Memorial Memory
I was talking with an old grade school classmate of mine that reminded me of a song that one of out teachers, Mrs. Prichard taught us for Memorial day in the third grade:
"What shall I do on Memorial Day to show I remember them.
I will bring a rose of fiery red, a lilly of purest white And Iris, too, of purest blue.
The three will be just right.
I will proudly hail our glorious flag, for which men fought and bled.
And then right there, I'll breathe a prayer: God bless our heroic dead"
Too bad they don't teach the kids songs like that these days; instead they seem to inculcate dependence on the Government and that only "the collective" can be successful.

Welcome back Delfsman. I missed your wit. Thank you for your service and your patriotism.
My wife and I went up to Arlington and visited my friend and mentor CMSgt Gray. I t was an hono to serve with him. Although we had no flowers, our tears for those struck down in the prime of life was fitting or the day. Many familys in section 60, it was a sad but also a good day. The Sad we know, the good was the amount of people visiting the hallowed ground.

Im having a slight problem . I would love to purchase myself a good phone and cant make up my mind on which one to select. To begin with, i am considering the Samsung i8910 Omnia HD 8GB, which my friend has. It looks quite durable, and it all seemed good, but then i began looking at others. Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
