Today is Sunday, May 08, 2016. On this day in 1980 the WHO announced that small pox had been eradicated worldwide. But it is known that both the US and Russia have a small amount of this disease stored away for "research purposes".

8 Obama gave another one of his lying speeches at one of those "historically black" (euphemism for racist school that gets away with segregation) colleges.

President Barack Obama said Saturday that the country is a better place today than when he graduated from college more than 30 years ago, citing his historic election as one indicator of how attitudes have changed.

But gaps persist, he told Howard University's Class of 2016, citing racism and inequality as examples.

Yes you communist turd, institutionalized racism does exist in the US. At places like that college, the NAACP, the Congressional Black Caucus and you. All are racist black groups who can not do anything unless it involves blacks.

11 The prestigious West Point military academy has opened an inquiry after 16 black female cadets posed for a photo with fists raised in militant style.

The pose struck by the cadets, dressed in their gray uniforms while standing on the steps of barracks in late April, is seen by some critics as an implicit show of support for the Black Lives Matter movement and thus a potential violation of a Defense Department rule against partisan political activity.

BS, there is no "potential" to it. If these had been white male cadets their asses would have already been sent packing home. Yes, this is racism.

That's the power of memes. Find something that speaks to people's pre-existing biases and repeat it over and over again, and it starts to seem more credible, or even true. See also, Trump, "Lyin' Ted". He's trying it again with "Crooked Hillary". But that's more syllables, and New Pravda doesn't want to give him the air time to say it now.

90 I'd say that the definition of insanity is that we went through the same crap with the Republican Party again. We should have built a new party the moment that GWB embraced Porkulus and left the Republicans to wither on the vine. We had the energy and the passion, but the astroturfs convinced people that the vote would matter if they remained in the party.

And now, of course, they will inevitably want to steal the energy again by putting an anti-Trump pro-Amnesty candidate like Romney in as the 3rd Party, making sure that we who were once Conservatives will not get a voice under any circumstances.

(I say "once Conservatives" because we're not. It's time to abandon that label because we'll never get the dishonor that people like Boehner, McConnell, and Ryan have heaped on it washed off. Now they're the orthodoxy and we're the rebellion. Let 'em have the ruined title.)

Ain't for other countries. We just have to convince the Berniebots to split from the Dems, so we can have a 4-way race. We could win in that, and it'd throw the plans of the Democrat heirarchy into total chaos.

Using TrigglyPuff in a sentence gets you about the same knowing look as using Molon Labe in a sentence.

Knowing glances, a hearty hand shake, and open dialog from there on.

And Milo has a pretty strong following as well.

Exactly what I said about memes. They hung a couple of slanders on the Tea Party, took pictures of a few false-flagging SEIU middle-age Trigglypuff types with intentionally misspelled signs, and spewed that crap all over the airwaves and the internet until it reached such a level of saturation that your average Joe 6-pack who doesn't pay attention to politics had a negative image of us.

Find something that confirms a lot of people's biases, repeat it often, and the more people start to believe it without question, the more infectious that believed lie becomes. "Well, all of my friends say it's true, and I can't be bothered to get off the couch..."

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Voting for any Amnesty candidate is a vote for America to go solid blue. The math simply doesn't work. Illegal Immigrants are not natural conservatives, they are lawbreakers from Bolivarian Socialist countries who, if legalized, will vote their policy preferences.

Our elections are already razor-thin, and just giving the Democrats a free constituency like this is nothing short of natoinal suicide. Unless Romney comes out against Amnesty and "pathway" and "electronic border" chicanery (backdoor Amnesty), voting for him is a plan to fail.

152 My Trump apologist screed:
It is taken as a given that Trump is liberal. I'm sure there's evidence for that, like he gave to Democrats, he is socially liberal esp. as regards abortion. Ok, I will take that: abortion is, like 2A for Dems, how we lose close elections. Really, look at the electoral map, all Hillsy really has to do is go sell abortion to suburban moms in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and NoVa. Oh, he's given to Ds in the past? Trump is a businessman. More precisely, he is a property developer. Of course he, like all Fortune 500 companies, plays both sides of the isle. It's an imperative if you want to get any building project going, anywhere. Sure, he's not "genetically conservative," but how disappointed have we been w/virtually EVERY GOP certified genetically pure candidate since RR? A: VERY f'ng disappointed.
Q: Who really knows how he will govern? He hasn't held elected office before, and he can adapt. He knows how to win versus the press and their D candidates and the money machine of Big Bidness. This is the real iron triangle that has to be crushed before any change can happen. Is Trump "The Guy" to pull it off. Who knows, but it will be entertaining to watch.

Independent of Romney being Mormon, the higher-ups in the Mormon Church (and my Catholic) church are full on with the amnesty approach. We pew sitters in both faiths - far less so.

And, the pew sitters actually vote, not the bishops and apostles.

A few thoughts;

Trump is not primarily a property developer - he is primarily a celebrity. Since the 80s - more than 30 years - he has been a tabloid superstar who licenses his name. He is primarily in the same business as other stars like the Kardashians. He doesn't seem to be respected in his field - his bankruptcies were primarily because no bank would lend him money at anything but exorbitant rates because of his reputation and trustworthiness. He borrowed anyway, declared bankruptcy, and left others holding the bag.

Do most billionaires contribute to both parties? I don't know. Evidence would help here. People seem to accept this, because Trump said it, and because not many of us are billionaires. I'd be genuinely curious if this were true.

Trump doesn't know how to "manage" hostile media. He knows how to play to them, to cooperate with them. The minute they stop cooperating, his routine will fail.

To split the hair: I was referencing Fortune 500 Cos., not "billionaires." I'm pretty sure billionaires do pretty much what they want.
My point was more towards the uni-party/4th estate/business connection that perpetuates the boning of the American people. See also: "Establishment."

185 I see Sarah Palin is planning to support primarying Paul Ryan because he hasn't come out in support of Trump.

You know, I'm getting a little tired of the Palin reality show. One would think she would have preferred to stay in Alaska and help her husband with his recovery, tend to her little boy and help her daughter raise her two illegitimate kids so they don't continue Bristol's lifestyle themselves.

I say this as someone who used to defend Palin when she was actually doing something useful for the country and appeared to be a role model for women. She simply seems to be nothing but a rabble rouser/attention seeker in search of a cause now, which is amazing since it isn't like there is a lack of beneficial agendas out there she could work on.

193 #NeverTrump isn't over and Romney has had a big role in it. He's being a snake about it. He could have run this cycle, and could have joined the race after Florida, but he didn't have the balls/ He continues by playing footsie with Kristol about being a spoiler 3rd party candidate and with misleading public comments about Trump's position.

In a commencement address yesterday Romney said: "Demagogues on the right and the left draw upon our darker angels, scapegoating immigrants and Muslims or bankers and business people."

So we're supposed to let Illegal Immigration slide and continue to let unvetted Syrians come in.

Of course Romney is close to Ryan, who's big concern seems to be protecting a few House seats. "Gelding" Trump on his agenda won't work. If Ryan wants to haggle with Trump he should wait until Trump gets elected and Ryan gets re-elected, no?

Romney and Ryan are playing with fire. It can blow up the party by severely killing R turnout in November. If so, Goodbye GOP. Supposed party stewards should know better.

204 Cloward and Piven were notorious professors who developed a political strategy in 1966 to overload the welfare system to create a fiscal crisis to start the Revolution. Their campaign -- basically telling Blacks they'd be better off going on welfare than working -- helped drive up NYC welfare rolls substantially which contributed to NYC's 1970s fiscal crises. Giuliani cut welfare rolls substantially, which benefited everyone, which was copied by Bill Clinton on the federal level.

Cloward taught at Columbia so I've often wondered if Obama took any of his courses.

Cloward was also the brainchild behind Motor Voter laws.

209 "None. Flush him." Finally something we agree on.

Also note some links on the right that aren't anti-Trump including one on Clinton Cash.

The following are remarkable facts, and if unaddressed it'll confirm that we're a banana republic.

The Clintons left the White House "dead broke" but are now worth at least $150 million but have had no honest way to make that kind of money. If you think for a moment, you can only conclude influence peddling.

The link on the right references the deal whereby a Friend of Bill Frank Giustra orchestrated the sale of half of the US domestic uranium supply to Russians allied with Putin. This needed SoS sign-off, which Hillary provided, while at the same time $150 million in known donations went to the Foundation and Bill got his richest speaking fees. Not mentioned is that Giustra is a front for hiding the identities of 1,000 donors to the Foundation.

Vienvenidos a Argentina!

I once liked Ryan but no more. On the policy front, why should I go along with my future SocSec payments getting cut by a dime when so many are robbing the country blind. Now I see that Ryan isn't a sincere policy wonk, he's a weasel.
