The Morning Report 11/4/16 [J.J. Sefton]

Good morning, kids. In case you missed it, it's the Friday before Election Day. Expect any Democrat last minute surprises to happen around 3:00PM, after Rush signs off. Aside from a press conference with the entire line of the Rockettes and Gloria Allred, I think they've got bupkes. Conversely, if there is one final coup de grace against Nurse Nasty, I expect it will drop by noon. The Huma Fundraiser was before the latest revelations but the fact that they held it anyway just speaks volumes as to how bereft of character, ethics and morality the Left is.

Lastly, Pat Condell's video is below the fold. Forward it to many as you can. Here's hoping for a triple flaming skull. Ignore the polls and remain blessed.

That is a a little IRS investigative office tucked into a Dallas fed building. I used to refer stuff to them (eons ago when I worked for the state) on side scams run by various regulation targets. They never referred anything to us. It was a one way street but they had a lot of juice. They also extract YUGE fines from guilty parties and then don't prosecute sometimes. So I would think no state stuff but plenty of future fed charges and FINES with penalties. They are experts on fed tax minutia.

One of producer Darryl Zanuck's failures was the 1944 biopic Wilson, starring Alexander Knox as the 28th president. Losing over two million dollars for Twentieth Century-Fox, it was such a bomb that for years, studio employees were forbidden to even mention the name of the film around Zanuck.

I approached the two guys standing next to it and found that the team is in the Cub parade today. It was supposed to be Sunday and got moved up. So now, they are trying to arrange to have some of the horses taken to different venues to be seen and you can get you picture with them. I'm hoping it works out that this store can get one.

I do know the young woman he chained up in that shed was just recently hired by him to clean his rental properties. The police aren't saying yet who the other victims might be, but her boyfriend also went missing when she did and he hasn't been found. His car, however, was found on this 95-acre property my realtor owned. Not a promising sign. Who need a Magic H8 Ball for that question? All one has to do is look at how Obama behaved in office. For example, how he shipped planeloads of our money to Iran, in violation of our laws and despite the fact that we had pending counter-claims against Iran for billions of dollars that now we'll never get.

Obama ignored all sorts of laws and procedures and simply decided that he wanted to send lots of our money to Iran in payment of their claim, regardless of the actual merits of their claim, and regardless of the fact that we had a pending counter-claim against Iran. Obama just decided that he'd be the judge (illegally), and he'd make the decision, and he decided that it was more important to him to do his muzzie buddies in Iran a solid than to allow the legal process in the U.S. to work.

I never look the "average" or the old polls. Most of those old polls were fraudulent. The liberal networks know how to "game" RCP. And I always look for the internals and if there are none given I discard the poll as worthless.

I'm a math guy (engineer to be exact). Never cared for statistics. I like the math behind it, but to get the sample data, it's such a crap shoot. Also, I have a hunch that the MOE reported for most polls is run through a standard probability and not the t-series that should be used for a low number of data points (ex: we polled 400 people out of a state of 9 million - our MOE is 3.2% - Horsepuckey).

Regardless, I'm glad it interests you (really not being sarcastic), because it all seems like black magic voodoo compared to the "normal" math I use.

Further, since the email provider owns the DKIM private key used to generate the signature you can't tamper with that ex-post-facto either.
In the case of a large cloud email provider (like Google) they couldn't tamper with this even if they wanted to because changing the key would instantly invalidate�all signatures that were produced with the old one�for all of their customers. �In other words to protect Podesta or Cheryl Mills in this case they'd have to�screw literally everyone else. So although there may be plausibly deniability on who sent the email, it is easy to check if it was altered after it was sent. It should be noted that as far as I know no one in the Hillary campaign or Podesta has denied that the emails are fakes.

They are counting it as one. There are about 8 or 10 key toss-up States that decide the race every election. NC didn't use to be one but thanks to a huge black vote for Obama and an influx of locusts it has become one. But we are seeing now the end of Obama and NC is likely to go back to being a 5% win for Republicans despite the locusts.

NC is one key state, sure. Zoobama won it on the strength of AA turnout, and the president has been practically living there the last two weeks (Michelle has been doing the same in Philly). If black turnout is down, or if Trump succeeds in persuading some black voters to come over to the side of truth and justice (and both things are probably happening), Clinton will have a very tough night in NC.

But go to 270towin.com and play around with the map. You'll see Colorado or Pa are states that can sway the outcome of this race.

Speaking strictly for myself, I'm a chronic depressive, so doom and gloom are my natural bedmates.

That being said, I think pessimism is a sensible attitude to have concerning this election. As I pointed out above, there is simply too much at stake - including prison time - for the Dems to allow Trump to win this election. If you put yourself in a mental state where you go to bed Tuesday night convinced of a Scankles win, it would make a Trump win all that much sweeter.

And the idio--people who lived there put the wrong fuses so they could run more stuff.

So...simple matter to replace the fuses with a breaker? Which will cost money, of course.

Just wondering what y'all would worry about. Having bought a house once that was poorly maintained, I just know you can find all sorts of crap once you live there. But I know nothing of electrical matters specifically.

I accept that Trump likely has little to no real ground game but I'm not sure that really means what everyone thinks it means. With Republicans defending something like 24 senate seats this year it seems like those senators are going to have pretty prolific ground games of their own which should benefit Trump. Also every house member is up for reelection as well and they will have their own ground games.

The number of total voters will be up in presidential election years versus off years. But does the top of the ticket really have to have the best ground game if down ballot races can pick up the slack? I guess we will find out in a few days.

My biggest problem was getting insurance to cover it. Only Allstate would do it, and they would not do it when I went to sell the house, so I had it updated to breakers.

Mrs. Deplorable TEXIT and I saw it last night. I know I'm a thread or two behind. but here are some quick takes.

1) Hacksaw Ridge is not an anti-war movie even though the hero is a WWII conscientious objector.

2) The movie hammers home the fact that the real-life Desmond Doss was viscerally committed to defeating Japan. You leave the movie knowing that Imperial Japan was a horrible ideology that absolutely had to be defeated.

3) The movie doesn't portray Doss's religious beliefs as a consciousness objector as any more or less heroic than those who went into battle carrying a gun. His path was not a typical path nor is it for everyone.

Anyone who watches the movie and believes that the deep message is War=Bad wasn't paying attention.

4) The long battle scenes make the opening of Private Ryan look like a Sunday School picnic. It shows Imperial Japan as brutal, merciless, and absolutely evil. There's a scene where the hero, Doss, explicitly says that fighting Imperial Japan is the same thing as fighting Satan.
