Hillary Clinton: Trump Is an "Admitted Sexual Assaulter," But Allegations Against My Pretend Husband "Have All Been Litigated" and Are "Clearly In the Past"

So, Trump can't be president but Bill, of course -- well that's different.

Hillary Clinton today falsely called Donald Trump an 'admitted sex
assaulter' and compared him to disgraced alleged sex abuser Harvey Weinstein.
The failed Democratic presidential candidate, who received thousands in campaign funding from Weinstein, told the BBC's Andrew Marr 'we have someone admitting to being a sexual assaulter in the Oval Office.'
She was referring to the Access Hollywood tape leaked during the campaign where Donald Trump was heard boasting about 'grabbing women by the p****y' in 2005.
In fact Trump has not admitted he committed sexual assault and said that he was indulging in 'locker room talk'.
Mrs Clinton is in the UK to promote her hand-wringing book about losing the presidential election.

She uses this as an opportunity to blame something else for her Historic, Ceiling-Shattering Defeat -- the fact that the American public "discounted" the evidence-free, 11th-hour campaign hit allegations against Trump.

'There has to be a recognition that we must stand against this kind of action that is so sexist and misogynistic.'
And asked about allegations of sexual misconduct levelled at her husband and former president, Bill Clinton, she said: 'That has all been litigated.
'That was subject of a huge investigation in the late 90s and there were conclusions drawn. That was clearly in the past.
'It is something that has to be taken seriously, for anyone not just in entertainment.
'The really sad part of the campaign was how this horrific tape, what he said about women in the past what he said about women during the campaign, was discounted by a lot of voters.'

Meanwhile, she's in talks to become a teacher at Columbia.

A teacher -- ah, that sounds about her speed.

Although nothing has been officially decided, one option on the table is a “university professor” role, where Clinton would be able to give lectures at a variety of different schools across the U.S., according to multiple sources. Clinton is also considering storing her archives at Columbia University.

Wait, that sounds like she's going to just do what she's doing now -- flying to college towns to deliver shallow, partisan campaign speeches that have no academic rigor to them -- but she wants to draw a steady salary from Columbia, as well as some unearned prestige, in doing it.

And no one wants to travel if they don't have to. This sounds like this crazy, venom-hearted drunk is actually trying to be some kind of "national traveling professor" to stoke up national interest in seeing her run for President again.

I don't think Weinstein was ever interested in doing the hard work of finding talent, but just buying it. Without Disney money backing up Miramax (well, it still was, but he wasn't at Miramax anymore), he couldn't do it his way, so the output of his productions declined.

I think it's a combination of two things.

Corker is very much of a Chamber of Commerce Republican, so if some company somewhere can make an extra nickel out of trade with Iran, they'll support it even if there's major national security ramifications.

Corker has had some very shady business dealings imo with a hedge fund he's a partner at , Pointer, that also has "lended" and donated money to his campaign that's been involved in securities like Fannie and Freddie Mac.

I honestly think he retired because people were sniffing around too much, the guy has had to amend his personal financial statements an absurd amount of times and undercounting his net worth by millions of dollars.

I'm borderline gleeful at the pain being induced on Hollywood right now. Hollywood is largely boring, producing product instead of art (accidentally making some occasionally).

Better to have no center to American filmmaking that controls the American version of the medium.

I watch it suffer happily.

Yep. I suspect they gave him a choice to retire or face a full blown investigation. Deputy dog probably claimed this scalp. Probably have enough to make a case, but politically quicker and cleaner to have him retire.

There's others who are bought and paid for and I expect they'll be getting a similar approach right before their election years.
