37 Except for the car situation I'm quite happy. I went to the store yesterday and there was a beautiful baby of about 18 months riding in the front of the shopping cart. He was Indian (Asian) with the most beautiful large dark eyers His name was Anush (sp?) and dressed in a red coat and he was kicking his green stripped leggings with glee and smiling from ear to ear. I said to his mother, "He looks like a really happy baby. "He is" she says , "He just loves going outside to look at the world."

Then I went to a drama performance of kids and a couple of adults at a high school. You could tell they were having fun and there were so many attractive kids of different ethnic groups. They shows (6 scenes) were well done and some of them were really funny, and teens being teens they all predictably laugh at any reference to sex or genitals. The latter could make them horde members ;^) except this is the most expensive private school in the country and the epi center of liberal central NJ so they find the world "Republican" funny too but not for the same reasons we do. A nice evening.

94 I looked at Weather Channel app & thought I'd get feels like but storm watch late Sundat through very early am Tuesday, 8-12 inches of snow on way.

It's snowing now & winds up to 40 mph today too.

There are mountains of snow here & I don't know where another foot can go. I wish it snowed before we had single digit temps. Last time I looked & it was before snow roses looked dead.
Snow is good for them but before those temperatures.

On my visits to NYC the snow piles stunned me. I'd never seen anything like it. They just move them around for a month or so because they don't melt/evaporate until warmer temps show up.

I went outside wearing my high boots only to toss things in recycle bin day after storm. I took picture from my living room window that day because I wasn't going out again that day.

Natural snow is up to top of first floor porch. They didn't add snow there because my older brother has bad knee & shoulder & has had hard time bringing snow blower up basement stairs & had shed built. The only snow added would be from that porch. Second floor porch has hardly any snow.

I had no idea what soccer was when I got to HS, but I played it for three years, ending up co-captain of the B squad, which was pretty good for me, since I started out a flabby, pathetic last-guy-chosen type. And since most of the players were off-season football guys, we didn't play like fancy Europeans but like clunky Americans. Some good memories, despite the agonies.

And if the coach had just put one of my B team guys in for fullback after Tom got that concussion, we might have taken the tournament that last year! But I don't carry that around with me or anything.

I also can't stand Seinfeld - show or the man. His voice is beyond obnoxious and I never thought his "comedy" was all that funny. Guess I'll never earn my "hipster" card. But that's fine - I hear you have to trade in your man card to get it anyway.

I recently started watching Boardwalk Empire. It's on demand & all seasons are there. I started watching early this month.

The other day I was all dressed up & ready to go to bakery. It's on Main St. & I just pull over into Bus Stop area. Then I realized I'd have no place to park.
I have Stop & Shop bakery chocolate chip cookies instead. They're $3.99 for container vs $1.50 each at bakery.
Bakery used to be $1 but upped price by 50% since September. They're not as good but last longer than bakery's cookies & pastries.
