When will Minx be ready?

Has anyone else seen this? It seems MT is gonna start playin' hardball with their stuff. Is it yet time for Munu to pull out of this game? What says Pixy Misa?

1 If the comments and trackbacked posts I've read are any indication, I don't see how mu.nu can run on the free licensing plan--at least, not on the new version.

3 Minx is still several weeks away.

ExpressionEngine is only $199 for unlimited blogs & authors on one server. That's my fallback plan at the moment.

5 Having just read the whole thing, it seems this is only if you want to upgrade to version 3.0; if you stay on 2.6 or whatever there's still no charge.

Bring on Minx - you could end up with a far bigger user base than you thought.

6 Yes, EE is only $149 for non-commercial use, but I think that the extra $50 is a small price to pay for a completely open license.

7 And the new version of Wordpress is supposed to be released next week. It's going to include support for multiple blogs too. (A lack of which caused Pixy to dismiss it last time, if memory serves?)

What are your plans for distribution of Minx beyond mu.nu? The editor over at eTalkinghead is looking for a new system to replace MT.

10 Assuming I actually get Minx working, it will be released as open source, so it will be completely free for anyone to use.
