1 Good Morning Morons today is Saturday, October 21, 2017. On this day in 1994 North Korea and the United States (under Clinton) signed an Agreed Framework that requires North Korea to stop its nuclear weapons program and agree to inspections. The US agreed to deliver them a metric shit-ton of oil and help build light water reactors that were not amenable to making nuclear weapons. We sent them the oil but congress never approved funding for the reactors. And they never approved this treaty either. Of course the Norks cheated right off the bat.

2 Samantha Power gives testimony to congress. She says little that we didn't already know but she said the so-called 'unmasking' was not at her request. That someone else used her name. Everybody knows it was Obama all the way.

3 The construction industry is whining that there is a shortage of workers. What they are doing is trying to get Trump to allow more cheap Mexican labor across the border. There is plenty of labor out there, but they will have to offer more than sustenance pay.

The Pittsburgh Pirates won the 1960 WS against the Yanks in dramatic fashion. A Home run in the 9th. Who did Burns put up to tell about it? Yankee fans. 19 Regarding the Hartford situation, one of the candidates for Illinois governor has it all figured out how to correct the trouble Illinois has. A "Fair Tax".. Simply tax the people who make more money more, and the ones that don't less, and the ones in the middle will have more money. Or something.
It'll be great!

I would get up at 3:45 AM to go to work. The cats would not bother me as I got ready and headed out the door. The wife would feed our two cats when she got up for work at 7 AM during the week. On weekends, even if I still got up at 3:45, they knew it was ME that was going to feed them. They would then go back to sleep, but, when the wife got up at 8 or whatever, they would pester her thinking they were owed another meal.

Those countries that are heavy into socialism have failed one after another and still they refuse to admit it. Socialist driven urban areas are a disaster. Hartford is just one example, there is not one urban area that I am aware of that is not struggling or on the verge of bankruptcy.

88 Good Morning/Evening Horde from Bangkok!

Thanks Vic for all the teeth-gnashing links! And I certainly remember 1994 with good ol' Bill and the Norks as I was stationed in Okinawa at the time and about to head to South Korea for a joint exercise... Was a SSgt at the time and I remember sitting in the OPSEC/Country briefing for like the umpteenth time when one of the newbies (those bees simply don't fly as we often say) asked what would happen if all hell broke loose while we where there and the old Gunny's face turned tensed up real tight like Clint Eastwood and he said we would probably have to nuke the dogshit out of them b/c all the Chicoms would spring into action and if we lined them up asshole-to-belly button one after the other and marched them smartly into the ocean that it would fill up the oceans before you'd run out of Chicoms...

I'd heard it before but the troops were all awestruck or befuddled (not sure which) mumbling something to the effect of "Wut the fuck...shit man, guess we shouldn't forget to pack our NBC gear and gasmask then"...

Ah, those were the days...

159 'this is common in Europe'

And in Atlanta. And all major cities I'm sure. This is what crime with no consequences looks like.

160 In NYC it was a sign "No Radio"

Recall from the 80s.

I watch almost all his YouTube things, I liked how he uses math and science to disproves such things as the "solar highway" hyped by the MSM.

162 154 In San Francisco, where no automobile parked on the street is immune
from glass-smashing thieves, some people have taken to posting signs on
car windows announcing that there are no valuables inside.

===

Not just here. The state "decriminalized" this crime by ballot proposition a year or two ago.

Essentially, auto break ins are like a traffic infraction-level offense.

163 In San Francisco smashing windows in all parts of the city? I was planning on stopping there on a west coast trip next year. We were there in 1988, and liked the city a lot. Wife wants to go back. From what I've read here the past few months, it might not be worth a stop...even with a rental car.

Hi there and I haven't seen anything about Kathy Griffin here other than a few mumbles about denying her a visa
I'll check the ticket agencies as now I'm wondering if she's coming here at all

She might have been here and nobody noticed.

166 G' day! I've decided to leave lurking behind and actually present myself as one of the crew from the arse end of the world again. .

Life got hectic but mainly I became addicted to Twitter *gives myself an uppercut *

However I've lurked here every day (felt like a stalker)

Posted by: Aussie at October 21, 2017 08:31 AM (ziaJm)

Well it's very nice to have you back. That there Twitter is an abomination. Even our beloved ace cheats on us with it.

The last time I was there was in 1985. I had a rental car but I left it at the Bart Station in Hayward and took Bart into SF. We walked everywhere which didn't make wifey happy. I wasn't concerned so much with the car as I was finding parking.

169 The Feds are way ahead of you on the 401k raiding front. There are multiple proposals floating around Congress that would limit all 401k tax breaks to a maximum of $2,400 a year.

Anything to get a stealth tax increase.

So our Repuke overlords will allow us to save a whopping $200 a month? How much Tom Donohue manjuice did they chug to get that number? You don't have to be as old as I am to remember when the GOP was in favor of people saving for their future and not depending on de gubbiment. Fucking sellouts, every cocksucking one of 'em.

170 Fort Worth:

A few years back, a truck driver, who also worked as a rodeo cowboy, would show up to order a plate of barbecue.

Now, that in and of itself would not be terribly unusual or newsworthy.

But this particular cowboy was partial to wearing ladies garments. He was a cross-dresser.

Sometimes he'd have on hot pants, a mini-skirt and six-inch stilettos, John told me matter-of-factly.

Sometimes whats old is new!

171 If one ever stands it's ground I'm not sure what I'd do. Haven't thought
through that part of the plan. Probably throw a flying tackle on its
ass.

A deer is a wild animal - its muscle tissue is much stronger per lb of weight than human muscle tissue. A 100 lb deer is about as strong as a 500 lb human weight lifter. You don't think so? Try making the effortless leaps they can make - or try running as fast as they can. Here is a hint - you can't because you aren't nearly strong enough. The males also tend to carry an array of short swords and knives on their heads and know how to use them.

Unless you are armed with some sort of serious long range weapon leave deer the f*ck alone.

I don't think that model needs that costume to look great. If fact, I think she would look great without any costume at all!
