Conspiracy! Robert Reicshhhh Edition

Last night on CNN!!, that adorable gnome Richard Reich, in the manipulative manner that the Left is so fond of, accuses Berkeley rioters of being some sort of Breitbart paramilitary ninjas or something.

“I wouldn’t bet against it,” Reich said. “I saw these people. They all looked very– almost paramilitary. They were not from the campus. I don’t want to say factually, but I’ve heard there was some relationship here between these people and the right-wing movement that is affiliated with Breitbart News.”

I think that calls for a conspiracy thread.

I have heard it said, from many reputable sources, that Robert Reich is part of a super secret society whose sole purpose is to "accidentally" head-butt normal-sized men in the testicles with enough regularity to change the course of evolution.

They call themselves "Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Untermenschen". Their kryptonite is bowling alleys and roller coasters.

UPDATE: Courtesy of Zombie, just look at all those PBJ's destroying Berkeley on their super-secret false flag mission! (credit to Deplorable Male Logic for that acronym.)

These "anti-fascist" mobs, also known as "Antifa", are international in scope. They have operated in Europe for years, breaking up anti-immigration rallies while the police stand by.

Many have speculated that they are organized and paid for by Soros and/or other globalists. If so, they are the shock troops of the New World Order. Note that they are only deployed against people who assert national sovereignty.

They need to de declared an international terrorist organization, because that is what they are.

But then again, I would love to see Robert Reich asphyxiated killed by a Dornish poison in a Game of Thrones episode.

However, I would also love to see Robert Reich eaten and shat out by a dragon in a Game of Thrones episode, and then have the pile of Reich poo raped by Ramsey Bolton.

Then again... Hodor.

112 On Reddit's news subreddit, there was someone from the Berkeley area that said there is a group of anarchists that look like the guys in all black and show up at stuff like this, take it over from the original protestors and cause havoc. Not specific to this event, but for all events where they see the chance to make mischief and burn things and wear Guy Fawkes masks. Does that not sound more plausible than a stealth reich wing troop suddenly forming?

Also on that subreddit, a supposed Berkeley student said the main building damaged at Berkeley was the student union building...paid for by student funds. Would you not be ticked right now if you went to school there, and knew your ridiculously overpriced student fees are now down the drain? Who pays the damages, the students or the school?

In the era of Trump, I am finding the real news broadcasts fake news 24/7. I have learned to really like the News subreddit and The_Donald subreddit. We live in strange times. Despite the fact The_Donald subreddit jokes about Trump being a god emperor, which no, just no, some of the threads are surprisingly informative and full of useful vids and links. And it's refreshing to hear a younger generation of voices red pilled.

Maybe I've watched too many Mission Impossible movies, and wild animal shows, but I'd favor tranquilizer darts on all these perps when they are tearing down barricades and invading. The point is to pair 'conservative speaker' with 'violence and chaos'.

191 This morning on Breitbart Radio on Sirius, Milo was being interviewed along with the guy in charge of his security, who is a former Navy Seal.

The Seal said that the protestors that showed up are the same ones that showed up to the inauguration and to Trump rallies, and previous Milo events that ended up being cancelled due to the mayhem.

He said that he had spoken prior to the event to the police at Berkeley who told him that their orders were that they were to stand by and NOT arrest anyone. That directive came from the administration and safety department at Berkeley.

These riots are being permitted (and encouraged) by the left wing administrators at these colleges. Milo's security guy also added that whenever Milo has spoken at a more centrist or conservative college, the police departments are completely different. They have a location for anti Milo protestors and another location for those who wish to hear him and they are kept separated. Those police can and do arrest and do not permit vandalism and damage. He sad the police on campuses such as Berkeley are completely neutered(his words) and are not permitted to police.

It could also mean that the anarchists are actually really afraid of getting hit back with serious charges, so they go after soft targets that are sympathetic to them.

214 "The actual violence appears to have been done by Antifa folks... who are not necessarily Berkley students."

There's an old and cynical game about how "oh, that splinter movement, they have nothing to do with us, we're peaceful".

See the relationship between Sinn Fein and the IRA.

Or Black September and the PLO.

The "black bloc" have been around for years now, but if you watch closely, you'll see how smoothly coordinated their movements and actions are with the ostensibly "peaceful" protesters.

Especially when the black-bloc types do something extremely violent and intended to provoke the police, then need to get away quickly.

They run routes with the precision of a pro football wide receiver, and there are fellow travellers in those "peaceful" crowds who are prepositioned at particular spots, ready to step aside and let them past.

They come dressed as paramilitary, have some type of shield covered in a garbage bag, and they march in formation as one would see a trained army. It was his belief that these are trained, experienced rioters who expect and want violence and especially when they know there will be no consequences. He said they will march through a crowd of unarmed protestors and assume a defined position in order to begin the violence.

And I would think he would know what he is talking about.

265 So on Jan. 17, just three days before the transfer of power, Obama directed his national security adviser to hand over to the Trump team a paper detailing the plan to arm the Kurds, including talking points that President Trump could use to explain the move to Turkey's president, who officials knew would be furious. The Turks viewed the Kurdish fighters as terrorists and their No. 1 enemy.

Military, defense and security at home and abroad.

Obama hoped that his last-minute preparations would clear the way for Trump to authorize a swift assault on the Islamic State's most important stronghold, where U.S. intelligence officials say militants are plotting attacks outside Syria.

Instead of running with the plan, Trump's national security team deemed it wholly insufficient and swiftly tossed it.

To the incoming Trump administration, Obama's approach was so incremental and risk-averse that it was almost certain to fail. "They provided the information, but we found huge gaps in it," said a senior Trump administration official who reviewed the document. "It was poor staff work."

That's...wrong. I mean worse than wrong, it's a blatant lie. REINS hasn't been signed yet, meaning he can promulgate new (smaller) regs and congress would have to actively stop him. (Even if REINS goes into effect smaller regs would have lower costs so I'm not sure they'd fall under it.

But I honestly though don't think there are 51 votes to just repeal without some bullshit bandaid that's basically going to do the same thing.

Starve it financially - no elective federal appropriations it requires, strip everything you can out via reconciliation, no relief for insurers, no games on "risk corridors" (think those are already stymied).

Insurers are leaving the field, and in many states it is almost dead - i.e., no insurers participating.

Do everything to encourage insurers to cease participation.

Mount a (long over-due) PR campaign explaining the situation and the options, to set the stage to put the Dems - esp. those up in 2018 in the Senate - under maximum pressure. Schedule regular votes for repeal. Make them block it (THIS is the essence of Senate political mechanics, long abandoned by the GOP).

Keep up the pressure.

Trump was made into a monster. Nearly all of Hillary's money got spent on attack ads. Then you add all the cable channels going anti-Trump nearly 24/7 for months, which peaked with Pussygate. It was one of the most expensive branding campaigns in history, but all negative.

This worked somewhat with suburban women, less so elsewhere. If Trump has a good first term, most of this will wash away.

Even ours did...the Boston Massacre...

That incident ends up making the general populace choose sides... like in the French Revolution... or the overthrow of the President of Ukraine a couple of years ago.

Now, knowing this... its entirely possible to create the conditions for such an incident, if you are nefarious enough, and do not care about those you put in harms way.

Look for NASCAR patches at the next protest. It will happen.

It will all come to a head at the Oscars, when Meryl Streep gives the code phrase "the people in here are the real heroes." This echoes Ace's post from yesterday, with a fantasy of the inevitableness (and joy!) of a Bloody Civil War. (And I thought Ace was against the Alt-Alt-Right.)

I used to say that Ace was completely wrong about Trump, but now just say that he's 12 months behind the curve.

We did win an election, didn't we? And we've got a President who's aimed at making a fuckload of changes.

And most of the stuff we're reacting to is a kind of fake news, mostly created by the Left, that obscures that we did win an election and we've got a President who's aimed at making a fuckload of changes.

618 A thought RE: riots.

I had a conversation with my mechanic today about the riots. Guessing that he's either middle or right, and was pretty well informed.

In any case, we talked about rioting and insurance coverage. Many times unless it's written into a policy, it's not covered under general insurance.

The point in all of this? When you're dealing with a small business, it might not be bad to bring up the rioting and note that they're hurting small businesses who are essentially innocent bystanders. Just like the people who are assaulted.

In a vague sense, people are generally sympathetic when an innocent bystander is hurt. However, if you add in the business factor to someone who owns a business, will, it becomes personal. As in "I could be bankrupt for no good reason at all because of thise little college Nazis."

So.

*Like I said*

* strangle it administratively (every discretionary act by HHS, every EO that reasonably could be applied)

* strangle it by inflicting whatever damage you can via reconciliation, without bucking the "germaneness" ruling

* fix your Senate targets (vulnerable '18 Dems, even GOPers), and pound them - start advertizing NOW in their states, leading with the damage done so far - how many people have lost their individual plans/all coverage because costs went up dramatically, how many small businesses failed or didn't start up, how many people shifted to part-time status, on and on and on

Not complicated.

671 I can't follow a thread where having watched CNN, or knowing ANYTHING about any of the personalities on CNN is a prerequisite. I'm just going to continue to hate them all, until they surrender, and then I shall let my henchmen decide what to do with them. But, I have nothing except love and glazed donuts in my heart for them. Even if they are all worthless pieces of joss that should be dragged behind my chariot. But, I didn't mean that the way that it seems. Got nothin' but love for ya' baby!

673 "...I've heard there was some relationship here between these people and the right-wing movement that is affiliated with Breitbart News."

The Hatfield's and McCoy's relationship was the basis of their continued animosity. Human relationships. Sometimes good. Sometimes two groups who mutually think the other side is slightly more evil than Satan and deserving of a worse fate.

674 Robert Reich, you see, is able to recognize each one of the 38000 UC students , even wearing masks, and ruled them all out by process of elimination.

676 Reich has lost it. He was all in for Hillary and can't believe we all gave him the finger. Suck it up, Comrade Reich.
