Greenberg headed AIG from 1968 until he was pressured to step down in 2005. During the 2008 financial crisis, the Federal Reserve rescued the multinational insurance company with a bailout that grew to nearly $185 billion after it virtually went bankrupt and the government took control of roughly 80 percent of the company.
To much public ridicule, Greenberg filed a class-action lawsuit against the federal government in 2011, arguing that the Federal Reserve had overstepped its legal authority during the bailout. He won the case in June but was awarded none of the $40 billion he sought in damages.

These are two people that aren't just personal friends. I worked with one and then post law-enforcement worked with another on some related things. So, these aren't anonymous people. These are good friends. Both of them told me the same thing, that after her speeches, whether she did a talk or a policy speech, she had to sit behind -- she would come off the podium backstage -- and have to sit and rest before making it back to the car because she was so fatigued, dizzy and disoriented.

Eh, the spy was Moe Berg. Not Hank Greenberg. Berg wasn't much of a hitter, but could apparently speak multiple languages, and did indeed go to Japan on a barnstorming tour, taking photos all the time, with the Japs having no idea what he was doing.

Actually, Jeb!'s Advisor's(?) Strategy is rather interesting.
They were clearly coordinating with the questioners in the last debate-
to give Jeb! the opportunity to use some pre-written soundbites that made Jeb! sound "strong and alpha maleish".
Then all of the commercials Jeb! has made since then (at least that I've seen) feature one or more of these fake AWESOME JEB! MOMENTS-
like "you can't insult your way into the white house".
It's an interesting strategy in that it simultaneously attempted to rewrite the history of the debates-
and gives the LIVs a false picture of Jeb! as anything but a soft, low-energy, privileged, little mama's boy.
The big problem is that that people who vote in the primaries are primarily (heh!) those who are interested in politics and watch the debates.

I don't know how they determined it but Obama carpet bombed Virginia in 2012 and it worked. On TV, no matter what channel (Food Network, etc.), cable or over the air, Obama had ads on every break. Romney only had ads on the news networks and then only at certain times.
It seemed like a 10:1 ad ratio in Obama's favor.

My youngest got her DL four years ago and had to have original stamped certificates for ID.
Since then, IL went to online to accommodate illegals to get them to get insurance. Total and utter nonsense.

Interesting tidbit: the Cherokee nation began issuing photo IDs to tribal members in 2014. Because of the proofs required to be a tribal members, the TSA accepts that ID in lieu of a state issued driver's license. I got mine. I don't know that I would go to the trouble of giving it to a TSA agent considering that I went to the trouble/expense to get a KTN. My one sister might. I will have to ask her.

What I'm suggesting is that the grandchild of two illegal immigrants would technically be eligible become President.
I think Cruz is eligible since as you point out, his mother was natural-born American.
HOWEVER. If we are going to get into the technical weeds on issues like this, the question I pose is only a matter of time -- especially in view of political correctness, open-borderness, et. al.
Since we've had this issue around for at least 40 years, the actual citizenship of anchor babies can't be all that far off from the discussion.

Not sure about that one. We treat them that way, but iirc it is not "settled law", as babies of illegals has never been tested directly. Kim parents were here legally ... I forget the other "precedence". A bill that grants them citizenship may be different than "natural born" ... but I don't know all that jargon.
But isn't the idea to change the anchor baby=citizen thing, to change the law in congress and then test that in the courts? So they don't need to change the amendment, if that works?

I didn't. When I was in undergrad I worked in a hospital. Male nurses everywhere... it gets very old. I had to file a sexual harassment claim against a guy. Had a stalker, back in the day.
No thanks. It would be one thing to have people pay you compliments. It's another to be looked at like a piece of meat. I know lots of the ladies know what that's like.
