Untouchable Comment Spam

I saw a hit in my sitemeter referrals this morning for an unlikely batch of words, so I checked out the linked post and found a flood of spam. Odd thing is that I got no email notifications of them, and when I go to the edit page (note that categories make that much easier) I don't find them listed for deletion. Can someone help me get at them?

1 Try rebuilding the post.

I deleted several hundred of those, but not all the posts got rebuilt.

2 That's strange. If you don't see the comments in question under the individual post's edit page maybe try rebuilding your site and see if they disappear altogether. They should show up on that edit page though.

3 I got an email of a sp@m comment to one of my Munuviana posts, but I haven't been getting them for comments to my site for months.

4 I've given up. I literally get 100 a day now and it just takes too much time to manually view each email and delete, add to spam list, and then rebuild.

5 Rebuilding individual archives did indeed get rid of them. Thank you yet again, Pixy. BTW, the fact that they were deleted pprobably explains the absence of notification. Now I have to do a total rebuild to get those and others subtracted from the comment count.
