Pinging Problems

I thought I set up Trackback properly but I'm getting this following error when I try to Ping:
One or more errors occurred when sending update or TrackBack pings. Check the Activity Log for the error.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

1 If I remember correctly, because of our "group" MT setup, all of MuNu is limited to one post every half hour for pings. I think that's pingage to a certain log site, not other blogs. Since as a group we post more often than once every half hour, we all get that same message.

2 I'm really enjoying the theme/design of your weblog. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility problems? A small number of my blog audience have complained about my site not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome. Do you have any ideas to help fix this problem?
