Happy Lurker Day?

What if we have a Happy Lurker Day one day, like say Wednesday next week or something, where we turn off IP tracking for one day and encourage people to just say hello?

Or have I been smoking the funny stuff again?

2 Can we turn off IP tracking? How about if we turn off IP tracking, trick everybody into commenting, then us Windows message service to send them messages that pop up on their computers?
