It's time for McMasters to go and join the rest of the Obama Holdovers at Obama's mansion.Almost one month after it was disclosed that former President Obama's National Security Adviser Susan Rice was unmasking members of President Trump’s team and other Americans, Trump’s own national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, sent an official letter giving her unfettered and continuing access to classified information and waiving her “need-to-know” requirement on anything she viewed or received during her tenure, Circa has confirmed. The undated and unclassified letter from McMaster was sent in the mail to Rice's home during the last week of April. Trump was not aware of the letter or McMaster’s decision, according to two Senior West Wing officials and an intelligence official, who spoke to Circa on condition that they not be named.Read the letter at the link. Caroline Glick claims that McMasters is attempting to keep the Iran Deal in place (expressly contrary to Trump's position, and the claimed position of most Professional Conservatives), and is openly contemptuous of Israel, referring to it as an "occupying force."
Many of you will remember that a few days before Trump’s visit to Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – ?????? ?????? and his advisers were blindsided when the Americans suddenly told them that no Israeli official was allowed to accompany Trump to the Western Wall.While McMasters zealously protects the positions of Obama holdovers -- indeed, he even called an all-hands-on-deck briefing to tell the NSC that there is no such thing as an "Obama holdover," and that they were all on the team (and, impliedly, anyone suggesting otherwise was off the team -- he fires all the Trump loyalists and those keeping tabs on the Obama Holdovers.
What hasn’t been reported is that it was McMaster who pressured Trump to agree not to let Netanyahu accompany him to the Western Wall. At the time, I and other reporters were led to believe that this was the decision of rogue anti-Israel officers at the US consulate in Jerusalem. But it wasn’t. It was McMaster. And even that, it works out wasn’t sufficient for McMaster. He pressured Trump to cancel his visit to the Wall and only visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial — ala the Islamists who insist that the only reason Israel exists is European guilt over the Holocaust.

He rose from the dead and, is present in the Holy Spirit. I am blessed because God loves me and is with me whatever i go through. "In this world you will have trouble" says the Scripture" which affirms that "all things work together that love the Lord and are called according to his purposes" but if one has to he happy, healthy and wealthy to be considered blessed by God I affirm that is not according to the theology of the New Testament. If you're not Christian you can believe whatever you like, but there are millions of people around the world who are not surrounded by wealthy people-indeed some are dying for their faith. If you don't think people who died for their faith are not blessed by God, check out Hebrews.

Leakers are notoriously hard to find. Washington insiders are very skilled at passing information discreetly to reporters.
What intelligence agencies do (among other things) is slightly alter reports given to each of a very few individuals. Then you compare the leak to who had that specific alteration.
That's kind of hard to do if the person has access to the original event and not a report.

As a life-long Democrat who crossed the aisle to vote for Trump I can not begin to tell you of my concern, day after day about the events in the White House. We seemed to have a fresh start and a lot of bipartisan efforts by such stalwarts as John McCain and Lindsey Graham to move this country forward again.

Do you really think that Susan Rice is showing up at NSA, telling them she 'has her clearance' and can she now freely look at intel? That's not how it works, people.
Having a clearance does NOT mean you have access or a way to get at classified material. Talk to anyone with an active clearance who is out there looking for work. It is just a status you have, and then you get a job, where they assign you to work and give you access at an as-needed basis.
Rice is not working for the WH anymore. Therefore, just because she has an active clearance does not mean she is looking any cleared material.

How do you verify the accuracy of leaks?
Lots of ways. Good old fashioned police work is one, and that's not hard. Contact multiple people, compare their stories, compare those stories to known events, try and get the original information, try and get meta-information (like the Post Office taking pictures of every piece of mail), etc.

Do you really think that Susan Rice is showing up at NSA, telling them she 'has her clearance' and can she now freely look at intel? That's not how it works, people.
Having a clearance does NOT mean you have access or a way to get at classified material. Talk to anyone with an active clearance who is out there looking for work. It is just a status you have, and then you get a job, where they assign you to work and give you access at an as-needed basis.
Rice is not working for the WH anymore. Therefore, just because she has an active clearance does not mean she is looking any cleared material.

You're talking about your experience within a set and designed system. People with clearance letters from highly placed politicians are not the same as someone in the Military doing day to day work within a very regimented system.
Look at what we know about the Sandy Berger incident. He actually did waltz into a highly classified information repository and demand to look at stuff. And he just as casually waltzed out with papers secreted on his person. Not really similar to your experience I'd guess, and yet it happened.

Trump needs to clean house of all generals who ass kissed their way up in Bush and Obama Presidential terms. That is 16 years worth.
Promote younger ones who are loyal first to the Republic, not to globalism, NATO, and god knows what else. Bring back ones who lost their jobs that actually tried to save us from the last 16 years of incompetence and treason.
Start with the military, pentagon and intelligence agencies, etc. Trump should have done it on day one.
Last don't worry about the GOP congress freaking out. Let them...that is all they know how to do, and if they go beyond that then they are finished as a political party.
Maybe we are finished as a country, but it it time we find out who is on whose side now! This is what we elected Trump to do, now do it. He wants his statue...this is his biggest chance yet.

I think a significant part of the problem is the slow pace of appointments in mid-level positions. You don't want to completely disrupt the bureaucracy, especially since the transition is typically timely.
However, given the level of active opposition against the current legitimately elected administration, I believe a complete, immediate SMOD wipeout of all OShithead holdovers is warranted.
PDT gave these assholes 6 months to transition in an orderly manner.Fuck them, and the bureaucracy.Maybe we will find out the effects aren't so bad.

Maybe the appointees are no longer needed. Maybe they didn't have the depth of knowledge required. Maybe certain problems were solved for which these people had expertise. Maybe they were only going to be there temporarily in the first place so Trump has an NSC that was operating - as in, I'll work for you for six months, but then I have to go back to my family, life, etc.

Conventional wisdom isbecause of his book and the fact that it allegedly peeved a lot of the Army brass. However, I think some of his celebrity went to his head. I dealt with him some when he was the CG at Benning and here's what I can tell you:
1. He's forward thinking in how structurally and technologically the Army should move forward. I never got any indications on any social stances, e.g. he-shes in uniform.
2. Someone who worked in the protocol office told me once that his social budget as CG was off the charts and "exponentially" higher than previous CGs. Wine, food, etc for entertaining guests at Riverside was in abundance and it happened often.
3. A coworker was at a meeting during which McMaster berated a CSM for offering a differing opinion. He said he was appalled by the lack of professionalism and self control that McMaster displayed in that situation. He had admired him to that point, but lost all respect after the incident.

I have yet to see anything other than random accusations that McMaster is refusing to fire Obama holdovers. I don't see it. The Higgins firing may or may not have come from McMaster. And it may or may not have been for the reasons that people are saying. But I see a lot of anonymous "people say" reporting and I don't care if it is in the Free Bacon or Examiner or where it sounds a lot like axe-grinding to me.
In April it was all the rage to say that McMaster was a way for Petraeus to really be in charge of the Trump National Security Council. Higgins is a minion of Petraeus - and so, theoretically is McMaster (but I understand they are not so close after Petraeus crashed and burned). So was this Petraeus on Petraeus action? Is it Petraeus on Trump action? I have read that Trump likes Petraeus, but I don't know that is true. I don't know that ANYTHING I read in the papers is true, because it is all bogus.

At that age, I didn't know anything about that kind of creepiness.
But that reminds me of something my mother told me. It's been a long time she told me, but she waited until I was an adult.
I was in the hospital -- 1st grade, I think, getting my tonsils out. My mother slept in the room at night and stayed with me the whole time just about.
Anyway, one night while I was asleep she noticed an ambulance driver stop and look in the door at me sleeping the bed. He didn't know she was there, and she was in chair in the dark.
She said she got the creepiest vibe she had ever felt, sending a chill down her spine. She spoke up and the dude said something and left.
Turned out, years later, he was convicted of child molestation. I went to elementary school with the dude's daughter, and I believe she was one of the victims.

The National Security Advisor is not in the Constitutional Chain of Command for any of the Departments.
He or she is an appointed Advisor... and does not even need Senate Confirmation.
So... any authority they have, is 'borrowed' from the President.... must be delegated to them from said President....

The rest of that sentence refers to classified information she originated, reviewed, signed or received. Not any classified information whatsoever.
I don't know - I yield to no one in my contempt for Rice, and if McMaster is anti-Israel that's disappointing (though a separate issue), but this is probably administrative SOP.
A new National Security Adviser might need to ask his predecessor about things that went on during her tenure. Keeping her clearance open so that she can review at will anything she did seems like common sense.
As satisfying as it might be for that letter to read, "You are hereby stripped of your clearance and I can't believe it was granted in the first place" (the latter being my personal view of Rice) it could create a lot of extra work.

These people weren't communists per se, but saw communism as a vehicle to ride to get where they wanted which was a global government as opposed to nation-states. Said White House Policy was driven by Robert McNamara, who said he was out of loyalty to White House Policy - from Kennedy.
Now McMasters is in a position similar to McNamara, working to promote a policy from a previous administration, with no idea how to actually implement it successfully, and blaming Israel much as McNamara blamed the Domino Theory.
Perhaps he should actually read the book he wrote before he commits the same errors he criticized.
Or rather, perhaps he should read his books and McNamara's excuses so he can prepare his own justifications for the subversion of his office.

Eight years of Obama thoroughly corrupted the Defense Department, possibly beyond repair. War fighters were shown the door and political hacks and progressive stooges were elevated to replace them.
