Good Morning Morons. Today is Tuesday, April 12, 2016. On this day in 1831 soldiers marching on the Broughton Suspension Bridge in Manchester, England caused it to collapse. This caused royal Army to issue orders that when marching across a bridge to break step. That practice has also been adopted by the American military.

The Bible is on the list of most challenged books at libraries and schools compiled by the American Library Association. Mostly due to complaints from militant atheists who hate religion in any form and do not want anyone else to practice it either.

Hundreds protest in DC over money in politics and a few other odds and ends such as voter ID laws. 400 were arrested. Note that it appears these are all Democrat based groups. Yes, they want money out of politics, but in fact they want Republican or conservative money out while liberals, communists, and unions continue to feed money to liberals and commies.

Obama wants more money to fight zika mosquitoes from congress who is debating that now. Hey crap-weasel, you seem to be able to find billions to send to 3rd world shit holes for the AGW scam. I have two recommendations for you that are more effective. Number 1 redirect that AGW scam money to zika and two lift the insane ban on DDT. But that will never happen primarily because Obama doesn't give a damn about zika, he just wants another slush fund.

Liberal idiot judge allows eco-Nazi suit against the government to proceed. Their suit says the federal government is not doing enough to fight global warming. More proof that liberal idiots in black robes do not give a shit about actual law. There is no way on earth this suit should have been granted standing because there is zero actual proof of harm to the plaintiffs which is a requirement for standing in federal cases. In trying to find out who nominated this turd to the federal bench I was unable to get his sponsor, but I did find numerous ridiculous rulings in favor of liberal causes. So judge shopping?

Today's lectionary reading from the Orthodox church is from Proverbs 15:7-19. Some portions
"A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance" (vs. 13) and "All the days of the poor are hard, but a cheerful heart has a continual feast" (vs. 15) And this note4 from the Life Application Bible: Our attitudes color our whole personality. We cannot always choose what happens to us, but we can choose our attitude towards each situation. The secret to a good attitude is filling our mind with thoughts that are true, pure and lovely, thoughts that dwell on the good things in life (Phillipians 4:. This was Pauls secret as he faced imprisonment, and it can be ours as we face the struggles of daily living. Look at your attitudes and then examine what you allow to enter your mind and what you choose to dwell on. 4 Fox rediscovers that the push behind the $15/hour minimum wage is coming
from the unions, primarily the SEIU. What they do not say in here is that the unions have automatic pay raises tied to the minimum wage through sweetheart contracts with cities and States. In CA, at least, the unions are pushing for an exemption in the $15 minimum for anyone under a CBA; in other words, for union members. So they push for the law then want an exemption. Sounds right. There aren't 857 dead, that's the number shot in Chicago in the first 100 days. As of yesterday, there were 908 shot and 165 total homicides. The solve rate is hovering around 15% ytd. And the Hispanics are now making up around 25% of the shooting victims, with almost all the rest being black. Gee, I wonder how many of those are illegal aliens? Sigh. "When it comes to getting delegates, it's the wild west. Pretty much anything goes."
That's a quote from the Washington Post article today about what the rules are concerning what lengths a campaign can go to trying to get unbound delegates to vote them. The answer is: Pretty much anything. So, for those who want to look at this primary in the harsh light of reality, here are the facts. There are bound delegates who have to vote for the candidate on the first ballot and unbound delegates who might be "promised", but who can vote for anyone. All of Trump's delegates are bound. All of the delegates who are "promised" to Cruz in Colorado, North Dakota and Wyoming can change their mind at any time up until the moment of the first ballot. Trump can fly these people down to the Caribbean for a week or two of "conferences", along with their extended families, introduce them to people who may be interested in hiring the delegate or family members at some point and interview the delegates to see if they would be suitable for a high office in the Trump administration. (Hint: they would be) All the while, Trump can yell at rallies that the Establishment GOP has rigged the system and is disenfranchising voters in states without primaries. Perception is reality. They claim checking criminal records is discrimination against racial groups. Why isn't checking racial records discrimination against criminals? Disparate Impact is usually just another way to lie with statistics. For example, if the Flemish are approved for home loans 99% of the time, and the Walloons are approved 98% of the time, you could say that almost everybody gets a home loan. Or you could say Walloons have a rejection rate twice as big as the Flemish, bigot! The answer is for politicians to order banks to make risky loans. And when it crashes, blame those banks for making the risky loans politicians demanded. That would never happen in real life, though. A vacation to North Carolina isn't in the cards for me, but if some cis-normative knuckledragger wanted to purchase a product made in North Carolina, what might said miscreant purchase?

Not a derm, but get a lot of eczema and rashes in our family. Usual first suspect would be contact dermatitis - something irritated the skin (and may be continuing to). Or something irritated it and now you are in an itch scratch rash itch scratch rash cycle. If it's itchy - have you trued gold bond powder for the itch? Or ice. 154 You know, I'm starting to wonder about this "ruling"
- the only source is a press release from one organization , the Judge retired back in February, and there's no mention of said case on that court's website... Posted by: Anon a mouse... at April 12, 2016 08:03 AM (C9pBZ) They did link a pdf of the judge's actual ruling. He stretched the "standing" argument to the ultimate rewritten rules disregarding credibility to beyond the limit. The ruling is amazing, it actually quotes the requirement for federal standing and then says they are met based on his opinion of global warming impact on future generations. Also, I in my research on this judge it looked like he retired from the federal bench but then was appointed as a "magistrate judge" most likely though shenanigans of liberal Democrats who loved his stupid non-law liberal rulings. 157 The standing issue is one of my grievances against the Federal government, basically unequal accesss to the judicial branch.
Posted by: Make America Great Again at April 12, 2016 08:04 AM (LXJ1e)\ As demonstrated above liberal judges will turn inside out to give standing to liberal actions while issuing lack of standing orders in a one sentence blerb to case dismissal for conservative actions. Trump is very good. Until he opens his mouth. I suspect there are a lot more Trump supporters, including delegates, who know the bloom is off the rose with him.
We shall see. We shall see. Posted by: J.J. Sefton at April 12, 2016 07:46 AM (p4UlV) ------------ I was thinking the same thing about Cruz supporters. Posted by: Make America Great Again at April 12, 2016 08:24 AM (LXJ1e) 173

Interesting that Trump rally's in NY (especially upstate) have been very large, in Buffalo they are moving to a larger place to handle the crowds. The MSM in NY is pushing Bernie and only writing about Trump when they have to.
The newspaper in Rochester at least was honest (unusual) but the TV websites only showed the protestors.....interesting times. Posted by: Colin at April 12, 2016 08:30 AM (6IZ5e) 176

Yet it's not under PACER as a criminal procedure, which tells me it's civil - in other words, a stunt with no real teeth... the entire thing is one hundred percent bovine scatology (which will unfortunately garner much press) Posted by: Anon a mouse... at April 12, 2016 08:33 AM (C9pBZ) 177

Dakota and Wyoming can change their mind at any time up until the moment of the first ballot. In Florida, we can change our minds after the ballot. Posted by: Chad Hanging at April 12, 2016 09:20 AM (sOhww) 182

JJ, if you did any sanding of the resin, that fiberglass dust will definitely irritate the skin. And get in any place.

JJ, by any chance is it where you wear your watch? Could it be a nickel allergy?
Also, just go to the pharmacist and ask them what to put on it. It will probably be an OTC cortisone cream. All the doc will do is give you a stronger cream and maybe cortisone shot. Posted by: Bruce With a Wang! at April 12, 2016 07:59 AM (iQIUe) I concur to look into the nickel allergy thing. Also, cortisone creams tend to contain ingredients like lanolin and the parabens that can aggravate rashes and negate the effects of cortisone. I can't use them for a longtime issue with dermatitis that occasionally flares up. Try the Cortaid spray. It contains alcohol, so it'll sting for a minute. Honestly? Rashes have to be seen to be diagnosed. Ask a pharmacist?

Trump owns the media. The media owns the republicans. Trump is the last stand against total capitulation. Why otherwise decent conservatives can't see this is purely due to elitism. Truth hurts. Own it then help fix this mess. Posted by: jacke at April 12, 2016 01:18 PM (CMthJ) Processing 0.04, elapsed 0.0416 seconds. |
