"Markets hate uncertainty." So they "surged"-- well, popped up a bit--when the uncertainty of the election went away. Then they realized what the "certainty" that replaced it was, and everyone shat their pants at once. May be -- but certainly the reason for the puncturing of the bubble at this particular moment was the communist takeover." The only bubble was the fear that there won't be buildings in which to put the chips. The Dems opposition to datacenters has been duly noted. The industry is still printing money at eyewatering levels. The confidence that they can perform on outyears of backlog is what took a hit. As an example, Nvidia's last quarter was $96 Billion with 75% margins and 100% y/y growth. Those kinds of numbers are bananas. I'll keep my Nvidia stock and sell enough to rebalance when it gets too high. Again. I will count on their corruption, and once they've extracted their vig, some state somewhere will build a fook ton of NG power plants and cookie cutter data centers. I use numerous AI everyday for work and for my own tools.

I hate them less than the Soviets, and more.
