You're not going to believe this, but Capitol Police will not be charging a Democrat staffer for sticking his ins-erection into another guy's antechamber in the Senate Hearing Room.
'For now, we are closing the investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding a sex video that was recorded inside the Hart Senate Office Building on the morning of Wednesday, December 13. After consulting with federal and local prosecutors, as well as doing a comprehensive investigation and review of possible charges, it was determined that - despite a likely violation of Congressional policy - there is currently no evidence that a crime was committed. Although the hearing room was not open to the public at the time, the Congressional staffer involved had access to the room. The two people of interest were not cooperative, nor were the elements of any possible crimes met. The Congressional staffer, who has since resigned from his job, exercised his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and refused to talk to us. Our investigators are willint to review any new evidence should any come to light.'Weird, the feds had no problem making up crimes to charge all the J6ers with. Apparently "parading" is a crime. Did this guy not parade his wang into the other guy's mouth? No Democrats are ever charged, ever. On the other hand, they firebombed the offices that John Hindraker works out of, along with other conservative groups, and I'm sure the FBI will be giving this all the same priority they've given to apprehending the Capitol pipe-bomber.
I wasn't entirely forthcoming in this post about why I haven't written much the last few days. It is true that I have been in Washington, mostly to attend the Michael Mann v. Mark Steyn trial. I will write up my thoughts on the trial (or at least, those portions I have seen) when I have time. But something else has been distracting me: leftists firebombed my office last Saturday night. At around 2 am, they broke into the building that houses Center of the American Experiment and two other conservative organizations with which we often collaborate, along with many other businesses. The arsonists set two fires: one was in the first floor corridor between American Experiment's office and the space we sublease to Take Charge, Kendall and Sheila Qualls' organization. A second fire was set on the third floor, immediately outside or perhaps actually inside the office of the Upper Midwest Law Center, on whose board I serve. This photo shows what the corridor outside my office looks like:Remember when we used to live in a First World Country? I liked that. That was nice. Thanks to The ARC of History! Remember when third world revolutionaries toppled statues throughout the US and basically The Regime applauded them for vandalism and destruction? Well, someone cut the head off a statue of SATAN and The Regime reacted as you'd expect The Regime to react when something sacred to them has been desecrated: They charged this particular statue-defacer with a hate crime. A hate crime! For cutting the head off a Satanic statue!
A Mississippi man accused of destroying a statue of a pagan idol at Iowa's state Capitol is now being charged with a hate crime. The statue was brought to the Capitol by the Satanic Temple of Iowa under state rules allowing religious displays in the building during the holidays. The move drew strong criticism from state and national leaders, including Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds and Florida Gov. and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, both Republicans. On Dec. 14, the figure depicting the horned deity Baphomet was "destroyed beyond repair," according to the group. Michael Cassidy, a former congressional and legislative candidate from Mississippi, was charged the next day with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. He told the conservative website The Sentinel that "my conscience is held captive to the word of God, not to bureaucratic decree. And so I acted." Now, Polk County prosecutors have charged Cassidy with a more serious offense, the Des Moines Register reported. A document made public Tuesday charged him with felony third-degree criminal mischief. It alleges the act was committed "in violation of individual rights" under Iowa's hate crime statute. "Evidence shows the defendant made statements to law enforcement and the public indicating he destroyed the property because of the victim's religion," Lynn Hicks, a spokesman for the Polk County Attorney's Office, said in a statement.Satanism, she means. The Babylon Bee put together an Infographic explaining what kinds of statues you are and are not allowed to deface or destroy:
America is closing down soon. Plan accordingly.
Yes: Thomas Jefferson, known bigot and slave owner

This is a corporate relations lawsuit. Bob Iger was on a campaign to undermine his successor Bob Chapek, and frequently attacked him through the media and also claimed -- when Chapek had only been CEO for weeks -- that Iger had come back to rescue Disney from covid.
He did all of this because Chapek was not running DEIsney the way Iger wanted it to be run. He was gone for weeks before he began lobbying the board of directors for a return. Then came the Parental Rights In Education Bill, and the leftwing presidential-nominee-hopeful Bob Iger could not resist attacking Bob Chapek for his position of neutrality. He rallied DEIsney's Woke Gender Warriors into an insurgency, and Bob Chapek relented in the brief social media war, and committed DEIsney -- as Bob Iger demanded -- to pursuing a Groomer Agenda. This resulted, as could have been expected, in Ron DeSantis asking the Florida legislature to revoke DEIsney's special -- and illegal, frankly -- Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID). This District, which gave a corporation control over a huge chunk of central Florida, never should have been granted in the first place. Even after its granting, it should have been almost immediately revoked, because the RCID was granted with the belief that DEIsney would be creating a one-of-a-kind planned community, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, or EPCOT. This was supposed to be a planned city built with Walt Disney's ideas of wholesome perfection in mind. But that was quickly abandoned and DEIsney just built another theme park, Walt Disney World, on the site. The pretext for granting DEIsney corporate control over the businesses and residences of the area was no longer present, but DEIsney got to keep its lucrative perk. And it was very lucrative. For example, the RDIC could issue bonds with the usual tax-free advantage that municipal bonds have. But the RDIC was just a pass-through fiction controlled by DEIsney, so DEIsney could issue what were effectively corporate bonds, but with the special tax-free status that municipalities are granted. Thus, DEIsney could offer corporate bonds with a lower rate of return and people would buy them up, because the tax-free advantage made that lower-paper-rate-of-return a higher rate of return when you included the effects of taxation. (Or non-taxation, as it were.) Bob Iger had therefore made a selfish, suicidal decision to undermine Bob Chapek and commit DEIsney to a toxically unpopular Groomer Agenda just to claw his way back to power. And when that maneuver resulted in DEIsney losing its special status -- a loss that observers estimate will cost DEIsney more than a trillion dollars over the decades -- Bob Iger had to scramble. He had to reassure investors that his narcissistic groomer gambit actually wasn't such a bad move at all. He filed a lawsuit which was nonsense from the moment ink touched paper claiming that the Florida legislature had no right to create or destroy special districts, despite the black-letter law stating that only the Florida legislature had such a right, and could exercise it at any time. But the lawsuit wasn't a real lawsuit -- it exists just to convince Bob Iger's leftwing backers that DEIsney has a special right to hold hundreds of acres of central Florida as its own corporate fiefdom in perpetuity, and that one day, this eternal right to rule will be recognized, so DEIsney will not lose a trillion+ dollars due to Bob Iger's filthy scheming. Because this was a corporate relations project, Bob Iger whispered Gollum-like in the ears of his leftwing media allies that this was a suit with a huge amount of merit, and would almost certainly prevail, and his leftwing media allies repeated this thoroughly-stupid, uninformed, ignorant claim with great vigor and repetition. But all along, anyone who knew anything about Florida law -- or Florida special district law -- or the law in general, period -- knew this was a complete loser of a lawsuit and would be dismissed at the earliest opportunity. And so it came to pass. What all informed observers said would happen, did happen, and what the ignorant leftwing propaganda media vowed would never, ever happen happened so fast and so hard that Fani Willis inquired if it was available for sidework. Most of the fake lawsuit was dismissed for "failure to state a congnizable claim" -- that is, even when the court takes every allegation DEIsney makes as 100% true, they still have not announced any basis upon which they can seek relief from a court. As a special bonus, some of the lawsuit was dismissed for... lack of standing.John F. Trent, and I think the "F." stands for "Fuck You, Bob Iger, you rotten c*nt":
United States District Judge Allen Winsor dismissed The Walt Disney Company's lawsuit against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the State of Florida. The Walt Disney Company sued Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the State of Florida, and other Florida government officials in a 77-page document back in April 2023. The lawsuit alleged that the State of Florida's decision to dissolve the Reedy Creek Improvement District violated the Contracts Clause of the United States Constitution, violated the Takings Clause of the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, violated the Fourteenth Amendment's Due Process Clause, and violated the company's First Amendment political speech. The Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger attempted to justify the lawsuit by positioning the company as a victim. During the company's Q2 2023 Earnings Results webcast he said, "First of all, I think the case that we filed last month made our position and the facts very clear. And that's really that this is about one thing and one thing only, and that's retaliating against us for taking a position about pending legislation. And we believe that in us taking that position we are merely exercising our right to free speech."Legal Mindset points out that it is black-letter federal law (black-letter meaning top-of-the-page, main-point law) that if a legislature is empowered to do something, and if it acts with what appears to be superficial comportment with the law and constitution, then you're not allowed to sue the legislature to compel it to do what you'd rather it do. This is obvious, when you think about it. Legislatures are always favoring one company or another through their laws, sometimes directly, but more often, indirectly. If any time a corporation wanted an advantage granted to another corporation, it could just sue and say "We're being discriminated against," then the legislatures could basically pass no laws at all. This may sound pretty good to some of you, but obviously, this is not the law as it stands. DEIsney knew this when it filed its fake lawsuit, and all the corrupt media should have known it, too, or could have known it if they just contacted a real lawyer about this instead of relying on representations made by Bob Iger and his paid flacks.
... Judge Winsor specifically addressed the First Amendment claim writing, "'As a general matter, the First Amendment prohibits government officials from subjecting individuals to retaliatory actions after the fact for having engaged in protected speech.' But it is settled law that 'when a statute is facially constitutional, a plaintiff cannot bring a free-speech challenge by claiming that the lawmakers who passed it acted with a constitutionally permissible purpose.' The Eleventh Circuit has 'held that many times.' And this settled law forecloses Disney's claim." He also noted, "In short, Disney lacks standing to sue the Governor or the Secretary, and its claims against the CFTOD Defendants fail on the merits because 'when a statute is facially constitutional, a plaintiff cannot bring a free-speech challenge by claiming that the lawmakers who passed it acted with a constitutionally impermissible purpose." ... Legal analyst Andrew Esquire predicted dismissal was highly likely in an interview on the WDW Pro channel back at the end of June 2023. He said at the time, "For Disney, the nightmare scenario, the worst possible scenario, which is a likely scenario, I don't want to give exact probabilities, but it's something that could very much probabilistically happen is the federal case gets entirely dismissed. It gets entirely thrown out. There's multiple reasons. The reason cited, one of the main reasons which I have said from the beginning on this which is Disney does not truly have standing. They do not meet the elements for standing. Standing means the ability to bring a claim to court." "This is exactly the reason that the citizens who actually sued the state of Florida for these legislative changes way back earlier this year, they were thrown out for standing. Disney also can be thrown out for much similar grounds," he explained.DEIsney is continuing to embarrass itself by pumping out more fake theories to justify its fake lawsuit.
According to Blog Mickey, a Disney spokesman stated, "This is an important case with serious implications for the rule of law, and it will not end here. If left unchallenged, this would set a dangerous precedent and give license to states to weaponize their official powers to punish the expression of political viewpoints they disagree with." He concluded, "We are determined to press forward with our case."Suck my dick, DEIsney. You're probably into that, though. Below, Legal Mindset clowns the Mouse.

Three Americans were killed due to Biden's grant of carte blanche to the terror mullahs of Iran, to attack US troops 160+ times without any reprisal.
Biden's plan was just to hope these relentless attacks never managed to kill any US troops. Hope is not a plan, as you may have heard, and now three Americans are dead. David Strom writes that even the c***s***er New York Times admits that Biden's refusal to check Iran encouraged them to keep attacking us until the took American lives. The New York Times has an analysis written by Peter Baker that exposes just how feckless the Biden Administration has been in dealing with Iranian proxies. The lede makes it blindingly obvious that Biden and his administration knew that American troops would get killed. Yet their responses to the nearly 200 attacks on Americans since 10/7 have been "carefully calibrated"--read weak--in the vain hope that showing restraint would somehow, magically, prevent the day that Americans would die from coming. Now that American blood has been spilled, Biden can indulge his favorite past-time: Lying about Beau Biden being killed in honorable combat.
It doesn't work like that. When you signal to an enemy that they can attack with impunity, they will. Biden had made it crystal clear that Iran could direct its proxies to attack Americans without paying a price--even its proxies haven't paid much of a price--so of course, Iran took the opportunity offered them.
This was the day that President Biden and his team had feared for more than three months, the day that relatively low-level attacks by Iranian proxy groups on American troops in the Middle East turned deadly and intensified the pressure on the president to respond in kind. With three American service members killed and two dozen more injured by a drone in Jordan, Mr. Biden must decide how far he is willing to go in terms of retaliation at the risk of a wider war that he has sought to avoid ever since the Oct. 7 terrorist attack by Hamas touched off the current Middle East crisis. Until now, the president had carefully calibrated his responses to the more than 150 attacks by Iranian-backed militias on American forces in the region since Oct. 7. He essentially ignored the majority that were successfully intercepted or did little to no damage while authorizing limited U.S. strikes focused mainly on buildings, weapons and infrastructure after attacks that were more brazen, most notably against the Houthis in Yemen who have targeted shipping in the Red Sea.
Let that sink in. At no point in this conflict has Biden done anything proactively to give Iran pause and to induce them to rethink their strategy. They knew Iran was going to bring things to this point, yet they struck buildings and ignored anything thrown at us or others if no damage was caused.
Advertisement Yet if they throw enough stuff at us, something will hit. Something did.

Top Republican Tom Emmer calls for Ethics Committee investigation into Squad's Ilhan Omar following her controversial 'Somalia first' declaration that sparked outrage and demands she resign from Congress 'Sleep in comfort knowing I am here to protect the interest of Somalia from inside the U.S. system,' Omar said according to a disputed translation Emmer said Ethics should probe Omar for House rule: 'A Member of the House shall behave at all times in a manner that shall reflect credibly on the House' By Morgan Phillips
A top Republican is demanding the Ethics Committee probe Rep. Ilhan Omar over a speech where the Squad progressive allegedly declared she is 'Somalia first.' According to one translation of a now-viral clip of remarks Omar made in Somalian, she said her allegiances lie with Somalia over the U.S. 'We are an organized society, brothers and sisters, people of the same blood, people who know they are Somalis first, Muslims second, who protect one another,' Omar said, according to a widely circulated translation of a clip. Following massive backlash and calls for her to resign or even be deported, House GOP Whip Tom Emmer is demanding an ethics investigation into her 'appalling' rhetoric. According to a letter obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, Emmer asked the House Ethics Committee to probe whether the Minnesota Democrat had violated Rule XXIII, clause 1, which states: 'a Member of the House shall behave at all times in a manner that shall reflect credibly on the House.' Omar claims that translation is not accurate and that 'propagandists' are twisting her words.
'No sitting member of Congress should be able to blatantly spew anti-American rhetoric and get away with it. I am demanding an ethics investigation into Ilhan Omar's appalling, Somalia-first comments to ensure that she starts taking her oath of office and commitment to the 5th district of Minnesota seriously,' said Emmer, a fellow Minnesotan, in a statement.

I could take a guess. I don't want to say what my guess is, but it rhymes with vancid ragina.
Business partners of District Attorney Fani Willis' alleged lover Nathan Wade, whom she appointed to work on the case against former President Donald Trump, made donations to her campaign before receiving lucrative contracts from her office. Terrence Bradley, Wade's former partner, and Christopher Campbell, his current partner, have collectively contributed more than $5,000 to Willis' campaign, contribution disclosure reports show. Moreover, both men have each raked in tens of thousands of dollars from contracts with the district attorney's office, according to county records. Campbell is a partner at Wade & Campbell Firm, where he works with Wade. Bradley formerly worked with Wade at Wade, Bradley & Campbell Firm, and also represented Wade in his divorce case until Sept. 2022. ... Bradley made three donations to Willis' campaign: $1,000 in June 2020, $550 in October 2020 and $2,500 in June 2023, according to campaign disclosure reports. Meanwhile, the district attorney's office paid Bradley $74,480 between May 2021 and June 2022, according to county records. It remains unclear what work he was doing during that period.
Well, I guess we all know what he did for his money. I didn't edit that in. A "taint attorney" is charged with removing privileged documents from a file before handing it off to prosecutors -- clearing it of "taint." Nah just kidding, a taint attorney's job is to pleasure a bulldog-shaped woman's gnarly taint. Duh. Meanwhile, CNN reports that Fani Willis will not recuse herself so she's going to the hearings set for mid-month with a plan of refusing to answer questions about her paying her Stallion $654,000 for sexual services, claiming that it doesn't matter who she pays to service her whiffy frontbottom. CNN:
Campbell, who donated $1,000 to Willis' campaign in June 2020, contracted with the district attorney's office in January 2021 to provide services as a "taint attorney" for $150 an hour, according to the contract obtained by the DCNF.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has no plans to step down from the Georgia election subversion case over allegations she's having an affair with her lead prosecutor, a decision driven in part over concern that her departure would effectively end the case against Donald Trump and his multiple defendants, sources familiar with the thinking inside the DA's office told CNN. The sprawling racketeering case still has no trial date, and Willis and her team are keenly aware that the window to go to trial before the 2024 election is rapidly shrinking. Any change in the team handling the prosecution would likely delay the proceedings, and it's unclear if another prosecutor in Georgia would even be inclined to take up the case, given its political and legal challenges. ... Instead, Willis is preparing to counter arguments from Trump and other co-defendants, not by necessarily disputing claims about the relationship but by arguing that defense attorneys seeking to remove her are wrong on the law, sources said.Ed Morrissey points out some of the problems with hiring the ambulance-chaser nobody Darrius "Sweetdick" Honeycum, Esq., beginning with the fact that he's never tried a felony case before. Nothing like prosecuting the President for your first at-bat, huh?

In fairness, Hamas terrorists don't have to bother applying for Visas to gain access to the American populace, thanks to Biden's wide-open Invaders Welcome borders.
But Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib want them to be permitted to come here legally. And by the way: When I say the bill barred Hamas terrorists, I'm not exaggerating. The bill doesn't just bar members of Hamas from coming. It specifically bars Hamas "fighters" who took part in the slaughter, war crimes, and mass rapes of 10/7. And Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib said "Nah, they good people."Two Democrat congresswomen voted no on a bill that will bar all members of Hamas and anyone involved in the Islamist terror group's massacres on October 7, 2023 in Israel. The House vote was 422-2. Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Cori Bush (D-MO) voted no. Another Democrat, Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL), voted 'present.' The bill was HR 6679, titled "No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act." Tlaib issued a statement after the vote in which she called the bill unnecessary and redundant.Karen Armstrong explains that Tlaib is lying -- shocked faces all around, I know -- when she claims this bill is "redundant." It's not redundant, as it expands the bar on Hamas terrorists to PLO terrorists who took part in the slaughter. She's not against the "redundancy." She objects to her fellow Hamas terrorists being treated as criminals, when they're really Heroes. Two hijab-wearing activists for the "Liberation of Palestine" were denied entry to a Harris event.[Washington Examiner:] "It's just another GOP messaging bill being used to incite anti-Arab, anti-Palestinian, and anti-Muslim hatred that makes communities like ours unsafe," said the Michigan Democrat, who is the only Palestinian American in Congress. "I made a promise to my residents when they sent me to Congress that I would take meaningful actions to end hateful Trump-era immigration policies, reunite families, welcome migrants and asylum seekers, and reform our immigration system," Tlaib added. "I reaffirm that commitment today, and will always speak truth to power in the face of disgusting attempts by my colleagues to dehumanize our immigrant neighbors."Tlaib has a history of antisemitism so her vote against the bill isn't much of a surprise. However, accusing Republicans of anti-Arab, anti-Palestinian, and anti-Muslim hatred is beyond the pale. The bill passed with the support of the entire House, including the Democrat caucus. It had the full support of House Judiciary Committee ranking member Jerry Nadler (D-NY). Tlaib and another anti-semitic Democrat, Cori Bush, were the only two House members who voted against it. Rep. Ramirez wimped out and voted present, for whatever reason she had. It is rare for such overwhelming bipartisan support for a bill in the House. Tlaib and Bush are the ones who are out of step.
They immediately began accusing Kamala Harris of (wait for it...) racism. Life is good. John Sexton:
. The clip features a couple of pro-Palestinian activists from the group Nevadans for Palestinian Liberation who had RSVPd for a Kamala Harris event over the weekend only to be told at the door that they had been disinvited. As you'll see, the activists immediately jumped to the conclusion that they were being disinvited because they were both wearing hijabs. The person who is manning the door apologizes but doesn't offer any other explanation.

Happy February. February is a good month because it's the official start of the last lap of winter. Any cold or snow can be rucked with a "Well, this winter shit's gonna be done in four or six weeks, so whatever, dude." You can't do that in January.

The Iranian-backed terrorists responsible for murdering three U.S. soldiers, and injuring dozens more, in an attack over the weekend have started to evacuate their bases after President Joe Biden’s administration leaked to the media this week that they are gearing up to respond by carrying out a sustained bombing campaign. The news comes after NBC News reported on Wednesday that the U.S. retaliatory strikes would be a “campaign” that lasts “weeks,” according to U.S. officials. The officials went as far as to say that the U.S. would target “Iranian targets outside Iran, and the campaign will involve both strikes and cyber operations,” the report added. The traditional and appropriate function of the armed forces is to destroy things and kill people. That's how countries win battles and wars. Warning one's enemies that an attack is coming is rarely sound military doctrine, but our current military is an extension of an insane woke culture that predominates in the halls of power. Every decision is carefully calibrated to do the least harm (at least to our enemies) while sending a "message." Death and destruction is the only message that is appropriate in response to a deadly attack on our bases, yet the junta has gone out of its way to prevent that. So in the weeks to come empty warehouses and barracks will be destroyed with what remains of our high-tech weaponry, but the men and their arms will be safe! This is in obvious service to the geopolitical aims of the rabid anti-Israel faction in the White House and the State Department...strengthen Iran as a foil against Israeli dominance of the region. That has been the goal since 2009 and the ascendance of Barack Obama's political philosophy: hatred of the West, hatred of Israel, hatred of traditional America. The 180 degree turn away from insanity during the Trump administration galvanized the entire Middle East against its common enemy in Tehran...the mad Mullahs who are hellbent on the destruction of Israel, and then America. But the Obama worldview returned with a vengeance with the decrepit, drooling imbecile in 2021! Perhaps the worst message to emerge from this unfolding fiasco is the contempt for America and Americans that oozes from every orifice in Washington. Those three soldiers were sacrificed on the altar of political expediency, and instead of a swift and terrible response, we get a titrated reaction that is designed to protect the Iranian regime that killed our servicemen. And the junta isn't even trying to hide it. They simply don't care. They see our armed forces as an extension of their political muscle...a group to be used and discarded...like Antifa or BLM or a pro-abortion protest or a mostly peaceful riot in support of Hamas and another pogrom. But those soldiers are Americans; their lives are important, and not to be used cavalierly. The proper response would have been a massive and swift campaign that demonstrated the power of the United States military. Anything less than the total destruction of every Islamic Resistance in Iraq facility in Iraq and Syria and the killing of all of its members on those bases will send the unequivocal message that American servicemen are easy targets.

“Political and policy disagreements aren’t impeachable offenses,” former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff argued in a Wall Street Journal op-ed. The Journal‘s own editorial board used that same line in its own subheader opposing impeachment, arguing that, “a policy dispute doesn’t qualify as a high crime and misdemeanor.”STOP THE PRESSES – For those who are either too young or like Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants too demented to remember, Michael Chertoff was the Homeland Security director under George W. Bush, a Republican whose proclamation in the wake of 9/11 that Islam was a religion of peace and that we were not at war with it led to a flood of legal immigration from Muslim lands. It also gave us another out of control, inept bureaucracy, the TSA (now working on even more insidious ways to spy on us) as well as the ramping up of the Patriot Act used, not to protect us from the Islamic jihadists that Bush allowed in, but against anyone that was a threat to the globalist, Democrat-RINO agenda. People like Trump, and you and me. And how did that work out for us? The Wall Street Journal. A Soviet-esque ass-wiper that irritates the perineum and lies worse than Pravda, which once ran the five word editorial "Thou shalt have open borders." Illegally and catastrophically refusing to carry out the mission of protecting our first and most critical line of defense, the border, is merely "a policy dispute?" Someone needs to vaporize 22 Cortlandt Street (its address at least when I once briefly worked there) with a neutron bomb, so at least Century 21 next door can remain standing. Back to the action:
The same Democrats protesting that impeaching Mayorkas is an abuse of power were responsible for sending Peter Navarro, a former Trump official, to prison for refusing to testify before their partisan committee. That was and is an extraordinary abuse of power. Mayorkas, unlike Navarro, is a sitting government official. Impeachment, as Alexander Hamilton wrote in the Federalist Papers, involves those “offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men, or, in other words, from the abuse or violation of some public trust.” Impeachable offenses “relate chiefly to injuries done immediately to the society itself,” he wrote. It’s hard to think of a better example than allowing millions of illegal aliens to invade the country, and doing everything possible to wilfully impede the efforts of states trying to slow that invasion. As the internet meme goes, Homeland Security had one job. Is our homeland secure? . . . . . . Nearly 7 million illegal alien invaders have shown up on Mayorkas’ and Biden’s watch. They include tens of thousands of gang members and criminals, hundreds of terrorists and enough fentanyl to kill every American ten times over… and those are just the ones that we caught. Is 7 million illegal invaders a policy dispute or a war? Biden, Mayorkas and other officials claim that they’re helpless to act and that they’re doing the best that they can, and that House Republicans can fix the problem with a “border deal.” All of that is a lie. . . . . . The impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas is not a matter of personal misconduct. There is no evidence that he is stealing, conducting an affair, taking or soliciting bribes or corrupting the government for his own personal agendas. His only actual crime is following orders. And that’s the only argument against impeaching Mayorkas. He’s not acting on his own. Enabling the mass invasion of the United States is not the action of one man, but of an administration, which has used every federal agency at its disposal, including the EPA, to enable that invasion, which has dispensed a fortune to the invaders to encourage them to invade, and another fortune to the refugee resettlers to make sure that they never leave. And it’s not just the policy of one man or one administration, but of a party that has spent decades conniving, scheming and maneuvering, since the Kennedy administration, to fundamentally transform immigration law in order to shift the national demographics and the political culture through laws, UN treaties, economic incentives and the neglect of existing laws. . . . . . If a political official willfully refusing to do his duty leading to an invasion of millions and the deaths of over a hundred people doesn’t justify impeachment, what possibly does?Daniel Greenfield's essay is an accurate, methodical, point by point indictment of Mayorkas and indeed the entire system and flagrantly malfeasant bureaucracies that are acting with malice aforethought to literally destroy this country from within, as absolutely and thoroughly in its net result as any invading army or even ICBM attack could accomplish. In a way, what's going on is worse because at least we theoretically would have pockets of individuals who shared a common history, heritage, language and national identity. What is happening now will ultimately destroy it. The moral equivalent of a neutron bomb, except while people remain standing, their collective memory is wiped clean via being subsumed in an ocean of foreign, alien and hostile cultures. And considering the vast influx of not just an army of illiterate Latin-American peasant lettuce-pickers, but Islamic males of military age with jihad, baby-roasting and gang-raping on their mind, an actual neutron bomb or Jose Padilla dirty bomb is a real possibility So, while Greenfield's essay is as usual well-written and accurate, it misses a crucial factor. Getting rid of Mayorkas is the equivalent of getting rid of Eichmann, while Himmler, Hitler and the entire SS remain in place. There is no doubt that Mayorkas is a twisted, ideologically driven dangerous parasite. But getting rid of him is pissing-in-the-wind-symbolism, because behind him are hundreds of other poison-Ivy League anti-American automatons as bad or even perhaps worse than he is. Even more worserer, Biden and his puppet master Obama/Jarrett/Rice/Power-Sunstein will remain in place. And if God-willing Trump wins, the entire unelected bureaucracy is still there, which will be equally treasonous in its insubordination. Ditto every other agency, office and bureaucracy in DC. What possibly could happen as November looms like the anvil above Wile E. Coyote as he plunges 1,000 feet to the canyon floor, is that Mayorkas becomes the fall guy and then the Dems can claim "Problem solved!" while directing the mass Greek chorus of the propaganda machine, led by minimally talented Pop Tart Taylor Strumpet, to shriek "Roe, Roe, Roe the vote!" from now until well after the last 18-wheeler of ballots is unpacked and run through the tabulators a few hundred times to get to the required winning number. So, the GOP-led House has brought up articles of impeachment against Mayorkas for his criminality in the catastrophe at the border. At the same time, the same GOP-led House is doing this:
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is rushing through a tax bill unveiled days ago over significant policy objections from both conservative and centrist factions of the Republican Party. Conservatives have spoken out against provisions in the bill they see as handouts to illegal immigrants, particularly an expansion of the Child Tax Credit without language requiring the parent to have a Social Security number. They argue the expansion would serve as an additional powerful migration pull, even as migrant encounters at the border reach record highs under [so-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden. . . . . . Despite the criticism within his party, Johnson has touted the bill, calling it “important bipartisan legislation to revive conservative pro-growth tax reform.” Yet significant conservative opposition to the bill exists. Richard Stern, Director of the Heritage Foundation’s Herman Center for the Federal Budget and a former budget staffer to Johnson, told Breitbart News the bill is “a Trojan horse to expand welfare programs, including those that go to illegal aliens.”Yay! Bipartisanship! But wait. There's more!
[So-called quote-unquote "president"] Joe Biden’s Department of Alcohol, Tabacco, and Firearms is working with the Department of Justice to regulate private gun sales into oblivion by mandating background checks for personal firearm exchanges, according to whistleblower group Empower Oversight. Federal law currently requires background checks for any gun buyers who purchase their new weapons through a licensed federal firearms dealer (FFL). Two sources in communication with Empower Oversight confirmed the ATF is prepared to move forward with a rule that would classify a closed-door gun sale between friends or family members the same as firearm purchases made from FFLs. The rule, proposed by the DOJ and ATF at the behest of Biden’s gun control wish list issued in March 2023, seeks to change the definition of “who is engaged in the business of dealing in firearms” to increase the number of Americans required to become FFLs, a lengthy and far from “easy” process, that must conduct background checks to sell their guns. The ATF and DOJ credits Democrats’ 2022 gun control bill, which passed because more than a dozen Republican senators agreed to betray their base.Did your eyes just fly out of their sockets like champagne corks? The GOP — Grifting Oleaginous Parasites.
What about the rumors of replacing Joe Biden with Michelle Obama? Well, interestingly enough, Kraiger told O’Keefe that he had a meeting with Michelle Obama and someone asked her if she’d run for office. According to Kraiger, she said no. "Empathically.” "She was like, ‘I've seen all this s--t my husband has had to go through and that does not interest me.’" . . . Ahh, but there's more. Kraiger also spilled the beans about the incredible dysfunction in the vice president’s office. According to Kraiger, Kamala Harris "hemorrhages black staff. She can't keep black staff. They quit on her en masse.” But, that’s not even the juiciest part. “She will be the vice president nominee,” Kraiger noted. "There was a debate about removing her from the ticket, but sadly they didn’t, she's not popular, but you can’t remove the first black lady to be vice president from the Goddamn presidential ticket. Like what kind of message are you going to send to like African-American voters.…People would be like, 'What the f**k?' Like she's a woman and she's multiracial.”I've postulated that Big Mikey Forearms is too lazy and too comfortable to be the candidate, especially if it meant being her gay-boy husband's puppet. And voila! Things could change but I doubt it. Aside from the comedic yet frightening dysfunction at the top, there's this disgusting story:
Reports that the Biden [junta] is considering recognizing a Palestinian state—upending decades of U.S. policy—are generating intense criticism from Republican lawmakers who say the timing of these leaks marks a stunning betrayal of Israel as it fights to eradicate Hamas terrorists." As Joe Biden signals that the clock on his support for Israel is running out—a White House endorsement of a two-state solution would be the worst betrayal of our strongest ally in the Middle East, a reversal on decades-long U.S. policy, and a reward to Hamas terrorists who committed the most barbaric attacks against the Jewish community since the Holocaust," Rep. Tom Emmer (R., Minn.), the House majority whip, told the Washington Free Beacon, echoing comments from other GOP offices. "I will personally use every ounce of leverage at my disposal to ensure the Biden administration does not go through with this absurd idea," Emmer told the Free Beacon, hinting at a looming showdown between the White House and pro-Israel leaders in Congress. Sen. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said the creation of a Palestinian state would implant "an enclave for global terrorism" in Israel’s backyard, setting the stage for future conflicts with Israel. While the massive pogrom launched on Israel revealed the extant yet shocking levels of Jew-hatred in the Democrat party and its base, still more people have been repulsed by it and I think (read: I pray) they outnumber the Einsatz-groupies by a wide margin. Groundhog Day! Will DeBolshevik drop another one on its head?
"A Palestinian state would not only be an enclave for global terrorism and an existential threat to Israel, it would legitimize the aims of the attack on October 7, effectively rewarding Hamas," Cotton told the Free Beacon. "It’s clear the Biden administration simply wants to appease the pro-Hamas wing of the Democratic Party. It’s shameful this is even a topic of discussion." The Biden [junta] has been under pressure from the Democratic Party’s left wing to push for a ceasefire that would end the nearly four-month-long conflict. Anti-Israel lawmakers like Reps. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) have also floated proposals to cut off U.S. arms sales to Israel and end military aid to the Jewish state.

A missed opportunity for what, they do not say.
But reading between the lines, apparently they mean it was a missed opportunity for the largest censorship and propaganda program in human history, so we can only ne glad they dropped the ball again.
Also, Linda Yaccarino, the CEO of Twitter, is utterly useless.

@PhelimMcAleer BREAKING NEWS: Michael Mann defamation case against @MarkSteynOnlineMaybe they were just hiding the decline. Thanks to weft-cut loop. The contractor who stole Trump's tax returns, and the tax returns of 1,500 other Americans, and sent them to the leftwing media for purposes of politically attacking people with their confidential tax information pleaded guilty to a single count and was sentenced to five years in prison, which he probably won't serve.
& Simberg close to collapse after Mann's lawyers neglected to enter alleged defamatory articles into the court as evidence. Mann looking anxiously as lawyers.
Former Internal Revenue Service contractor Charles Littlejohn was sentenced Monday to 5 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to leaking former President Donald Trump's tax records, as well as those of some of the nation's wealthiest people. After serving his sentence, Littlejohn, 38, will have 3 years of supervised release. He will also have to pay a $5,000 fine, according to CBS News. Littlejohn was charged in September and pleaded guilty the following month to one charge of unauthorized disclosure of tax returns and information about the returns. He received the maximum sentence of 5 years on Monday. The left is still whining that someone phished Leon Panetta's email password out of him and published some embarrassing emails about the DNC scheming to deny Bernie Sanders a fair primary in 2015-2016. This, they say, "rigged an election." They began a global censorship crusade on the basis of this event. But this guy? They let him plead guilty to a single count and the leftwing media never talks about his attempt to interfere with the 2020 election. You know -- the only 100% fair and unrigged election in history. You might say it was well "fortified," in fact.

Comedian Kathy Griffin is begging fans to buy tickets to her upcoming comedy tour, saying tickets are "not selling well." Kathy Griffin put our her plea to fans in a recent video posted to her various social media accounts. "It's all about the tour, man. Just freaking get me to opening night in Des Moines. And Omaha is not selling well. First of all, there's not enough people there," the anti-Trump comedian said. (Both Iowa and Nebraska voted heavily in favor of then-President Donald Trump in the 2020 election.) "I need comedy fans to come out and see me in Kansas City. Come on! I need sell-outs. I've been through hell. I've been through so much crap since my last tour. I actually just have to laugh at it. I just have to laugh."There's a video at the link of her begging for charity. She looks bizarre. She's had a lot of non-subtle plastic surgery. From The Right to Bear Memes:

The board game "Settler of Catan" upholds "colonialist narratives," say bitter, unemployable psychopaths, grifters, and narcissists.

Ultimately, through a set of game mechanics that motivates resource extraction in the name of settling a supposed empty land, the connection between the in-game narrative and the political histories of North America and other parts of the world is clear. As historian Lorenzo Veracini says, "the Settlers of Catan is really about settler colonialism."To win a Twitter argument about DEI, billionaire Mark Cuban admitted that he routinely hires people based on race all the time. Anyone who works for Cuban but who was fired or was not given a raise or promotion, or who was rejected for employment by Cuban's companies, can now cite his Twitter confession that not only does he make hiring decisions based on race, sex, and "gender expression," but that he's proud to do it.
Mark CubanHe then babbled about companies that engage in affirmative action hiring... for whites, which is something that simply does not happen but whatever, idiot. An actual EEOC commissioner told him he was breaking the law:
@mcuban I've never hired anyone based exclusively on race, gender, religion. [Emphasi added.] I only ever hire the person that will put my business in the best position to succeed. And yes, race and gender can be part of the equation. I view diversity as a competitive advantage
Andrea R. LucasI think what Cuban means is that he doesn't hire exclusively on race... but if he's serving black customers and it would help his business to have black faces serving them, he'll hire blacks. Not for their race, directly, but because their race is good for business. Here's the trouble: A lot of businesses could say -- and indeed, did used to say -- "I'm hiring white salesmen because my customers are mostly white and feel more comfortable buying from whites." This was found to be invidious and illegal discrimination. You can't just say "well I own a basketball team and blacks like it when I discriminate against whites so I'm discriminating for business reasons, not for personal anti-white feelings." That reasoning has been against the law for, oh, about 60 years now, Mark. Read a fucking book, you Twitter-addicted shithead ignoramus.
@andrealucasEEOC
@mcuban, EEOC Commissioner here. Unfortunately you're dead wrong on black-letter Title VII law. As a general rule, race/sex can't even be a "motivating factor"--nor a plus factor, tie-breaker, or tipping point. It's important employers understand the ground rules here.

New polling data show Biden's support in our state plummeting. With an approval rating of just 41% and a disapproval rating of 57%, Biden finds himself 16 points underwater. This decline is particularly worrying for the President, given that he won New Mexico by a comfortable 10-point margin during the 2020 election. One of the significant concerns for Biden is the erosion of his support among Hispanics. While a 2022 poll indicated a 53% approval rating among the Hispanic community, that number has dropped dramatically to a mere 36% today. This marks a significant 17-point dip in less than two years. Keep in mind, Hispanics make up more of the population in New Mexico than in any other state. We are a minority-majority state. If they're abandoning Biden here, they're likely doing so in other states too. The top issues of concern in New Mexico revolve around the economy, crime, illegal immigration, and the cost of living. Unfortunately for Biden, these are precisely the areas where he is failing to resonate with voters.Blacks, especially black men, are also abandoning Biden. Never-ending race-baiting robot James Clyburn says he's "indignant," like an old woman, over young black voters feeling unenthused about the elderly rapist Joe Biden. From NBC "News:"
Of young Black voters who've grown disenchanted with Biden, Clyburn said: "I want them to stand in front of me and tell me they will support that [Trump's record] over Joe Biden's record." NBC News polling in 2023 found that Black voters overall favored Biden over Trump by 73% to 17%. But when it came to voters under the age of 34, the margin shrank. Among that slice of the Black electorate, Biden's support fell to 60%; Trump's rose to 28%. In 2020, Biden won 87% of Black voters, including 89% of Black voters under 29 and 78% of those 30 to 44. Any slippage from Biden's base could prove disastrous in another tight election. In 2020, Biden's victory rested on fewer than 43,000 votes in just three states: Arizona, Georgia and Wisconsin. [...] "I just hope that in 2024 we are not going to find ourselves as a country falling into what Germany fell into in 1932," he added, referring to the period when the Nazis came to power. [...] When it comes to politics, young voters aren't taking cues from long-standing institutions and party leaders, a former Biden administration official said, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss frankly some of the president's electoral vulnerabilities. They're instead looking to people "in the culture": social media influencers, grassroots leaders and urban radio. Black voters "are not going to be a rubber stamp for the party," this person added.

Nikki Haley Says the Jury Got It Right
ABC "News," headed by Clinton spin room leader George Stephanopolous:
Three days after a jury awarded her over $83 million for Donald Trump's repeated defamatory statements, columnist E. Jean Carroll vowed to use the money on "something Donald Trump hates." "If it'll cause him pain for me to give money to certain things, that's my intent," Carroll told George Stephanopoulos on "Good Morning America," suggesting she would create a "fund for the women who have been sexually assaulted by Donald Trump." After a two-week trial, a jury took less than three hours on Friday to return a verdict that Trump should pay Carroll over $83 million in damages to compensate her for two defamatory statements made by the former president in 2019 after she alleged Trump sexually assaulted her in 1996.E. Jean Carroll was awarded $5 million for the "sexual assault" the civil jury claimed occurred. (Not the rape, note: They did not find that.) But this new jury awarded $83 million for Trump calling her a "wack job," which she plainly is. She went on Rachel Maddow to celebrate because Rachel Maddow is a real journalist and of course real journalists celebrate partisan court victories with their interview subjects:

Say it's not so, Fani. Say it's not so.
Before getting to that, I have bad news: Knowing that depositions in the divorce action could be used to drive them out of office and possibly expose them to criminal action, Darrius "Sweetdick" Honeycum, Esq., suddenly decided to settle his divorce action, presumably on terms very favorable to his wife. This results, of course, in the subpoenas being null and void. From the NY Post:The Atlanta special prosecutor who brought election interference charges against Donald Trump reached a temporary divorce settlement with his estranged wife Tuesday -- meaning he likely won't have to testify in court about his alleged affair with his district attorney boss. The settlement automatically canceled a hearing scheduled for Wednesday in which Darrius "Magicschwanz" Honeycum, Esq.* was expected to answer about his relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It also means Willis will likely avoid testifying in the case.*Edited for clarity. I suppose this temporary settlement could be undone the moment he and Fani Willis are out of trouble. Ed Morrissey:
One has to imagine that Mrs. Wade finally got her piece of the massive fees that Willis paid Wade to run the RICO prosecution. Up to now, Mrs. Wade complained in earlier filings, she'd gotten bupkis while Willis lived high on the $650,000 in legal fees she paid Wade.Does that mean it's all over? Should we be depressed? Nah, son, don't be a fag. The ex-wife has used the affair to extract a ton of money from Sweetdick Darrius, but her agreement to a settlement does not confer some kind of immunity on Sweetdick and Mummycooze. The news that she hired her Professional Boner with taxpayer funds and then had those funds effectively kicked back to her in the form of cruises and trips is still a concern to the state of Georgia, and the judge overseeing this case will be asking the same sort of questions that Mrs. Sweetdick intended to ask. On to the newest news of Fani Willis' poon-centric perfidy:
I have to clarify the headline: The aide did not warn Fani Crotchcooties about spending money on her paid paramour Darrius "Sweetdick" Honeycum, Esq. (often misidentified as "Nathan Wade" in the stupid incompetent media). She was instead warning Fani Willis about Willis' top aide taking monies specifically granted to her office for specific legitimate legal purposes and diverting it to buy "swag," "Macbooks," and pay for travel for the staff. And Fani Willis fired this aide who brought the misuse of taxpayer funds to her attention. While this has no direct bearing on l'affaire Sweetdick, it does demonstrate that Fani Willis is as loose with rules about spending taxpayer money as she is in her droopy slackwalled choadbucket. Thus, one might suspect she might be a bit cavalier about spending taxpayer money to keep her Taxpayer-Funded Dick-Slinger in high style. Andrew Kerr at Free Beacon:
Fani Willis may have fired the employee who warned her about mishandling federal funds. But she didn't deny her allegations. Less than a year into her tenure as Fulton County district attorney, in 2021, Willis met with Amanda Timpson, an employee in the district attorney's office responsible for giving nonviolent juvenile offenders "alternatives to the juvenile court system." During their conversation, a recording of which was reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon, Timpson claimed to Willis that she had been demoted after attempting to stop a top Willis campaign aide from misusing federal grant money meant for a youth gang prevention initiative. According to Timpson, the aide, Michael Cuffee, planned to use part of a $488,000 federal grant--earmarked for the creation of a Center of Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention--to pay for "swag," computers, and travel.Using taxpayer funds to pay for travel...? This doesn't sound like the Fani Willis I know.
* Edited for clarity.
"He wanted to do things with grants that were impossible, and I kept telling him, like, 'We can't do that,'" Timpson told Willis in a Nov. 19, 2021, meeting. "He told everybody ... 'We're going to get MacBooks, we're going to get swag, we're going to use it for travel.' I said, 'You cannot do that, it's a very, very specific grant.'" "I respect that is your assessment," Willis responded. "And I'm not saying that your assessment is wrong." Later in the conversation, Willis apologized to Timpson, and said Cuffee had "failed" her administration. Less than two months later, Willis abruptly terminated Timpson and had her escorted out of her office by seven armed investigators, according to Timpson. When Timpson filed a whistleblower complaint the following year that alleged wrongful termination, Willis's office issued a statement describing Timpson as a "holdover from the prior administration" who was terminated because of her "failure to meet the standards of the new administration." Timpson's experience sheds further light on how Willis--who campaigned on the promise of restoring "integrity" to the district attorney's office--does business. The Democrat has come under fire amid revelations that she tapped her lover, Darrius "Sweetdick" Honeycum, Esq.,* to handle the office's racketeering case against former president Donald Trump. Willis is also alleged to have misappropriated taxpayer funds to facilitate her affair with Wade, a married man with scant prosecutorial experience. To Timpson, these twin incidents demonstrate "a pattern" in Willis's conduct.

Of course. They've turned academics into a scam, and so it's now flooded with scamsters.
You know how sometimes kids just submit the book report written in prior years by their older brothers and sisters as their own work? Same deal here. DEI grifters are getting promoted on hand-me-down book reports.
Harvard University's chief diversity and inclusion officer allegedly plagiarized some of her academic works, according to a complaint filed Monday with the university.
The complaint alleged that Sherri Charleston plagiarized 40 passages throughout her works, including in her 2009 dissertation and her single peer-reviewed paper, The Washington Free Beacon first reported. Charleston allegedly did not properly cite almost a dozen scholars when quoting or paraphrasing in her dissertation, and she is accused of re-using a portion of a 2012 study published by her husband, LaVar Charleston, in the peer-reviewed article, which was coauthored by LaVar, according to the complaint. LaVar Charleston is the deputy vice chancellor for diversity and inclusion at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, according to his webpage. "The 2014 paper appears to be entirely counterfeit," Peter Wood, head of the National Association of Scholars, told the Beacon. "This is research fraud pure and simple." The peer-reviewed article, which was also co-authored with now-dean of Michigan State University's College of Education Jerlando Jackson, uses the same methodology, description and findings as a 2012 study by her husband, according to the complaint.
... Harvard and the Office for Equity, Diversion, Inclusion and Belonging did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation's request for comment.Demanding original research which extends the filed of human knowledge is just White Supremacy Straight-Up. It's almost as if promoting people based on racial grievance rather than ability results in filling the ranks with people who are low in ability and high in racial grievance. Meanwhile, major donors are calling for Cornell's DEI-and-BDS president to resign.
Meanwhile, at least a dozen universities are being investigated by the Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights due to their refusal to investigate and punish clear cases of antisemtism and harassment against Jewish students. SUNY-Binghampton was just added to the list of shame. Although, I gotta tell you, this is a real SJW bullshit complaint:
Cornell University is facing mounting pressure to end its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and for the school's president to resign, following a top donor's fiery letter to the school's board of trustees, Fox News Digital has learned. "Replace the President and the Provost," Cornell major donor and trustee emeritus Jon A. Lindseth wrote in a letter Tuesday as the top item Cornell's board of trustees should address. "Eliminate DEI staffing and programming. Revert to Open Inquiry, Academic Freedom, Free Expression, and Viewpoint Diversity on campus," Lindseth wrote as the second item that needs to be addressed by the board. Fox News Digital learned that as of Thursday, the letter was mailed to each trustee, and will likely be fresh in their minds as they head into an emergency board meeting on Friday, a source familiar with the situation told Fox News Digital. The trustees' calendar shows they are scheduled to hold a meeting on Friday in New York City. Lindseth is requesting the board include calls for Cornell President Martha Pollack to resign as part of their meeting agenda on Friday.
... The lengthy letter goes into detail how Lindseth, who has been one of the school's largest donors for several decades, is "alarmed" by the university's embrace of DEI initiatives across all academic fields. He cited reports that the school is "hiring faculty based on race rather than academic merit," as well as reports of "failures to support faculty members choosing to exercise free expression and academic freedom." "I am proud to count myself one of several generations of Lindseths who are Cornell alumni and invested donors, but I am alarmed by the diminished quality of education offered lately by my alma mater because of its disastrous involvement with DEI policies that have infiltrated every part of the university," he wrote. ... The source told Fox News Digital that since the letter was sent, and subsequently reported on by numerous media outlets, Lindseth has received an outpouring of support. Students, professors and parents have reached out to thank him for sounding the alarm on DEI initiatives to the board, adding that they didn't feel like their concerns were being heard until he weighed in. Lindseth took issue with a handful of initiatives the university has rolled out in recent years, which has led to a "toxic" school environment.
"A new campus 'bias reporting system' fosters a hostile Orwellian environment among neighbors, classmates and colleagues reporting on one another. The elimination of grades and SATs has created a system in which equal outcomes rather than proven merit has become the objective. This is disastrous for a research university that is built upon academic achievement and aims to educate and train some of our country's leading scientists, architects and engineers," he wrote.
The Department of Education Office for Civil Rights has opened an investigation into Binghamton University in New York over its alleged failure to respond to harassment of Jewish students, Campus Reform has learned. The complaint was filed by Campus Reform Editor-in-Chief Dr. Zachary Marschall. An investigation into Binghamton University was opened on Monday by the Department of Education Office for Civil Rights. The letter cited an October 25, 2023, Students for Justice in Palestine "Walk out for Palestine" protest, where one student who served on the organization's executive board said "Israel is worse than Nazi Germany," according to a video posted to X. The Binghamton University Zionist Organization responded to the incident in an email to the Pipe Dream, the university's student newspaper. "Such a comparison profoundly diminishes the Holocaust's atrocities, where 6 million Jews were systematically and brutally murdered. To draw upon such a tragic chapter in human history for political leverage is not only historically misguided but deeply offensive, especially to Jewish students who bear the weight of the Holocaust's legacy," the organization wrote. Marschall wrote in the complaint that Binghamton hasn't properly responded to "very clear threats" to Jewish students."Well what are the threats? The one thing you actually call out is complete bullshit, and I assume that you're leading with your strongest evidence. That is not a threat nor is it harassment. That is simply speech you do not like, and using your status as a minority to enlist the government to suppress the speech you don't like. I trust the other complaints are more substantial than the one submitted by this SJW brownshirtnoser.
