Liars and Polititcians, but I repeat myself...

Want to know one reason I despise Barrack (don't ever mention my middle name Hussein) Obama?

He's a liar and doesn't even have the smarts to be able to cover it up, Recently he's been running an attack add accusing McVain of being in the pocket of lobbyists...can you say 'Projection'?

Go to Hennessy's View and lets just see who's deeper in the Lobbyist's pocket.

Add to that Barry's refusal to vote for the Born Alive Act, showing him to TRULY BE "The most liberal Senator in Congress", and I truly cannot fathom ANYONE voting for Obama (Marxist/Socialist, IL).

Thanks for the heads up, GUY.

Logan Act; Application Of

I'm still withholding final judgement on THIS, but IF it proves to be true that Obama tried to interfere with U.S. military policy in Iraq, I would hope that, not only would his Presidential bid be a moot point, but that he would be facing a long stretch in the Federal Grey Bar Hotel in Leavenworth.
The Logan Act makes it quite clear as to what private citizens, including Senators and Congresscritters can and CAN'T do overseas, and if the Taheri's statements are true, it's clear that Teh One far overstepped the bounds of legality. Even if he didn't step far enough over the line to constitute a crime, his obvious placement of his candidacy above both the best interests of the Country and the safety of her soldiers engaged in a war should put to rest any consideration of his being qualified to be POTUS...

UPDATE:

But Obama's national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi said Taheri's article bore "as much resemblance to the truth as a McCain campaign commercial."

In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a "Strategic Framework Agreement" governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office, she said.
In other words, Taheri says Po-ta-to and Barry says Po-Taa-to, but it's still the same root vegetable.

There you have court admissible evidence that GHO did INDEED interfere with the foreign policy of the U.S. in a time of war, and that he did so merely for his own political views.

My wish would be to request that he be charged under the Logan Act as soon as possible. My advice to Barry would be to cop a plea in exchange for a lesser term, and don't drop the soap in the showers.

Thanks to Hot Air for the links, and continuing coverage

Quote of the Day

I got the following unattributed quote from my ex-BiL...any married man can attest to it's wisdom.

"Whatever you give a woman, she's going to multiply. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her."

So - if you give her crap, you will receive more shit than any one human being can handle"

Thanks Wayne !

Interesting Game

Go to ABC's Match-O-Matic and see which candidate matches the closest to your own views. It really is fun.

My score? I matched John McVain 100%...I don't know whether I should be pleased that I didn't agree in anything with the Marxist or angry that McVain is so good at impersonating a conservative....

9/II

Photobucket Image Hosting

Today we mark the seventh anniversary of September 11, 2001, when 2,996 innocents lost their lives in the murderous attacks of Islamic fascists against our country.

In keeping with the presidential proclamation designating September 11, 2008, as Patriot Day, all flags should be flown at half staff in memory of those who lost their lives seven years ago.

I invite you to join us as we offer our prayers for the families of those lost and for our Armed Forces now serving on the front lines of the war that we finally enjoined that day.

We had actually been at war since November 4, 1979, after a group of terrorists took over the American embassy in support of Iran's revolution, but it was a one-sided conflict that the people of the U.S. didn't know we were engaged in. "Leaders" on both sides of the aisle were too afraid to "call a spade a spade" and take the actions necessary to stem this war at the onset and let it grow into a world wide conflict. The reason that they could do this is that the enemy is an ideology espoused by a fractious group of fanatics working sub rosa rather than a declared State using formal armed services. That enemy is no less dangerous for not being a State; indeed the enemy is MORE powerful because of that fact. States that condone their ideology can covertly assist the Jihadists without much fear of incurring the the just wrath of the world.
The rainbows and Unicorn Kum-Ba-Ya worldview of the far Left assists in this cover, for they can't even conceive of a state engaging in such acts (UNLESS it's our own government, of course) .

It was only on that dark Tuesday that it was finally brought home to the American people that we were in a battle for our very existence, or at least it SHOULD have been the wake-up call...so far this war has managed to remain as an intellectual exercise to most of the populace; something for the far Left fringe to practice their 60's style sang froid against "the Power" (beats having to go out and earn a living after all) and a way for power hungry politicos to rant and rave play to the fweelings rather than to the logic of the (sometimes willingly) ignorant. Thankfully, we have enough young people that haven't been indoctrinated to the point where they will willingly let our civilization commit suicide by inaction.

Let us all be grateful to every single one of the "Sheepdogs" in the Armed Services of both the United States and those of our allies. We owe them more than we can ever truly repay.

We rose from the ashes of 9/11, we WILL defeat our enemies, both the foreign, and the domestic.

Some of the music of my life

These are just some of the tunes that remind me of my teens....

Layla, whats NOT to like?

Tales of Topographic oceans by Yes..helped me through a lot of lonely nights when I was stationed in Germany.

I can remember one year when I was on a church youth group retreat when we played this for three solid days straight...still the best drum solo ever!

Lesser known, but my fovorite Iron Butterfly tune. What can I say? I was a weird teen. This one is for you, Beth*.

Last, but not least, Blood Sweat and Tears brings it ON. I've been known to sing Hi-De-Ho (VERY badly) without even knowing I was doing it.

Quote of the Day

"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have." Thomas Jefferson

You just might to remember this quote the next time that ANY candidate promises you "guaranteed health care", access to totally "free" education, or any other social program that promises something to you seemingly without a direct price tag to you.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Brit Moonbattiness

Seems that the U.S. isn't the only place with it's share of moon-bats, in this story out of Surrey, the U.K., a soldier was refused service in a hotel simply because he was a soldier.

Corporal Tomos Stringer, wounded in a convoy ambush in Afghanistan, was in Surrey to participate in a fallen comrade's' funeral when he was refused a room on the basis of his being a member of the Armed Services at the Metro Hotel in Woking, Surrey.

Guess Kipling was right when he wrote :

"For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Chuck him out, the brute!"
But it's "Saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot;
An' it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' anything you please;
An' Tommy ain't a bloomin' fool -- you bet that Tommy sees!"

Hope all the Brit Vets and Active Duty don't let this pass without comment; I also hope it to be a given that we here are grateful for the service of ALL the troops engaged in the WoT, no matter what their country of origin. People like Cpl. Stringer are much better than some of the people they defend deserve.

Experience

Photobucket

I've made all too few posts on the Obamination and his cult of personality that has managed to hijack what was once a great political institution...He could have managed to get as far as he has only with the far left fringe elements of that institution taking control. THAT fact is a clear indicator of just how far we have sunk as a society; that the FAR FAR fringe is even given the time of day, much less control, over a major Party.

I got the following from a friend in my 2ND Amendment group, and it displays just how totally insane this situation is.

You couldn't get...

You couldn't get a job at McDonald's and become district manager after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.

You couldn't get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't join the military and become a colonel after a 143 days of experience.

You couldn't get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't get a job as Director of Nursing after 143 days experience as an RN

BUT......

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator.
To the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.
That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.
After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World...... ....143 days.

We all have to start somewhere.
The senate is a good start, but after 143 days, that's all it is - a start.

AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this and campaigning for him.
We wouldn't accept this in our own line of work, yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States of America?
Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol !!!!!

Pull your head out of wherever you're sticking it and wake up!!!!

Character (Lack Thereof)

Some people might think that a candidates character should matter in an election...truth being one measure of said character, but in looking at the Obamination, that is NOT EXACTLY debated honestly in the MSM is it?

Newt Gingrich SLAUGHTERS the MSM/Lib meme that Gov. Palin hasn't the experience to be VP. The look on Ron Allen's face said it all; you KNOW that HAD to hurt! LMAO

Welcome to the Party!

From my friend Eddie:

I was talking to the little girl of a friend of mine. I asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up and she replied, 'I want to be President!'

Both of her parents are liberal Democrats and were standing there. So then I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?' She replied, 'I'd give houses to all the homeless people.'

'Wow - what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'You don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where there is a homeless guy that hangs out there. You can give him the $50 to use toward a new house.'

Since she is only 6, she thought that over for a few seconds. While her Mom glared at me, she looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?'

And I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'

Her folks still aren't talking to me.

*********************************************************

Proof yet again that even a 6 year old can outthink a Liberal!

Some Sarah Palin Facts...

Sarah Palin as VP increases Depends sales among scatalogically frightened Democrats

Sarah Palins suit is made from 100% dead liberal skin.

Sarah Palin drives herself to work everyday - in an M1A1 tank

Sarah Palin wears three quarter length sleeves to keep from getting blood on her clothes when she kills "debates" liberals.

The EPA placed polar bears on the endangered species lists because they knew raising 5 kids and governing the nation's largest state would leave Sarah Palin with way too much spare time for hunting.

Sarah Palin can make an authentic Eskimo kayak from the hide of a single political opponent.

Hordes of unemployed, former, state-employees in Alaska are still in shock after discovering the woman they mistook for a maid, meant a different kind of cleaning of the state capital.

Just for Grins

A Baptist church down in central Kentucky had a very big-busted
organist. Her breasts were so huge that they bounced and jiggled while she played the organ and distracted the congregation considerably.

The very proper church ladies were appalled.
They said something had to be done about this or they would have to get
another organist.

One of the ladies approached her very discreetly and told her to mash up some green persimmons, and rub them on her breasts and maybe they would shrink in size but warned her to not eat any of the green persimmons because they are so sour, they will make your mouth pucker up and you won't be able to talk properly for a while. She agreed to try it.

The following Sunday morning the minister got up on
the pulpit and said, "Dew to thircumsthanthis bewond my contwol we will
not hath a thermon tewday".

Palin PUMPS it UP

I just finished listening to the best 36 minutes of political rhetoric I've yet heard out of either convention. Governor Palin was smooth, witty, and strong.
Photobucket

One example was when she deflected criticism from the Obama camp when they belittled her past mayoral experience; Sarah came out with a succinct thrust into the heart of Teh ONE's own past experience by direct comparison saying "Being a small town mayor is a lot like being a community organizer,.. but with responsibilities".

Photobucket

Gov. Palin spoke in a smooth confident manner that bespoke a woman who knows whereof , and moreover, believes in what she speaks of.

I will vote for this ticket; I just hope I DON'T GET BUYERS REMORSE AFTER THE FACT IF MRS. PALIN TURNS OUT TO BE JUST ANOTHER FAST-TALKING-SELF AGRANDISZING POLITICIAN.

I changed the font in that statement for future use; when I either heave a great sigh of relief that Gov. Palin is just as she appears to be, and I was wrong to have small doubts OR I will use it to remind myself of what was there unseen and here is just another Politician
Either way, I would still owe Gov. Palin a huge THANK YOU for bringing some new life and hope into what was turning into a deadly dull prattling type of race and turn it into a discussion of the differences the Parties represent.
It feels good to be energized about the politics of politics for as long as it lasts.

Quote of the Day

Now our opponents tell you not to worry about their tax increases. They tell you they are not going to tax your family. No, theyre just going to tax businesses. So unless you buy something from a business, like groceries or clothes or gasoline... or unless you get a paycheck from a big or a small business, dont worry... its not going to affect you. They say they are not going to take any water out of your side of the bucket, just the other side of the bucket! Thats their idea of tax reform. Fred Thompson

My blogging friend Jack asks a very pertinent question: "CAN OBAMA LEAD?"

He shows the proof that, in fact, Obama can't lead in his own home town, much less the Country.
