Morning, 'rons and 'ronettes. I've told this story before, but I like it:
During one of his television programmes, Jimmy Durante's guest was the elegant, classic beauty and MGM star Greer Garson. Durante was in awe of her ladylike bearing, and issued strict orders that no off-color jokes or bad language was to be used in her presence. During rehearsal, the two were going over a piece of business in the script. "Foist I say dis, and it gets a laugh," Durante told her, pointing out an exchange between the two. "Den you say dat, and it gets a laugh." "But what if it doesn't get a laugh?" Garson asked. "Den," The Schnozzola replied, "we both go down da terlet!" Here's a leggy photo of Garson, a costume from 1942s Random Harvest: http://goo.gl/CrU6rb And here she is in 1951s The Law and The Lady: http://goo.gl/YoozQO Hope you all have a wonderful day. Those news reports are about Marines leaving Yemen are being cleaned up as only the democrats can manage.
Now the weapons were 'rendered inoperative' by removing the firing pins, as though ISIS can't buy replacement parts to 'render functional' those abandoned weapons. Which, by the way, were not 'handed over to' any rebels. Though some news reports, (I wonder if we can trust those news reports as so often early reports are incorrect, or later reports are edited to remove 'sub optimal' details) state that weapons were left with 'various people' at various places around the air port. Which is to say, the US Embassy in Yemen was abandoned, along with weapons left behind. So basically, we ran away, bravely before something bad happened. Obama's greatest success, so far. Long list of participants with a profile and heartfelt message from each about why this is so important, Save The Earth etc.... In reality most of them seemed like nice, fairly intelligent people but they are absolutely delusional about global warming. I'm sure every one of them are convinced climate change is a much greater threat than, say, Islamic terrorism or our enormous debt if they are aware at all. That poor dog yesterday. Not only does he have to put up with 50 cop cars with lights and sirens chasing him, his owner shoots himself in the head. And being the good little dog he is, he waited till the cops open the car door, ran out, and then took a crap. Had a hell of a time catching him tho. He wanted to go back into the truck but their was a guantlet of police blocking him.

That also means, white, black, republican, democrat, independent or anything else you can come up with voted for the amendment. And some Federal judge somewhere negated their votes. And if a college degree is an indicator of future success, we should evaluate the 'success' of career decisions and commands made by college educated people in order to derive some empirical data as well. Lots of Ivy League colleges represented in the higher levels of civil service in general and the current administration in particular, not to mention the MSM. A college degree doesn't mean shit of you can't apply the knowledge (if any) that is imparted by your college. All it does is demonstrate attendance. Right now I'm watching old Grey's Anatomy I put on DVR yesterday. With shipping, that Auto Match .22 from Cabela's works out to $3.50/50 rounds, which is all right by me, even though the first box I ever bought was 50 cents, and Dad said "See that? Every time you shoot one, it costs a whole penny."
This is a rare-ish find, middle-of-the road quality rounds demonstrably better than that goshdarn Golden Bullet for the same price. I used to figure that bargain-basement .22 (Thunderbolt and Lightning, now often thought of as premium) should be around $2/box, and bought a lot of it when I had whole range-fuls of beginners. The best you'll do in the current market distortion is about twice that. Dang. Be careful with your ordering from Cabela's. They certainly are a decent firm, but they have a small-print "replacement" policy that, more than once, got me same-caliber but more-expensive ammo without so much as a fare-thee-well. Just a question of priorities, not a knock on them, but I'm a cheapskate and so are you. Posted by: Stringer Davis at February 12, 2015 08:32 AM (xq1UY) 213

The Southern Poverty Law Center has announced they have removed Dr. Ben Carson from their extremist file.
In an unsigned statement released on Wednesday, SPLC said, In October 2014, we posted an Extremist File of Dr. Ben Carson. This week, as weve come under intense criticism for doing so, weve reviewed our profile and have concluded that it did not meet our standards, so we have taken it down and apologize to Dr. Carson for having posted it. Though the statement goes on to laud Dr. Carsons contribution to medicine, his philanthropic work, and his personal story, they still believe his views should be closely examined. SPLC insists, Dr. Carson has, in fact, made a number of statements that express views that we believe most people would conclude are extreme. Yeah NO fuck you SPLC. Your the extreme ones. @232 Glad to hear that. My problem was with .380, and you know how that is.
I have a healthy stock of wheel-weight lead -- my uncle once owned some land he leased out to car-dismantlers. I think I could rad-shield a bunker, if I got ambitious enough to pound it out flat. Little tip for those who haven't cast bullets, and may be thinking about it: used lead can be a lot harder than store-bought soft bullets. It anneals from the process of firing and impacting. Usually not an issue for practice or target rounds (know your backstop, though!), but if you're making specific-purpose warheads, you might want to look into some hardness-testing and alloying techniques. Ask around. Posted by: Stringer Davis at February 12, 2015 08:46 AM (xq1UY) 255
