Sub-Domains

How can I set up a sub-domain? For example: http://grumbles.mu.nu/stuff. Is this something that I can do? Or do I need one of the Munuviana administrator types to do it for me? Once set up, can I run a blog in it?

1 That's not a subdomain, that's a directory

You want to use this to create a directory.

2 You're right, but stuff.grumbles.mu.nu is a sub-domain. In any case, I'm trying to figure out if I can run a second blog in stuff, whether it's in a sub-domain or sub-directory.

3 Yes, you can.

You can use CPanel (the link Spacemonkey provided) to set up the subdomain. You might not have access to create the new blog, but Jim or I can do that for you.

4 Okay, I created the sub-directory/domain, whatever we want to call it: http://grumbles.mu.nu/warblogs. Could you set up MT for the new blog in it? Thanks!

5 Will do. I'll get it on the morrow.

6 On second thought, no I won't. Seeing as Pixy already got it. ;-)
