Claire McCaskill, Who Claimed to Have Never Met With Russian Ambassador, Actually Attended Black-Tie Affair at His Home

Earlier this year, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) claimed she never had a "call or meeting" with the Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak -- "ever." She was trying to make a point in a thinly veiled attempt to suggest a connection between President Donald Trump's campaign and Russia.
"No call or meeting w/Russian ambassador. Ever. Ambassadors call members of Foreign [Relations Committee]," she tweeted.
The Democrat's words are now coming back to bite her. On Monday, CNN reported that McCaskill actually attended a "black-tie reception" at the Russian ambassador's home in Washington, D.C., in 2015.

That's how Air Claire ended up running against the babbling lunatic Todd Akin. Her staff sat down and gamed out all of McCaskill's possible Republican general election opponents and correctly concluded that Akin would be the easiest to beat.

Gym is starting to gain lots of new college girl members. I'm not complaining about this developement. I only wish girls had been that focused and dedicated to fitness when I was in college 10-15 years ago.

Girls on average are way above their male counterparts these days in college. Oh well.

I've knowingly only met one bona fide spy in my life, an old college friend of my Stepfather's who ate dinner at our house once when I was a teenager. Because of his facility with languages, he started out in the OSS in WWII and then spent several decades with the CIA. His first name was Buck. Never knew his last name.

I remember Buck as funny and lighthearted, but easily one of the most nondescript people I've ever met. My older brother and I felt let down because--from what our parents told us about him--we were expecting James Bond. You know: handsome, dashing, debonair. Buck was none of those things, at least not outwardly.

The guy who looks like James Bond is not the spy.
