I understand some of what they are saying, I doubt anyone here reads Time or watches CNN. I mean, this blog doesn't even directly link to NYT or Washington Post, on purpose.
But that doesn't mean we're totally disconnected from these sources. We get quotes, links, analysis, and sections of what they say every day.
How many people on the left even know World magazine exists, or that Steven Crowder has more subscribers on YouTube than CNN gets viewers in a week? Crowder specifically goes to leftist sites to get information and to learn what is being said and pushed. He passes that on.

I also think that Trump has expected this avenue of, at best, bad press and, at worst, impeachment and is loaded for bear in more ways than one. His tweets will be epic if the 'rats go down this road, i.e., unbelievable at first read and then borne out by the facts. For example, wtf was the "grab 'em by the pussy tape is fake" tweet all about? He admitted it already. Something will come later that will justify that tweet.
Also, we still don't know what covfefe means yet, do we? One day we will.
There is also #TheStorm. If the 4000+ sealed indictments are made public in Trump fashion and include well known and powerful people (Senator McVain, Hillary, John Podesta, who knows) a couple shopworn Hillary supporting lefty activist harpies joining Allred on stage and bitching about Trump bumping into them at some social or asking for their phone numbers will be drowned out by an hysterical press storm of "tyrannical Hitler tactics" or some such.

Oh I agree completely. Especially since when parents are involved (the usual parties in most traditional societies) they generally pick mates based on their family, not on the person. That may sound cold, but those of us who've been around know that if a couple has wildly different families who can't stand each other, divorce is usually guaranteed before too much time passes.
Having similar families from similar backgrounds doesn't guarantee success, but it removes one of the biggest guarantees of failure.

You're almost certainly correct, but let me posit another (much less likely) scenario: they DIDN'T choose a hyper-partisan progressive because they were concerned that discovery of her partisanship would undermine the whole op.
In their shoes, I'd look for someone who could use the money, but didn't have an obvious track record of leftist activism.
Of course, she might be playing both ends against the middle, or O'Reilly might conceivably be bribing her to say that.

Another problem for the conspirators - it doesn't work unless it comes from someone who had some believable claim of access to Trump. Now, he knew a lot of people in his reality TV days, but still, this greatly restricts who they can talk to.
And if that person happens to admire Trump but wasn't open about it, they could make an offer they shouldn't have made.
