Now... "I HEART FIREFOX! I hate IE!"
Okay peeps, so my template was working sofunkyfine in both FF and IE...and now for some reason...in IE, the RIGHT column will shift ever so slight left. Before the page loads in its entirety in IE, everything will be cool and aligned properly, but by the time it finisheds loading, THEN the right side bar will eek a bit to the left. What the heck? At this present time where I am I don't have Opera loaded on this machine to check it in that browser, but in Firefox, things are sweet as always. Can someone lend me a hand to see if mighta accidentally goofed up something while I was moving stuff around recently?Posted by: Kyer at 05:04 PM | Comments (21) | Add Comment | Trackbacks (Suck)

Like I said, everything is perfectly fine in FF(yay!) but IE still sucks.

overflow:hidden
to your CSS under whatever class the calendar thingy is under. it will cause the calendar to align properly, but it will cut the right side off... I think.

Opera actually WIDENS the right tool bar... what the heck.
Why is it so difficult for me to create a uniform browser compatible/friendly template!? Does anyone else suffer from this?

And why does everyone think it's the calender that's to blame? I *think* I tried removing the calender and archives altogether and from the Main Index and I dont think that did anything.

Ok, sorry, I really DO know how frustrating that can be -- but that last second just really does look funny.
There's two things I'd try changing some of the settings for to see what might be the problem. On your style sheet for the calendar, you have a line width set to 110%. I have seen where IE really screws up percentages inside of divs. You might try reducing or even removing that to see what effect it has.
If that doesn't do anything, it's likely how IE interprets edges vs. Firefox. Your main content section has a right side of 208 with a border of 2. Your links section (right column) has a right of 5, width of 180, padding of 5 (each side), and a border of 1 (each side). Because IE interprets how to show those things differently than FF, I'd try making some of them smaller and see if it doesn't stop the problem -- maybe just increasing the content right to 212 or 216 might fix it.
