13 I thought I'd repeat what I put in the last thread.

It looks like Steam's been hacked and I'd hold off on attempting any activation, transactions until they've given an all clear message. Also there's reports of the same for EA's sight.

Now the Steam community site has been taken down.

And maybe Steam hopefully took the sales "cart" down too in order to prevent purchases using hacked accounts but I predict lots of po'd customers trying to activate games on Christmas.

Mostly I worry about cc info that might of been compromised but if they were capable of that I'd guess they'd keep it all quiet instead of the big mess their making.

The next door neighbor is cooking up something that really smells good. Probably post sometime tonight in the deep labyrinth of Undisclosed Location. It will be really slow, holidays usually are. The coworker will want to watch the NBA. Bleh, totally indifferent to the NBA and now that they have hitched there wagon to some gun grabbing fascist group, I have even less interest in watching.

41 ace, rdbewer, Maet, CdrM, all the co- and guest-bloggers, and the Horde- Merry Christmas!

Bright, sunny, breezy, and low 60s (a bit chilly unless you're in the sun) here in SoCal. Beautiful.

Tonight after dinner at a sibling's (prime rib, potatoes, broccoli, 1,237 kinds of incredible home-made Christmas cookies) hope to cruise a few neighborhoods to enjoy the lights.

Posted by: rhomboid at December 25, 2015 04:16 PM (QDnY+)

42 I was out one morning, before dawn, and saw what looked like an entire, 40' fir tree covered in green and red pin-lights right out to the ends of the branches.

I was looking at that trying to figure out how the lights were strung, and then I realized it was a laser projection of two lasers and a splitter grid.

My next wonder, since it was a shotgunning of lasers at the sky, was how long it would be until a pilot at the local field started complaining about being lased, since we are on one of the approach paths.

46 Downtown park has a "fantasyland of lights," really cute displays, with twinkle lights portraying various Christmasy things, some animated, like Santa stuck in a chimney, the 12 days, snowman melting, angels, creche, reindeer leaping over the road. Went through there once earlier, and was hoping to go through again after some snow, when it looks best.

Lasts until the 30th.

Alas, starting tonight we get days of rain, followed by "ice pellets" (what we used to call "hail"), followed by hard freeze, followed by cold, clear days. Yuck! Don't think we'll get to see it under real snow. Maybe.

The kids and visiting dogs are gone. The cats are leaking back out of their hiding places. (Tough Guy cat what thinks he's a dog never flinched.) A few moment's peace.

Milady is cooking again. Mole' sauce, for something with dinner at daughter's house. You can roll me home after that.

Merry Christmas again, to all'a y'all.

What was Donkey Kong thinking? Did he really think he was going to get away with shooting someone in a mall? Besides the tens of wits there is also the escape problem. And did he really think the cops were not going to shoot him dead when he refused to put down the gun? So, at best he could hope for is a long stint in prison if he had lived. Maybe he missed prison? 3 hots and a cot and a poke in the butt -- what more can a young gangbanger want? I use to think it odd that people would choose a gang life with prison without possibility of parole over women.

There was a really cool Impressionist exhibit in San Francisco some years back, where they had a Pointillist piece by Seurat, surrounded by the studies he had done of the people in the picture.....which were conventionally painted.

74 The final year of president lightworker o'clusterf_ck is going to be one for the ages.

A dizzying combination of

1. laundry list of how the oppressed subjects have failed him

2. the first tiny inklings from rebel "journalists" that maybe just maybe everything about him is a lie and he's an affirmative action hire

3. unconstitutional governing on a scale stalin only dreamed of

4. the lapdog media doubling down to maintain the lie ie their "narrative" - as they always do

5. terrorist attacks

6. "syrian" "refugees" bringing the Sweden / UK style rape and violence epidemic to the heartland

7. mysterious deaths around the clinton crime family - it's what they do - for example wouldn't want to be a private secrethttp://acecomments.mu.nu/?post=360758ary, email manager or financial arranger for the witch or her vile daughter

8. the nadir of American potency in foreign policy - the Popeye "I can't stands no more!" moment is coming for the freeborn American people.

9. ISIS triumphant

10. Trump assassination attempt. He's bucked the status quo and he isn't quitting - the status quo will buck him back. I still think the most likely patsy for the hit is Bergdahl or someone like him. Bergdahl is a "returned defector program" alumnus and they are usually the ones used.
