BTW, I don't know if this helps, but the IP of my latest mega-spammer is:
69.50.175.146 If we can ban that, it would help enormously. (He/she uses lots of different actual addresses and names.) I'll give that a third. I've had to disable all comments. It sucks, but so does removing hundreds of comments.
