Here's what I gleaned from the trailer: In the other documentary Gore predicted that the oceans would rise. People have accused him of being wrong on that prediction. Sadly to say, I'm going to be.
My wife has been physically abusive since we married and it's gotten worse. She bruised me up bad in December. I gave it one last shot but filed for divorce. They served her Monday night.
I hate it because I still love her and my Christian faith is not compatible with divorce except in extreme cases.
She grew up in an abusive home but just can't shake it. She's a strong Christian, too.
These are not happy days for me,

I think the Westcoast Building is very cool. The concrete core, which contains the elevator shafts, is loaded almost entirely in compression, which is the strongest mode for concrete. And the steel band "cables" and the bulding frame are loaded mostly in tension, which is the strongest mode for steel. Supposedly, it should be able to shrug off any seismic event that Vancouver is ever likely to experience.

Here is a funny story only kinda sorta about Italians.
I was in Buenos Aires some years ago, when Pinochet was brought up on charges in Spain or something, they were extraditing him, I forget. Pinochet and Spain. Commies in BA were celebrating outside the Spanish embassy which was right by my hotel. All night long, all night.

Anyway, I was headed out of that mess and there was this Alfa Romeo dealer on the corner, and in the showroom was a new (for then) model of Alfa, something I am sure we didn't get here because we didn't have Alfa, and it was bright red and gorgeous.

Blaster, they do ticket, at least in the street, and they have this ginormous "butterfly" they will start slapping on windshields that cover the whole thing and you have to pay a big fee to get it off. They haven't started that yet because they know there are glitches.

I am planning to start my own spring cleaning and donate a bunch of stuff, clean like hell, put a shitload of crap i want later in storage, and re-arrange the furniture. UGH. I have used it with validation only. Thing is that they expect you to start your parking session when you park, but if you are going to validate, I don't think you can add the code to a started session. So you go "bare" for a bit until you get to your destination - and it means you have to go straight there to the validating place.
So, yes, it is nervewracking. Went to the movies and forgot to validate. Guy at the theater said don't worry about it.

no garlic powder but usually a couple of heads of garlic minced. no oregano, thought that was for sauce.
usually 5 habaneros and 5 jalapenos. the garlic, peppers all tossed into the food processor for a whirl. seeds are taken out of the peppers.

Onion: vertical/french sliced makes for a better caramelized onion, which you need to do before the beef.

Hehe, it was a cheap red. Chili should be comfort food, not fancy. I've seen recipes that call for a bottle of beer, but I figured a cup and a half of red wine would do the trick, add a bit of sweetness to balance the heat, and I could drink the rest.

I'm at the age where most females are on their second or third husbands, but because of work and family issues, have never even been close to being married. Living in a blue state and working in a far left industry hasn't helped. However.. not being married has been a surprise for me. But... As a single guy who's never been married, I stay away from divorced women. I've dated them in the past, but usually the kids are the sticking point. It means drama that I don't want to deal with.
Plus single moms generally don't want more kids. I want a lot of my own kids.

The key is the seeds.
Strip out the seeds from the chiles before you grind/blend. Grind the seeds separately or just toss them, and add cayanne at the end of the cook to get the right heat level.
I usually just strip half of the pods of the hotter chilis and I get a decent amount of heat.

Get the big, dried Ancho, Pasilla, and Negros peppers. Cut open and remove the seeds under cool, running water. Put in a pan and just cover with water. Bring to a boil, put on a lid and turn off the heat. Let them sit for 30 minutes or so. Whirl in a blender with the water.
Put this majik elixir into the chili pot.

The peppers mentioned earlier are more chili-type than the ones I mentioned. Listen to CBD and weft on that.
Canned tomatoes are okay. I've used the diced tomatoes from a can and they were good.
Otherwise, use Roma tomatoes because they're "meatier" and don't have a lot of the gelatinous goo. Dice 'em small, roast them on the grill, first, if you can.
That it always good to add depth to the flavor.
Shit, roast ANYTHING WITH A SKIN, put it in a bag and wait fifteen minutes. The bitter skin peels nearly clean.
Peppers and tomatoes, but onions could use a good char.
And don't throw away ALL of the char. It is flavor.
Not that I have been doing this for years and years and years, or anything.

Nah. Those are actually 'fairly' mild. They can be dusty from being dried outside. Hence the washing under running water. I use gloves when processing large volumes of peppers, though.

Yeah, that answer usually leaves the door open a bit and gives the person the opportunity to prove that they're "good enough" for you.
"Deep-seated psychological issues" is really effective at scaring away the ones that just casually interested. Plus, they have the immediate task of figuring out if I'm serious or kidding, and then coming up with an appropriate response.

Also, soak the potatoes in twice the volume of water so as to drain the extra moisture and starch. (sounds counter-intuitive, but it works.) Thirty minutes to an hour.
Dry them on paper towels, to wick-away the moisture.
Fry them in 75% oil and 25% butter and add them last.

The peppers mentioned earlier are more chili-type than the ones I mentioned. Listen to CBD and weft on that.
Canned tomatoes are okay. I've used the diced tomatoes from a can and they were good.
Otherwise, use Roma tomatoes because they're "meatier" and don't have a lot of the gelatinous goo. Dice 'em small, roast them on the grill, first, if you can.
That it always good to add depth to the flavor.
Shit, roast ANYTHING WITH A SKIN, put it in a bag and wait fifteen minutes. The bitter skin peels nearly clean.
Peppers and tomatoes, but onions could use a good char.
And don't throw away ALL of the char. It is flavor.
Not that I have been doing this for years and years and years, or anything.

Yeah, it's a bit much but I have also found that a very short, kind of generic cover letter doesn't get much in the way of responses. At this point I personally would rather share too much than too little.
Having said that... I sometimes (okay, most of the time) prune it as necessary. And I'm always finding a more succinct way of phrasing something in the letter. I imagine Infidel will do so as well. My hunch is that you should send a relatively short cover letter if the job advertisement itself is short, and you sould send a relatively long one if the adveritsement itself is long.
Anyway, thanks yet again for the feedback. I don't want to come off like a used car salesman. :-)

Well, there was a 500 gB Seagate hard drive, not connected, and not mounted (as in fastened down).
Also, a 500 gB Western Digital "advanced format" drive, very tiny, looks like it's for a laptop, also uses Sata cable. Bolted in place, but not connected.
And an EVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTS 3D graphics card. Some sort of gaming gadget, I guess. Anybody here want it? Free to a good home.
