliamentary seating arrangement. But your version is MUCH better! Posted by: t-bird at January 21, 2018 01:57 PM (cW490) 198

The problem with leftist minorities and feminists is they don't want fair treatment. They want a power grab. So yes, there must be balkanization.

A previous President who was never all that popular, but who knew how to fight and win - U.S. Grant. Nobody in Washington ever liked him very much, except Lincoln. And the voters.
Sherman once said of Grant "I'm twice the general he is. But Grant's got 10 times my nerve." Among his many unusual personality traits, Grant was known for being one of the most unbeatable poker players in the army, and this from a group of players who could put a lot of today's pro's to shame. Posted by: Infidel at January 21, 2018 01:51 PM (EGFUD) It is my understanding that it was reversed by Trump with a delayed effective date... the broohaha now is our betters trying to re-institute it without us plebs lynching them (solely politically of course since tar and feathers have sadly gone out of fashion).
