OK, The Frame's Up...

Well, I think I have mangled my code as much as humanly possible, so if there are any MT gurus out there who would be willing to take a peek at my bit of Naval lint, and perhaps offer a suggestion or two as to how to correct any major errors in said coding I would be beholding to ya. I am getting blurry-eyed at looking at all the text/manuals/code...and am running out of Rum.

1 Guy, that's looking pretty darn good. I like how you've done the two side bars, and it feels nice and ..... mariner-like. Only thing, there's an awful lot of white in the middle there, matey!

3 Ok, perhaps there is a missing line (or two) of code..cause I don't see a line for font color (waits for fits of giggles/laughter/chortles to subside from all assembled). Heck, all we used in the Navy was various colored crayons and construction paper.

4 Look in your stylesheet template for a line like:

color: #101010;

This will probably be under the portion of your stylesheet dealing with your blog entries themselves. color is the font color, bgcolor is the background. If your color is the same as your main bgcolor your words will never show up. Email me your stylesheet template if you want to.

5 Oh, and there is a way to let TTLB know that you moved. I couldn't find a way to let Technorati know, unfortunately.

7 Okay, I'm looking at your style sheets tonight. I'll let you know what I think. I did notice that you have some styles in your header as well. Your best bet is to merge those into a single style sheet. Any styles in your header override any centralized style sheets that you call from the header. That's okay, if it looks good. But, it does cause a problem. Later, if you want to make a change you will have to go to multiple locations to update your style. It's a lot easier to just update the styles once, in the CSS.
