No Comment Notification

This morning, I stopped getting email notifications of my new comments. I double checked that the option is chosen and that my email address is correct in my config.

Anyone else having this problem? Or maybe an idea of how to fix it?

1 I'm not getting e-mail notification today either, but I have no idea how to fix it. Not that I really get enough comments to need it either.

2 Glad I checked here first. I was just about to post the same thing. Seems to have happened a few hours ago when mu.nu became inaccessible for a short period. I'm sure Pixy will know what's up when he has a chance to look.

I actually got 2 comments in this period of time - LOL.

10 And it's not MT specific - I've had a number of comment notifications not come through and I'm using EE!

11 Yeah, it's something to do with the mail server. I've given it a swift kick, but I don't think that's enough. I'm going to set up a test thingy to see if I can track it down.

12 Hmm. I whacked the mail subsystem with a great big stick, and I'm definitely getting notification now.

I've left comments for all the people who commented on this post, so let me know if you do/don't get the email this time.

13 Notifications are now coming through BUT.....

I've noticed that emails to that adress (in my case simon@simonworld.mu.nu) also all got blocked up. A couple of older notifications filtered through but most of them seem to loss in the great big pixel heaven in the sky.

14 CPanel comes with the Exim mail server, which is not one I'm familiar with. (These days I usually use Postfix, and before that, Qmail.) I'll do some reading and make sure it's fixed for good.
