Wups

I spent the money for the new server on Dungeons and Dragons goodies. So it will be at least another month before we move.

Which is not necessarily a bad thing... The longer I leave it, the better the deals will get. And the current server has two very strong points in its favour: it works, and it is dirt cheap.

Meanwhile, I'll get the forums up and running, and maybe tweak the MT installation a little. Couple of new plugins and such.

The Ravenloft Players Guide
The Dragonlance Campaign Setting, and the Age of Mortals expansion.
The Underdark guide for the Forgotten Realms setting.
And City of the Spider Queen, which has been out for a while but I didn't have it.

10 Back when I used to play, there were only a few thin books of rules. And we had to program computers with lower-case ell's and oh's...numbers hadn't been invented yet...

11 You all had it easy. When I was young, we had to fight real dungeons and real dragons. Then we'd finish our shift and walk the 15 miles home over boiling hot coals. And then guess what was for dinner...that's right. Hot coals. You kids just don't appreciate how good you've got it.

13 Yeah. Ok. All I heard was "Server", "installation", and I zoned out before "giga" and "meta" were used. This doesn't mean I have to change anything with my blog, right? It's not going to crash or anything, right?

I can lay my ass and my heart out on the line on my blog, but I am a basket case when it comes to fixing my settings. Please don't freak me out.

14 I think we had one rule book, and we used these funny things called pen-sills that made marks on the paper. Wonder what ever happened to those? Must have evolved into crayons or something...
