I do hope, and soon, Europeans wake the hell up. They seem so hopeless. Probably a large percentage of the women attacked were on the welcoming groups at the train stations, with food and clothing for their attackers.

A lot of the trains arriving from the west -- France, Belgium, and now with the Chunnel, the UK -- first stop at Colognae as their first German station. So everybody gets out and exits the train station to look at the world-famous Cathedral, which is just a few steps away -- across a plaza.
So I, and most other tourists, know this spots very very well. It's symbolic as the "welcome mat" of Germany.

American liberals and establishment 'pubs explicitly state that they do the work Americans won't do and occasionally 'pubs let it leak out that these people are needed to prop up Social Security.
Whether they cloak it in fine rhetoric or say it out loud, the whole reason for all of this is that the welfare state is unsustainable.
When the welfare state is first implemented, it seems to work fine. Very few people apply for benefits and shame keeps more from doing so.
But eventually, notions like Social Justice lead people to believe they are entitled to benefits. And, the more who receive benefits, the less stigma is attached to it.
Eventually, we become like Rome, where citizens refused to join the legions. They enjoyed bread and circuses while resentful foreigners did the hard work of the empire.
The ideals of the Republic long forgotten and the middle and upper classes awash in decadence, they kept expanding citizenship and the franchise until no distinction was left.
There was no cost to citizenship, but no benefit either.
It's being done -- all of it -- to prop up the welfare state.

My working hypothesis would be that some fetuses become incompletely differentiated psychosexually in utero owing to either a deficiency of the appropriate hormones, or a lack of response (from, e.g., few or deficient hormone receptors) to those hormones.
That would explain why male homosexuals are often stereotypically effeminate in behavior; all fetuses start out female, and differentiate into males under hormonal influence in utero.
But that's just a hypothesis, i.e., a WAG.

Well, I have no idea under what circumstances you mentioned eugenics, but there's a big big difference between simply noting that evolution occurs in human populations versus advocating involuntary evolution (i.e. through forced birth control or marriage prohibitions, etc.).
If you said, simply "Eugenics happens naturally under positive-feedback scenarios" then no harm in that; if you said "We should forcibly impose eugenic frameworks in society," then I could see how you would have been challenged. Presumably, it was the first option.

That's not quite it either. It's a self modifying process. Culture arises from certain tendencies, but the humans arising from that culture will weed out those that do not tend to conform to the cultural norms. Thus what may have started off as alien norms imposed by a minority (ie. invading Muslim army), ends up being an actual genetic tendency in most of the population, due to generations of selective breeding.
Like breeding show dogs, except the breeding is self imposed. The initial dogs had desirable traits, but interference from breeders also played a role in the final result.

Sherry...maybe once they try to ban pork the Germans will wake up? I mean, kicking me out of an apartment for refugees would have sort of done it for me, as they have done to make room for the million or so pitiful refugees. There are no jobs for them, either. It is going to get interesting and so grateful I am not there.
I think I read (I admit to having holiday amnesia) that Switzerland was turning a ski resort into a refugee hell hole. Hopefully they will take the lifts and gondolas down as they'd probably go up them backwards on their prayer rugs.
The closest I came to yout was a few years after 9/11. We were in NYC and, after the theater, saw an empty cab and grabbed it. We did not know that the muzzie driver had just been ripped off by some college students. He went, oh, 90mph through town to hotel. It was one of the times I used a seat-belt in a cab. Record time. I think it was that trip, too, that a cabbie stopped a few blocks short of destination as he had to pray. No plans to return to NYC in immediate future, either! We came several times before and post 9/11, we saw, we are done.

It was interesting - well, a bit interesting - to read the comments at the NY Times site about this story. Even many libs were saying, it's madness to let these people into Europe.
I got the feeling though, that they might be saying that because they just love visiting Europe - or their daughters, Chloe and Zoe are over there for their junior year abroad -and they want them to have a nice time. Since the late 40's, traveling in Europe has felt a bit like moving around a safe, pretty museum - one with real people living in it but without real threat or menace. All that bloody history was in the past. Well, now it looks like History is returning to the Continent with a vengeance and the upper -middle class white women and their snowflakes are suddenly faced with reality.
I note they don't seem to express the same fears for the masses coming over our borders - because that's where they get their cheap nannies and gardeners from.

Please understand, I'm not anti-Muslim or even necessarily against Muslim immigration as long as they assimilate and follow the local customs. You and I wouldn't participate in a conspiracy to rape. I don't know why they are allowed to get away with it but do understand they think it won't be prosecuted vigorously because it hasn't been in these two cases.
