And wonder of wonders I think I have solved the problem of lockups. It was the mouse after all and what threw me off was the replacement mouse I tried to use was also bad. After I put a third mouse in it seems to be working fine.

I am using a wireless right now that I had upstairs. I never have liked it because unless you remove the batteries when it is sitting idle it eats them in a hurry. I plan on a trip to Walmart this morning to get a new wired mouse.

What the heck? People in my immediate family give more than that just in a month. Last year, our church received roughly $1,400,000 in charitable giving. That doesn't count the Christmas offering, which was $85,000. And we are a very blue-collar church with mostly families who have a lot of kids. We certainly aren't full of millionaires. Just ordinary people who tithe. And we should be on some government list for that?

During Monday's press briefing, State Department spokesman John Kirby denied that US Secretary of State John Kerry had accused the PA of incitement.
During Sunday's Saban Forum address, Kerry had said that "the Palestinian leadership should stop the incitement and condemn terror attacks."
He also specifically noted PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas's role in the incitement. "He made some very incendiary comments, which I called him on," he said. "I was very direct with him about the al-Aqsa Mosque [Temple Mount - ed.]. And there was some very inciteful comments made."
But Kirby denied this ever happened Monday.

What an interview. Chris was HORRIBLE to Trump. Interrupting. Talking over him. Editorializing. And Trump pushed back getting all of his points across. He was fantastic. For the first time since 9/11, I've seen a North American politician state out loud what needs to be said.
Europe's probably going to be exterminating their Muslims within a generation. People can only be pushed so far when given no voice. It was honestly exhilarating to hear ON *NEWS* what many of us have been saying for so long.

Not sure it's a good idea to carry a gun in your purse ladies....they say women put the purse in the grocery cart and then shop... often leaving the purse somewhat unattended when leaving the cart to get something off of the shelves...
...also some little kid shot his/her mom with her own gun at the store because mom wasn't "in charge" of the weapon...kid went in the purse and pulled the trigger while he/she was sitting in the cart-purse was in the cart...I think the mom died. Very sad.
Please, if you carry...have the weapon on your person or in your coat or fanny pack worn on your person and be aware at all times of it....children will be curious...thieves will do their thing as well...
Situational awareness is a MUST at ALL times. Carrying a gun is not something to take lightly.

Asked who was calling, when the guy said it was such and such I said that he'd called the scene of a murder and the person he was calling (me) had been butchered in a rather grisly fashion. I said I need to know his relationship with the deceased and where he was so I could get him in for questioning.
He told me he was in India, so I said "OK, well we have contacts with Interpol and New Delhi. Where in India? Or should we continue with the phone trace?"
He hung up. I haven't had any scam calls for awhile now. Pity, I enjoy playing with them.

Anyway, dropping the boots off with the HR person running the gift thing, I found out the family's backstory. They were a two-income middle class family. The husband works in a warehouse, the wife was an x-ray technician. But about six months ago, she had to quit her job to care for their epileptic daughter and it's made things tough for them.
It's really a blessing during the holidays to be able to help people like that.

While I don't know the guy personally, he seems to be a bit like me: a problem solver.
Perhaps I'm of a different breed, but I tend to like things that work properly as they were conceived and intended to work. Things like cars, airplanes, bridges and stuff like that there. It's become increasingly clear that our political system isn't working as it was intended and unscrupulous politicians use that as an excuse to
1. Not fix a problem
and
2. Gain power from a problem.
Considering my working background where a problem with what you're working on could result in someone's death, I tend to take that rather seriously. So yeah, I want problems fixed to where I don't every have to even think about the problem again. Such a thing is possible, but today's sorry excuses for politicians don't see it that way.
I know that the physical world has limits and is somewhat easier to control than the world of political ideas, but the principle is the same, and worked quite well for us for a long time.
Rules exist for good reasons.

Obama is taking no new action, except stepping up his ongoing gun control efforts (not terror-related) and upping his lectures on the American people. They talk about the impossible ALL the time - just look at their unconstitutional proposals to out law guns or use the nebulous "no fly list" to ban random people from possessing guns. They do this with every issue.
So often the Left/MSM set the narrative and we get frustrated that no one in the GOP questions their premises, they just play along as if what the Left wants is reasonable. Along comes Trump, making extreme proposals that, get this, make us question the premises/narratives laid out by the Left. I do know he was dating some woman who became wealthy suddenly becoz her daughter settled a medical claim. Possible he met the girls through that stuff.

When ISIS is saying that they will hide amongst the refugee stream, the only sane thing is to halt that stream until you can come up with some credible way to prove that you aren't simply allowing foreign fighters in.
