Hotmail Link Decrapulator
# Language: Javascript
# Requires: MSIE6, Mozilla, Firefox, Netsape 7, Opera 7
Teresa over at Technicalities posted today about her dislike of the way her Hotmail e-mail account handles embedded links - you click thge link, and a new Hotmail window opens with the link in a "frame". I hate that kinda crap too.
Several months ago, I found a neat little utility at SlayerOffice that decrapulates the link and treats it like a regular link in a regular web page. It installs as a favelet on your toolbar. All you do is click the decrapulator favelet and then click the link. So, to all you with Hotmail accounts, go to OfficeSlayer's Hotmail Link Decrapulator Favelet, and download the little app, and improve your Hotmail Experience! Update:# Language: Javascript

Another neat Hotmail tool is the Hotmail Popper which lets you access your hotmail with your regular email program.
It's less than perfect, it bogs down sometimes and doesn't always get mail which I'd read from the web page while at work (even if reset to unread), but it lets me keep all my correspondance on my own hard drive.

Does anybody know of an applet, script, etc that would export a contact list from one Hotmail account and let you import it into a different Hotmail account?

I understand that if you are using hotmail and zap the crap out of the message with your ray gun, it behaves much better.
