Smile

Here are some general Life observations that my Ex B-i-L sent me, and I took his suggestion of "Ya just might want to pass this along" to heart.

Now that food has replaced sex in my life, I can't even get into my own pants.

Marriage changes passion. Suddenly you're in bed with a relative.

I saw a woman wearing a sweat shirt with "Guess" on it.
So I said "Implants?".........She hit me.

How come we choose from just two people to run for president and over fifty for Miss America ?

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Wow...that was fun!"

I signed up for an exercise class and was told to wear loose-fitting clothing. If I HAD any loose-fitting clothing, I wouldn't have signed up in the first place!

When I was young we used to go "skinny dipping," now I just "chunky dunk."

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

Wouldn't it be nice if whenever we messed up our life we could simply press 'Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over? AMEN !!

Why is it that our children can't read a Bible in school, but they can in prison?

Wouldn't you know it...
Brain cells come and brain cells go, but FAT cells live forever.

Why do I have to swear on the Bible in court when the Ten Commandments cannot be displayed outside?

Bumper sticker of the year:

"If you can read this, thank a teacher -and, since it's in English, thank a soldier"

And remember: life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

Yum,Yum! It sorta tastes like chicken

Catfish sent me a picture recently of a 9'1", 97 Lb. Rattlesnake and a recipe of how to make such a critter "Good Eats".

DEEP-FRIED RATTLESNAKE

1 medium-sized rattlesnake (3-4 lbs.), cut into steaks
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup cracker crumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (not garlic salt)
1 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper

Mix dry ingredients. Whisk milk into beaten egg and use to dip snake steaks.
Then coat them with dry ingredients. Fry, uncovered, in 400 degree oil until brown.

Anyone know where I can get some Rattlesnake meat around here in Indy to try it out for myself?

Religion of Peace: Why Christianity is and Islam Isnt

Hot Air has an interview with Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch.

This is one the best explainations of the differences between Christianity and RADICAL Islam; the most important idea brought out from the interview and the ensuing comments is (as usual, emph. mine. D):

"Read the whole New Testament and you wont find any justification for the Crusades, the witch-hunts and the Inquisition. Westerners deviated from Biblical Christianity when our ancestors did these things. On the other hand, when muslims engage in jihad, they are not deviating from their religion, but are acting according to it." (

Another point brought out in discussion in the comments was that the Crusades were the result of a (long delayed) response of Muslim Jihad:

"We cant even include the Crusades in this, as it was a response to 300 years of jihad by muslims in Jerusalem & other parts of the territory.

It may not be specifically sanctioned by the New Testament, but fighting oppression by muslims was vital to protect the Christians and Jews in the region.

That needs to be kept in mindthat and 350 years of the Inquisition killed fewer than 4 years of attacks today, or 500 years of Moghul rule."

Gun Control is Worthless !

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I belong to an internet discussion group that has as it's main focus my favoritre Amendment contained in the Bill of Rights, the much maligned (by "Progressive" folks) Second. One of the other members of the group, known as Gump, came up with the following amusing look at the current state of "thoughts" (as posited by the "Progressive elements) concerning MY favorite Amendment:

Forty Reasons to Ban Guns:

1. Banning guns works, which is why New York, DC, Detroit & Chicago cops
need guns.

2. Washington DC's low murder rate of 69 per 100,000 is due to strict gun
control, and Indianapolis' high murder rate of 9 per 100,000 is due to the
lack of gun control.

3. Statistics showing high murder rates justify gun control but statistics
showing increasing murder rates after gun control are "just statistics."

4. The Brady Bill and the Assault Weapons Ban, both of which went into
effect in 1994 are responsible for the decrease in violent crime rates,
which have been declining since 1991.

5. We must get rid of guns because a deranged lunatic may go on a shooting
spree at any time and anyone who would own a gun out of fear of such a
lunatic is paranoid.

6. The more helpless you are the safer you are from criminals.

7. An intruder will be incapacitated by tear gas or oven spray, but if shot
with a .357 Magnum will get angry and kill you.

8. A woman raped and strangled is morally superior to a woman with a smoking
gun and a dead rapist at her feet.

9. When confronted by violent criminals, you should "put up no defense -
give them what they want, or run" (Handgun Control Inc. Chairman Pete
Shields, Guns Don't Die - People Do, 1981, p. 125).

10. The New England Journal of Medicine is filled with expert advice about
guns; just like Guns & Ammo has some excellent treatises on heart surgery.

11. One should consult an automotive engineer for safer seat belts, a civil
engineer for a better bridge, a surgeon for internal medicine, a computer
programmer for hard drive problems, and Sarah Brady for firearms expertise.

12. The 2nd Amendment, ratified in 1787, refers to the National Guard, which
was created 130 years later, in 1917.

13. The National Guard, federally funded, with bases on federal land, using
federally-owned weapons, vehicles, buildings and uniforms, punishing
trespassers under federal law, is a "state" militia.

14. These phrases: "right of the people peaceably to assemble," "right of
the people to be secure in their homes," "enumerations herein of certain
rights shall not be construed to disparage others retained by the people,"
and "The powers not delegated herein are reserved to the states
respectively, and to the people" all refer to individuals, but "the right of
the people to keep and bear arms" refers to the state.

15. "The Constitution is strong and will never change." But we should ban
and seize all guns thereby violating the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Amendments to
that Constitution.

16. Rifles and handguns aren't necessary to national defense! Of course, the
army has hundreds of thousands of them.

17. Private citizens shouldn't have handguns, because they aren't "military
weapons'', but private citizens shouldn't have "assault rifles'', because
they are military weapons.

18. In spite of waiting periods, background checks, fingerprinting,
government forms, etc., guns today are too readily available, which is
responsible for recent school shootings. In the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's,
anyone could buy guns at hardware stores, army surplus stores, gas stations,
variety stores, Sears mail order, no waiting, no background check, no
fingerprints, no government forms and there were no school shootings.

19. The NRA's attempt to run a "don't touch" campaign about kids handling
guns is propaganda, but the anti-gun lobby's attempt to run a "don't touch"
campaign is responsible social activity.

20. Guns are so complex that special training is necessary to use them
properly, and so simple to use that they make murder easy.

21. A handgun, with up to 4 controls, is far too complex for the typical
adult to learn to use, as opposed to an automobile that only has 20.

22. Women are just as intelligent and capable as men but a woman with a gun
is "an accident waiting to happen" and gun makers' advertisements aimed at
women are "preying on their fears."

23. Ordinary people in the presence of guns turn into slaughtering butchers
but revert to normal when the weapon is removed.

24. Guns cause violence, which is why there are so many mass killings at gun
shows.

25. A majority of the population supports gun control, just like a majority
of the population supported owning slaves.

26. Any self-loading small arm can legitimately be considered to be a
"weapon of mass destruction" or an "assault weapon."

27. Most people can't be trusted, so we should have laws against guns, which
most people will abide by because they can be trusted.

28. The right of Internet pornographers to exist cannot be questioned
because it is constitutionally protected by the Bill of Rights, but the use
of handguns for self defense is not really protected by the Bill of Rights.

29. Free speech entitles one to own newspapers, transmitters, computers, and
typewriters, but self- defense only justifies bare hands.

30. The ACLU is good because it uncompromisingly defends certain parts of
the Constitution, and the NRA is bad, because it defends other parts of the
Constitution.

31. Charlton Heston, a movie actor as president of the NRA is a cheap
lunatic who should be ignored, but Michael Douglas, a movie actor as a
representative of Handgun Control, Inc. is an ambassador for peace who is
entitled to an audience at the UN arms control summit.

32. Police operate with backup within groups, which is why they need larger
capacity pistol magazines than do "civilians" who must face criminals alone
and therefore need less ammunition.

33. We should ban "Saturday Night Specials" and other inexpensive guns
because it's not fair that poor people have access to guns too.

34. Police officers have some special Jedi-like mastery over handguns that
private citizens can never hope to obtain.

35. Private citizens don't need a gun for self- protection because the
police are there to protect them even though the Supreme Court says the
police are not responsible for their protection.

36. Citizens don't need to carry a gun for personal protection but police
chiefs, who are desk-bound administrators who work in a building filled with
cops, need a gun.

37. "Assault weapons" have no purpose other than to kill large numbers of
people. The police need assault weapons. You do not.

38. When Microsoft pressures its distributors to give Microsoft preferential
promotion, that's bad; but when the Federal government pressures cities to
buy guns only from Smith & Wesson, that's good.

39. Trigger locks do not interfere with the ability to use a gun for
defensive purposes, which is why you see police officers with one on their
duty weapon.

40. Handgun Control, Inc., says they want to "keep guns out of the wrong
hands." Guess what? You have the wrong hands.

I'm Baaaaaack

It's been far too long since I've had the energy or the fire to put up a decent post, and for that I apologize, but I think I've turned the corner on that front at last, and I sincerely hope that this is the first of many posts to come.

Part of the problem was that my medical conditions caused, as Ol' Jimmuh Cahtah would say: "a great malaise"; nothing seemed to penetrate the fog bank I seemed to be floundering in....poor excuse, I know, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Then I Beth*A came across this example of Hip-hop (of all mediums!) over at BlackFive that broke through the haze and really turned the light on for me again.

Please don't let the format put you off of listening to a truly powerful message. Those that know me KNOW how much I DESPISE the Hip-Hop/Rap genre, but this a case of the (very) rare exception to the rule:

(If you're like me and are hip-hop impaired as to comprehension of some of the words, I copied them from Blackfive and placed them below the fold.)

QUITE AN ANALOGY

I got this little analogy from my ex-B-i-L this morning, and I think it can explain just why so many of us on the Conservative/Libertarian side of the aisle are so angry over ILlegal Immigration in a way that maybe, just maybe, even some of the jackasses morons idiots "progressive minded" may be able to comprehend it. (It's a faint hope, I know, but sometimes hope is the only thing ya got to keep from going Postal!)

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed.

Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous
flow of free and easily accessible food.

But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above
the table, and next to the barbecue.

Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the
table...everywhere.

Then some of the birds turned mean:

They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of
my own pocket.

And others birds were boisterous and loud:

They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and
night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food.

After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore.

I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone.

I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over
the patio.

Soon, the back yard was like it used to be...... quiet, serene and no one
demanding their rights to a free meal.

Now lets see....... our government gives out free food, subsidized housing,
free medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be
an automatic citizen.

Then the illegal's came by the tens of thousands.

Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are
housing 5 families: you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room
doctor: your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over
half the class doesn't speak English: Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual
box; I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people
waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the
streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.

Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder?

Quote of the Day

"*You crack the shell and immediately smell the tidewater and the marsh. Pry it free, cut that muscle on the bottom, drag it out and drop it in your mouth. Explosion! You taste the salt and you taste the river and you taste the sea. You swallow the meat and taste the beginning of mankind in your nose. The taste goes back and forth for a moment, until you're ready for another one. That's eating a raw oyster."
Rob "Acidman" Smith

I was feeling poorly this afternoon, so I went to Rob's site to hear his homespun yarns in my mind. I really miss that guy.... He always cheered me up reading his prose and listening to his stories about growing up in a coal town in Harlan County Ky. and then moving to Georgia.

I'm greatful that his daughter Sam saw fit to keep Gut Rumbles up and running with reposts from the past after his death. Rob may have had his faults,as we all do, but not being able to move his readers with just his words wasn't one of them.

The Golfer and the Dentist

A man and his wife walked into a dentist's office. The man said to the
dentist, "Doc, I'm in one hell of a hurry! I have two buddies sitting out in
my car waiting for us to go play golf". So forget about the anesthetic and
just pull the tooth and be done with it.

We have a 10:00 AM tee time at the best golf course in town and it's 9:30 already. I don't have time to wait for the anesthetic to work!".

The dentist thought to himself, "My goodness, this is surely a very brave
man asking to have his tooth pulled without using anything to kill the pain."

So the dentist asked him, "Which tooth is it sir?".

The man turned to his wife and said, "Open your mouth and show him Honey.

The Dinner Club

A group of country neighbors wanted to get together on a regular basis and socialize. As a result, about 10 couples formed a dinner club and agreed to meet for dinner at a different neighbors' house each month.

Of course, the lady of the house was to prepare the meal. When it came time for Jimmy and Susie Brown to have the dinner at their house, like most women, Susie wanted to outdo all the others and prepare a meal that was the best that any of them had ever lapped a lip over.

A few days before the big event, Susie got out her cookbook and decided to have mushroom smothered steak. When she went to the store to buy some mushrooms, she found the price for a small can was more than she wanted to pay. She then told her husband, "We aren't going to have
mushrooms because they are too expensive"

He said, "Why don't you go down in the pasture and pick some of those mushrooms? There are plenty of them right in the creek bed." She said, "No, I don't want to do that, because I have heard that wild mushrooms are poison."

He then said, "I don't think so. I see the varmints eating them all the time and it never has affected
them."

After thinking about this, Susie decided to give this a try and got in the pickup and went down in the pasture and picked some. She brought the wild mushrooms back home and washed them, sliced and diced them to get them ready to go over her smothered steak. Then she went out on the back porch and got Ol' Spot's (the yard dog) bowl and gave him a double handful. She even put some bacon grease on them to make them tasty.

Ol' Spot didn't slow down until he had eaten every bite.

All morning long, Susie watched him and the wild mushrooms didn't seem to affect him, so she decided to use them.

The meal was a great success, and Susie even hired a lady from town to come out and help her serve. She had on a white apron and a little cap on her head. It was first class.

After everyone had finished, they all began to kick back and relax and socialize. The men were visiting and the women started to gossip a bit. About this time, the lady from town came in from the kitchen and whispered in Susie's ear. She said, "Mrs. Brown, Spot just died."

With this news, Susie went into hysterics. After she finally calmed down, she called the doctor and told him what had happened.

The doctor said, "It's bad, but I think we can take care of it. I will call for an ambulance and I will be there as quick as I can get there. We'll give everyone enemas and we will pump out everyone's stomach. Everything will be fine. Just keep them all there and keep them calm."

It wasn't long until they could hear the wail of the siren as the ambulance was coming down the road. When they got there, the EMTs got out with their suitcases, syringes, and a stomach pump.

The doctor arrived shortly thereafter. One by one, they took each person into the master bathroom, gave them an enema and pumped out their stomach.

After the last one was finished, the doctor came out and said, "I think everything will be fine now," and he left.

They were all looking pretty peaked sitting around the living room, and about this time, the town lady came in and said, "You know, that fellow that ran over Ol' Spot never even stopped!!

A stunning senior moment

A very self-important college freshman attending a recent football game took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.

You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one, the student said, loud enough for many of those nearby to hear.

The young people of today grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the moon, our spaceships have visited Mars. We have nuclear energy, electric and hydrogen cars, computers with light-speed processingand, pausing to take another drink of beer

The Senior took advantage of the break in the students litany and said, Youre right, son. We didnt have those things when we were youngso we invented them. Now, you arrogant little smart ass, what are you doing for the next generation?

WOW, WHAT A WAKEUP!

I got this in my E-mail this morning. I don't think I need to asay anything else; it's pretty self-explanitory and I personally subscribe to every contention made in the piece. The only thing I would add is; note every location and the fact that EVERY. SINGLE. one. of the locations where these tragedies occurred was a "gun free" zone. AND every one of the perpretrators of the actions violated a number of gun control laws already on the books. Nuff' said.

"When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns"

Gonzales, call your Office

It seems that there was a concerted effort by anti-war types within the Pentagon to convict the Haditha Marines of a so called "massacre", based on evidence PROVIDED BY THE Insurgents ISLAMOFACISTS on the other side of the events occuring on Nov. 19, 2005.

That members of the upper echelon of our own military would use such "evidence" provided by our enemy to try to prosecute our own soldiers is bad enough, but then we have them providing baseless accusations to the MSM. And THEN we have Rep. Jack Murtha (Jackass-PA),EXMarine, using that information, without even trying to ascertain it's authenticity.

He was trying to gain political traction on the backs of his former comrades in arms; ensuring that the "court of public opinion" would convict these men and ruin their reputations for the rest of their lives, regardless of the outcome of any legal proceedings......to my mind it demonstrates the self-serving degenerate slime that this EXMarine "War hero" has become. Mr. Murtha even went so far as to PUBLICLY try to convict the Marines involved even prior to reading an official report, which had not even been compiled as yet, relying on hearsay evidence of aquaintances (presumably) in the Pentagon.

Any reasonable person that had done any type of research into the case against the Haditha Marines should have smelled a rat after asking the first question that any investigator worth his pay asks; "what is the source and credibility of the information/evidence used against the accused"?

Mr. Murtha didn't even try to ASK this one simple question. He saw an opportunity to advance his own self-agrandizing anti-Bush agenda and proceded to loudly and publicly convict these Marines in the court of public opinion, with the all too gleeful assistance of the Media.
And he continued to do so even in the light of new evidence exonerating them.

There is a word for publicly accusing someone of serious crimes in public when you have a fair idea that the information you use to accuse them is incorrect, and that word is SLANDER

Mr. Gonzales, please, PLEASE: grow a pair and have the courage to to what is right and demonstrate that NO ONE is above the laws of our land, even those in high public office.

Prosecute Mr. Murtha to the greatest extent allowed by law and show the elites in Washington that they are being watched and WILL suffer the same fate as any other Citizen when they willfully transgress and break the law.

To the Haditha Marines: Realize that there ARE people pulling for you in your corner; maintain your faith and keep your heads held up proud and strong. Try to explore if there are any civil actions you can take against any accusers such as that piece of Murthaslime, and show him that a TRUE Marine NEVER gives up the fight against an enemy, whether foreign OR Domestic.

Run, Fred RUN! Pt.2

I earlier put up a post endorsing Fred Thompson as my ideal Presidential candidate, but there was a paucity of reasons WHY I felt Mr. Thompson was the best man for the coming political battle.

But if you really listen to his views in this interview, I hope that you too will come to agree with me that Mr. Thompson should lead the ticket for the Republican party in '08:

I especially like his response on what he would do vis a vis Iraq, ie, continuing to do as President Bush has done and maintaining the current military actions, even though it may be a politically unpopular decision.

Seven Steps

The anti-war Left is constantly trying to compare the present day conflict in Iraq with the Viet Nam war, and while I was going through some links from soldiers' reactions to Sen. Reid (T-NV) statements about how "we've lost the war", I cameupon this gem of an essay at Lincoln Heritage Institute's web site. It's long, but it's well worth the read. I put it up under the fold for those that don't want to follow the link. It's scary to realize just how the Left is willingly being used as pawns by the enemy against the better long term interests of the United States.

As Mr. Hollrah states at the end, I believe that when all is said and done, the Leftists/Democrats will have a lot to answer for when this conflict is finally resolved.

Psychos and Moronic Laws

The HORROR...30 innocents gunned down at Virginia Tech.

I can already hear the the calls for newer and stricter gun control laws now...but wait, I believe that as a "school zone", the possession/use of a firearm on the campus was ALREADY illegal? Sure stopped that psychopath from killing those 30 innocents, didn't it?

"Let the Police handle it"....note the first sentence in the story :TWO HOURS elapsed between the first casualties in the dorm and the last victims in the classroom ACROSS CAMPUS. TWO HOURS, GREAT work guys, had to wait on that special order of doughnuts to be baked before you responded to a "shots fired" call? Oh, yeah, they did send out an E-mail, warning students to stay indoors at around the same time that the second round of shootings was beginning.

Just imagine...had at least one student or R.A. in the Johnston Dorm been armed; the outcome could have been very different, say maybe "only" three dead (including the Perp) instead of 31; still a tragedy, yes, but on a far smaller scale.

The Sarah Brady's of the world always declaim concealed carry and general ownership of weapons as a "recipe for a bloodbath", with the blood flowing in the streets, well Sarah, your school property carry prohibition literally did make for blood flowing in the streets....and the dorm....and the classroom. And this was just one deranged murderer, imagine what a dedicated squad of suicide Islamofacists could have done! And lest you think that scenerio farfetched, remember that when they found that cache of terrorist computors in Iraq about a year or so ago?; the ones with the blueprints of several school building layouts?

The terrorists are thinking about how to make a Breslan style attack here in the US, we should do no less than to think about how to forestall such an event, and I believe in my heart that "civilian" assistance at the outset of any such attack could make the difference between a small casualty count and a huge one.

I hear you Sarah, you say, "what about Columbine? Access to guns caused that tragedy!"

All I can say is that in the mid-60's I carried a gun to High School on a regular basis, as did many other students, so as to avail ourselves of the R.O.T.C. firing range in the basement after school. No one panicked at the sight of a 16 or 17 year old walking into school with a .22 slung over his shoulder. (even though possesion of a firearm by a minor was and is technically illegal)

We never had a SINGLE incident of abuse of a weapon in the four years I attended that school...we would never have THOUGHT of firing at our fellow classmates or teachers..well maybe the teachers, but hell, we would have been afraid of what they might have been carrying to respond with...

We knew the possible deadliness of our weapons and we respected it, too bad the children of today don't. They seem to view weapons as a game toy, with the scene to be reset at the end of the carnage, and only ketchup spots on the floor to signify injuries. And why not? The Sarah Brady's of the world have precluded many wimpified parents from passing down their knowledge of firearms, lest they be branded as bloodthirsty child abusers.
The only experience that the kids get is in ultra-violent video games, where they can be blown up or receive multiple high power ammunition wounds and lose in a battle yet still live to fight another day.

We need to rethink the entire gun control scene and go back to our roots, where we were not only allowed to provide for our own self defense, but were EXPECTED to provide for that defense. That is one of the reasons behind the 2nd Amendment; our Founding Fathers were some pretty wise men; certainly they were far ahead of their time.

Pelousy

From Blackfive: Shadow Presidency. A MUST READ.

My take on it?:

"Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both." (emph. mine)

"This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects."

Another one bites the dust

Tiny Bubbles....it was a stupid song...but yet when it was sung by it's creator, it always made you buck up a little, no matter how low you felt at the beginning.

Phelps PHishing Phor Phriends?

Westboro Baptist "Church" WHY do we give these people the attention that they so obviously try to engender with their public antics? The very fact that they can spout their hate, especially at soldiers funerals, without reaping any just reward for it shows that we are really a (overly ?)tolerant society.

RUN, Fred, RUNNNNN!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

An Internet poll of nearly 100,000 people sponsored by NewsMax.com reveals that Americans are overwhelmingly in favor of Fred Thompson running for president in 2008.

The poll also disclosed that the former senator from Tennessee and Law & Order star would trounce all leading Republican candidates in a primary.

Considering that Thompson has not even announced that he would run for the Presidency,The results are somewhat surprising. The good news (to me, and apparently many others) is that he has begun assembling the core of a campaign team in preparation for a possible run.

Here are the poll questions and results:

1) What is your overall opinion of Fred Thompson?

Favorable: 94 percent
Unfavorable: 2 percent
No Opinion: 4 percent

2) Is Fred Thompson your candidate for president in 2008?

Yes: 77 percent
No: 23 percent

3) In the following field, who is your 2008 candidate?

John McCain: 1.66 percent
Condi Rice: 2.64 percent
Mike Huckabee: .99 percent (WHO??)
Mitt Romney: 4.14 percent
Rudy Giuliani: 7.53 percent
Fred Thompson: 62.54 percent
Tom Tancredo: 2.78 percent
Ron Paul: 1.25 percent (double:WHO?)
Newt Gingrich: 12.25 percent
Duncan Hunter: 1.23 percent
Sam Brownback: .97 percent
Other: 1.99 percent

4) In a Republican primary of the following, who would you vote for?

Rudy Giuliani: 7 percent
John McCain: 2 percent
Newt Gingrich: 13 percent
Fred Thompson: 78 percent

5) If the 2008 President race was between Fred Thompson & Hillary Clinton, who would you vote for?

Fred Thompson: 98.7 percent
Hillary Clinton: 1.3 percent
(WHEW! If this ratio would hold true in the election; talk about a MANDATE!!)

For me, the dream ticket would be Thompson/Tancredo, what about you?
