DOJ Charges James Comey Under the Espionage Act for Transmitting Classified Information to a Non-Approved Source

That finally got unraveled by someone, and I can't remember what exactly the scheme was -- but be sure it had nothing to do with justice. More to do with closing some loophole, dotting some i -- maybe it was to head off more serious charges? Can't remember.

OT I did my civic duty and early voted today.
So I've mentioned this from time to time but I'm one of the (small-L) libertarians here. Been voting pretty consistently LP since 2000 with a few exceptions. GW in 2004, Trump in 2020 and '24. '24 I voted *mostly* R but this is the first year since I turned 18 in '98 where I didn't vote for a single solitary LP candidate (first ever LP vote was for a teacher in my high school running for Congress). This year? Republican all the way down the ballot.

I prefer anti social media like AOS nowadays. Read news on X but comments are as bad with bots and human sludge as those websites using Disqus.
Basically if you run your own place like Ace does, you have to smash bugs all day every day with the Banhammer and relentless commentary mockery aimed at the trolls and the idiots. Anti social but Moose out front should have told them--iq and knowledge has to be X high before you comment on this ride.

What gets me about this is, the "tit" (I think that's us) is actually flat-out justice -- for once in a damn blue moon. Normally it seems these people are too big to fail, or The Club We're Not In, or we're soaking in it and you could spend an entire DOJ budget just prosecuting crooked pols. But in reality, they're criminals and they should be prosecuted. When it shockingly happens, it looks like war or politics.
Makes me sick. It happens so seldom that simply enforcing justice becomes weaponizing justice.

In real estate, location is everything. The lawyer couple were complaining in effect that they could not afford a house in a 'fashionable' part of Manhattan. Living in somewhere like Harlem or Queens never crosses their mind.
Same deal as complaining you cannot find a reasonable house to buy in Malibu facing the beach.
