I assume that you get to pick the music that plays when you come up to bat. Please rethink your choice. Do you really want management to hear Dire Straits' Money for Nothing every time you step up to the plate?

Liz and I went to the Potomac Nationals game last night. Three bucks for parking, dollar admission and dollar hot dogs. Gotta love Monday night games.
For folks planning to attend the game this Saturday (May 5th), we're going to be sitting in section 8, in the handicapped seating. When you get to the stadium, ask for tickets in section 8, right behind the wheelchair spots. Seats in that section are $7.00, which leaves more money for beer. Don't forget the fireworks afterwards.

I won't be attending, thanks to the milblogger conference this weekend. But next time, I'll be there.

I wish I could provide more details, but I cant. What I do know is James Carrington was concerned in Orange County Confiscation activity (listed in a document) which was Archibald Lytle's claim to fame as he was the head man for Orange Co. in land confiscation (the process whereby the state could take land from a Loyalist). James is also listed in a 1776 list of Hillsboro District men as First Lieu. The Carrington relatives did not own a "town lot" that's certain. I also looked in Granville Grants (175x-1763) to determine if James had any purchases NONE. Nonetheless, you will find a bunch of Carrington's soon after the war within the Flat River location (northern Orange Co.) ca 178x-179x. I dont know if they are related. ALSO be aware that in the Berry Hill Plantation in South Boston VA (north of Hillsboro NC) are a number of Carrington loved ones burials Paul Carrington b. Sep 9 1764, d. Jan 8 1815 may be the oldest. There are some others, I photographed their tomb stones. You may locate the Berry Hill plantation via the web...its an amazing location. As you said, George Carrington is also listed in Rev War pensions and so on. But I cannot tie them together, nor to Lytle's group of men. Lytle was active at Battle Lindley Mill and I did not see any Carrington listed with him. Stewart
