Good Morning Morons. Today is Saturday, January 09, 2016. On this day in 1349 the citizens of Basel, Switzerland rounded up and burned the entire population of Jews in the city. Some 600 Jews were burned to death in a barn because the citizens just knew that the onslaught of the plaque was caused by the Jews. Of course after that they stole all the Jews money and assets.

The arrest of two more ISIS terrorists among the so-called Syrian refugees brought to the US has provoke renewed calls to end the importation of these slugs by Obama. Of course he will ignore these calls since they have taken away all their ability to fight him on anything. He can do anything he wants because there is no opposition Party.

The VA has demoted two senior officials who scammed the system to get $700,000 in fraudulent payments. A Republican lawmaker is asking why they were not fired and prosecuted. The answer is simple, Obama's corrupt DOJ will not prosecute federal wrongdoings or they would be prosecuting the entire executive branch.

And lastly regarding Gov Abbot's proposal to remedy the abuses of the federal government. He is missing several items that are very important that need to be added to those changes. First of all he needs an enforcement mechanism WHEN the government ignores the constitution, which is what we are missing now. I would include the ability to impeach members of congress by the voters of all the States when they ignore the constitution. We have seen the total inability of congress to police its own members. And second the Supreme Court needs to be taken away from the federal government all together. The justices should be appointed by the States and the States must retain power to remove them.

If there is an identifiable population group in the world who should be able to justify a bad attitude, failure to thrive and a "You owe me" attitude throughout history, it would be the Jews. Yet amazingly, thee is not a more loving, helpful and caring group in the world. Those pics of the IDF women? Yes, they are sexually attractive. I mean, damn, they are smokin' hot. But, there is something that goes far beyond physical beauty about them. Something that goes beyond a sexual attraction. You see it in their faces, and their eyes. It's a love of life itself. Osama bin Laden revealed the truth about Islam when he said words to the effect that you (in the west) worship life while we worship death.
That clear division of values is why we can't allow these people to immigrate to this country. Day after day they bring death, or plot death, or put people in the hospital. The Muslim woman at the Trump rally was staged political theater, a manufactured controversy. So tired of the whole routine.
The Left has also been driving illegal immigrants to GOP candidate events so that they can cry and ask if they really want to deport them/their parents. Did it to Walker a while back, and also Cruz. They usually have a press person involved so that the exchange is captured on film. I had watched that Trump rally and had no idea what the big disruption was. Neither did Trump, as is obvious to anyone who watches the full video. He just heard his supporters start up the Trump-Trump-Trump chant that they use to drown out protesters. (The crowd in Vermont clearly didn't know to do that, which is part of why that rally got so out of hand.) But in SC, Trump was craning his neck trying to see what was going on, and kept repeatedly asking what was going on, but with thousands of people yelling back at him at once, there was no way for him to decipher the answers.
So now at least that mystery is answered. Posted by: WhatWhatWhat! at January 09, 2016 08:00 AM (HMt16) 119

Regardless of the origins of Jew-hatred, it does seem a convenient thing.
People who are smart enough to know how to work hard, save money, and invest wisely are always detested by those who are lazy, confused about budgeting, and jealous of worldly success. Jews as a rule have been prudent financially, which the ignorant consider unscrupulous and mercenary. As Vic's history item shows, this makes killing them and taking their stuff, for whatever excuse, a handy, if short-term, source of wealth for the lazy and unwise. If Burt Lancaster would not work with Wayne, it was
probably more actor's ego, who was going to get first billing, that sort of thing, more than Wayne's politics. I'd be interested in hearing MPPPP's take on this... Posted by: The Oort Cloud - Source of all SMODs at January 09, 2016 08:37 AM (AYY6Y) Lancaster was a raging lefty commie piece of shit. And he sucked as an actor. It was like watching a 2x4 act. Posted by: TheQuietMan at January 09, 2016 08:47 AM (45oDG) I watched the two versions of The Killers recently. The first featured Lancaster, and as is always the case in Burt Lancaster movies, he played Burt Lancaster. The second one featured Ronnie Raygun in his final movie, with a ton of other stars. I thought that movie was exponentially better than the earlier version, but people somehow rave about the first, and somewhat dismiss the second. Lee Marvin has one of the lead parts, and his sidekick in the movie is Clu Gulager. Gulager was interviewed years later, and had many interesting things to say. Including how often Marvin showed up drunk on set, and that Marvin would rip essentially everyone else in the cast (except Gulager, of course... at least not to his face). So Marvin is talking about how much he can act circles around Reagan, and decides to play a little "trick" on Ronnie. There's a scene they have together, and Marvin decides after each take, he's going to say his lines differently, and he keeps making up reasons why he wants to do another take. Every time, Lee Marvin does the line a little differently, and every time, Reagan replies with his lines...PRECISELY the same way. Like a freakin' pro. Gulager said it pissed Marvin off so bad, but he never messed with Reagan anymore. Posted by: BurtTC at January 09, 2016 09:18 AM (TOk1P) 191

For what it's worth, I don't think Gulager was necessarily ripping Marvin for his behavior... except maybe unprofessionally being drunk on set. Still, Marvin is his typical great self in the film. I think the part about him talking about other actors on set (including at first treating Angie Dickinson like she was some non-acting bimbo) was more fragile ego than anything else. Dickinson earned Marvin's respect when a particularly harrowing scene between the two of them had Dickinson needing to bring full expressions of horror and tears to her character, and apparently with each take she nailed it. I'm sure he worked with many many lousy actors, and probably got tired of it. It was one of the first movies to come out after the end of the war, so it was a lot more realistic than movies made during the war which were heavy on the propaganda. It's probably been mentioned, but the Jews were the original bad asses of the ancient world. They've been a surrounded people from the time of Moses, and got very good at fighting foreign conquerors, as well as themselves. Not even Imperial Rome could truly conquer them, they were merely subdued for a period of time, with puppet dictators and all kinds of special treatment. I'm trying to get worked up about this, but it's a single missile. I guess the Cubans could try to reverse engineer it, but they would be using parts form a '55 Chevy. When the Shah fell, the Iranian AF had Phoenix missiles which theretofore had a 100% kill ratio. To raise cash, they sold some to the Russians who were then able to spoof them. Spoof one, spoof all is the saying. So we had to redesign the targeting to get around that and the new one was not as effective as the old one. It's a Big Deal at the time, though of course the Phoenix is now retired along with the F14. I was at the Janesville, WI post office last week and the people at the counter were pleasant, courteous and eager to help. NYC? Not so much. YMMV Posted by: J.J. Sefton at January 09, 2016 10:39 AM (zLP1L) What are you still doing up?? You're sick. Get your punk ass to bed. Posted by: OregonMuse at January 09, 2016 10:50 AM (/rMpO) 431

Sefton at January 09, 2016 10:39 AM (zLP1L) You got that right. One of the post offices here locally is everything you'd expect from a government office, combining the efficiency of the DMV with the customer service of a welfare office (/sarc). I avoid that one at all costs. Another post office, closer to my house, is professional, efficient, and the counter help is extremely courteous. I get in and out of there in a minimum amount of time. So... guess which one they're going to close this year? Posted by: OregonMuse at January 09, 2016 10:55 AM (/rMpO) Posted by: DaveA at January 09, 2016 10:56 AM (DL2i+) 433
The interesting thing about the Philly situation is that the black Chief of Police, who was impressive, had absolutely no qualms about saying the attacker was a Muzzie inspired by ISIS, while it's the pasty white mayor with the line of PC bullshit.
It made me wonder if Philly has a situation like we do in Milwaukee with the nominally Democrat but completely un-PC straight talking sheriff Dave Clark who is frequently at loggerheads with our pasty Commie mayor, Barrett and much of the Dem city establishment because Clark dares to tell the truth. It absolutely drives libs nuts here that a black man like Clark has strayed off the PC Plantation and they can't do a damn thing about it because he's popular and wins his elections by a wide margin. Those other actors steevy mentioned were known Democrats/Lefties, but William Holden was not.
He was a Republican, and was best man at Ronald Reagan's wedding to Nancy. He and Ron remained good friends (even though Holden was a drunk) until Holden died in 1981, as I recollect. I would say the default for most actors nowadays is they are Democrats/Lefties, as that is the fashion in Hollywood, like wearing an onion on your belt. #227 #224 the building didn't just "burn down". Philly PD set fire to it, dropping incendiaries from a helicopter.
