!@#$% Radio Blog

Has anyone ever installed one of these successfully? I know Emma did, but every time I ask her about it, she doesn't respond. I use my cPanel file manager to upload the necessary files, insert the code on my page and have performed the necessary steps to actually get music and colors right and it does NOT appear on my page.

HELP!!!

1 I tried to install it once and when the batch file tried to convert my playlist, it kept crapping out... that's about as far as I ever made it into the installation.

2 That worked just fine for me. Then I copied the RBS files into the sounds folder in the radio.blog directory. It says to upload the directory from your hard drive to the server. So, I uploaded that to the file manager. Do you think I uploaded to the right place?

3 It needs to all be under your www directory for anything to show up.

6 I downloaded the new version of Radio.blog and everything works really well except for one thing... everything sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks... does anyone have any idea what went wrong?

9 I looked at the forums... I found a thread about Chipmunk Speed... it said something about sampling rates, but I can't find anything to controil that on any of my system standard software...

10 Linda: Let me ask you this... what software did you use to copy your CD music over to your hard drive and what format did you copy to... I used Windows Media Player and used the default format, not MP3... haven't been able to figure out how to adjust the sampling rate per the Radio.blog forum yet... thanks for any help you can give me!

11 I can tell you what the problem is right away now. Also, I'm kinda stoked that I know something that you don't. Hee hee...but I digress. The songs have to be in mp3 format for this to work. You just need an mp3 encoder. Here is a site that lists different software programs that will do such a thing. Page down to the FREE software and have a ball. Can't wait to hear your list of songs!!!
