Krautman's take on Scankles' lies.
CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: That's They knew it was a terror attack. They got it from Gregory Hicks, who was on the ground in Tripoli who told them that. He had ended up demoted in the State Department for having transgressed against the Secretary. And yet, they go ahead, they put Susan Rice on that weekend. And tell a tale that is completely false. Spontaneous demonstration, out of control, et cetera, of the video. I think that's where the emphasis ought to be. http://bit.ly/1PFB7F3 Posted by: Vic-we have no party at October 23, 2015 06:56 AM (t2KH5) 16

Gay Independent Irish Senator David Norris told the Seanads upper house that yes, they should, during a debate over the marriage equality bill on Wednesday evening. The bill, which has passed the Dáil and today passed its second stage in the Seanad, will undergo more debate at a committee stage tomorrow before it goes to President Michael Higgins to be signed into law. Today is the birthday of Sally O'Neill, a silent actress who had a short-lived career in the 1920s and is remembered, if at all, for the 1925 film Sally, Irene and Mary, with Joan Crawford.
Stage fright and a weak voice more or less killed her movie career when sound came in, but she was a popular entertainer in vaudeville and on USO tours through the 1950s. She died in 1968. http://goo.gl/YoZjUX Posted by: Mary Poppins' Practically Perfect Piercing at October 23, 2015 07:02 AM (X6fMO) 34

Cox, who has been making big strides in Hollywood lately, can now add another milestone to her list of recent accomplishments: Not only is she the first transgender person to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy and the first to receive her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds, shell now also be the first transgender person to prance around in her underwear on network TV in a role made famous by Tim Curry. Perhaps the New Conservative Congress can propose a sort of Missouri Compromise on gay marriage: you can only marry your cousin if you're gay, and you can only marry gay if it's your cousin.
The first vote ever cast in North America by a black man was in a strategy meeting of the Lewis and Clark expedition (which originated in Missouri, sent by Thos Jefferson). The man's name was York, and he was William Clark's property. A woman also voted in that session. We call her Sacagawea. Mr. Scott was played by a Canadian named James Doohan. He was a true badass: he took out 2 enemy snipers on D-Day at Juno beach before being hit by friendly fire, taking six rounds from a Bren gun. 4 hit his leg, one amputated his right ring finger, and one to his chest was stopped by a silver cigarette case his brother gave him. He went onto become a pilot, and was deemed "the craziest pilot in the Canadian Air Force. I love this:..."he once slalomed a plane between 2 telephone poles, 'to prove it could be done'". He used the Scottish accent b/c he thought Scott's made the best engineers.

Said Norris to the Seanad: "It wouldnt take a feather out of me if two cousin married each other, whats the problem with that. Really?" ________________________ The main reason for incest laws is to prevent genetically defective babies, so it sort of makes sense. A couple of gay cousins aren't going to be birthin' no babies (of their own biological origin), so why shouldn't they marry each other? Of course, then you have to extend the same privilege to gay siblings, who also can't have babies together. And hey, if gay brothers can marry each other, then why can't a gay father and son marry each other? And that, Nate, is the problem. It's called a slippery slope, and it leads to all sorts of nasty places that no civilized society should be willing to go. Posted by: TrivialPursuer at October 23, 2015 07:34 AM (a31sM) 84

Scankles will not get the Dem nom. The Party is beating the bushes trying to find anyone who will run rather than her. The Party leadership hates her skanky ass. Remember the Dems have some major super delegates so they can swing the convention in any manner they want. Recall that that is how Obama got the nomination to begin with. The super delegates and States with caucuses gave it to Obama despite Hillary winning more primary votes (48% vs 47%).

I like the F-16. We've really gotten our money's worth. An F-16 took some ground fire in the Iraq Theatre the other day, and made it home (ISIS of course claimed they shot it down, because the pilot jettisoned the drop tanks). And, we have moved in A-10's (surprise, guys!) that were "on maneuvers" in Greater Europe.
The F-16 is just fine launching remotely-guided munitions, for that system of ground support. When you have an airplane that's specifically designed for close support, you use that. It's not proofed against the newer hand-held AA weaponry, but why risk losing an F-16 to pissant small arms fire? F-16 and A-10 were both championed by the same little group, which, oddly enough, has been remembered as the Fighter Mafia. Posted by: Stringer Davis at October 23, 2015 07:44 AM (xq1UY) 101

166 By Joseph R. Sizoo, former President of New Brunswick Theological Seminary, the oldest seminary in the United States-Quoted in "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" by Dale Carnegie
Years ago, in a day of uncertainty and disillusionment, when my whole life seemed to be overwhelmed by forces outside of my control, one morning quite casually I opened my New Testament and my eyes fell on this sentence, "He that hath sent me is with me-the father hath not left me alone." (John 8:29). My life has never been the same since that hour. Everything for me has been different after that. I suppose not a day has passed that I have not repeated it to myself. Many have come to me for counseling during those years, and I have always sent them away with this sustaining sentence.. Ever since that hour when my eyes fell upon it, I have lived by this sentence. I have walked with it and found in it my peace and strength. To me it is the very essence of religion. It lies at the rock bottom of everything that makes life worth living. It is the Golden Text of my life. Posted by: FenelonSpoke at October 23, 2015 07:53 AM (No/ki) 113

Since we can't reproduce, what does it matter! It should be legal... I'm being oppressed! ____________________ 83 The main reason for incest laws is to prevent genetically defective babies, so it sort of makes sense. Clinton done, Democrats hint they may quit Benghazi panel Please do. You wasted all of our time. http://bit.ly/1GvaQ9z WASHINGTON (AP) -- House Democrats are signaling they may quit a Republican-led committee investigating the 2012 Benghazi attacks after Hillary Rodham Clinton endured a grueling interrogation by GOP lawmakers at a marathon congressional hearing. "We have learned absolutely nothing," Rep. Adam Smith, D-Wash., a member of the panel, said of Thursday's contentious 11-hour hearing and the 17-month investigation that preceded it. We've learned a lot. Denial is a painful thing to watch. Posted by: artisanal 'ette at October 23, 2015 08:26 AM (qCMvj) 181

Female Writer Calls Mass-Produced Kitchens 'Sexist' I honestly don't even get this. "The specifications of American kitchens are actually sexist," argues Rachel Arndt, an MFA candidate in the University of Iowa's Nonfiction Writing program, in an article published in Quartz and The Atlantic online magazines. "By standardizing the kitchen, designers also standardized women's bodies, creating a space in which only a person with a specific body shape could be comfortable," Arndt writes in The Sexism of the American Kitchen Design. "Standards crept in to guide not just activities,' Arndt says, "but physical objects too. And modernist aesthetics--simple forms with little ornamentation, clean 90-degree angles--became the norm." http://bit.ly/1jYnGmj Does she know what "standard" means? So, this happened yesterday. The NYT turd reporter who broke the Rubio speedboat scandal tweeted out his discovery that CSPN required Dems and Repubs to phone in on different phone lines to discuss Benghazi hearings.
"Telling", he said, as if it illustrates some enormous gulf in American politics. That's right, the NYT political reporter assigned to Congress has apparently never watched CSPAN before and didn't know that is the standard practice. On top of that it came out this same guy, who criticized Rubio for his ski-yacht also just bought himself a new apartment. Cost? $1.1 million. He's not just stupid, he's also a douche! I'm 6'7"' and any serious cooking session results in major back pain.
Right there with ya. I'm "only" 6-2. The stamped and folded edges of Mom's "Youngstown Kitchens by Mullins" kept me out of the food-prep business for years. When we put a kitchenette in upstairs, I stripped them and sprayed them "stainless," built the room(ette) around them to save my scalp, and now they're like a collector's item. Some of those stamped galley rigs had rounded, streamline-moderne corners, but not for us. Kaboom. You want to spare your back, just cook around a campfire. Real workout for the old squat muscles, though. My real and honest complaint is that La Stringereuse is, while not exactly Tall, 2 inches about average for modern wimmins, and even in a newish kitchen, she gets the same back strain you or I would. The Montgomerys were one of the border clans back during the reiver days, though it is difficult to tell there being so many Montgomerys. And I'm not fluent in place names as every cross road, hill, and plain has its own name.
The Montgomerys came to the colonies, and a General Montgomery was killed in the battle of Quebec while fighting on the US side. There were many Scotsman who settled in West (By God) Virginia leading me to wonder if the Hatfields and the McCoys were clans from Scotland. The one point that always amazes me; if you want the clan name to live on, you have to have sons, a lot of sons, who have sons, and so on and so forth. So Morons, hie thee to thy field and plow it.
