And yet, despite Western Europe and Civilization as it had been advancing for several thousand years is in flames courtesy of suicidal Leftism and Homicidal Islam, somehow in spite of it all America is still clinging on to a life raft as the waves do their best to swamp and drown us. None has been on a farm, or in a production plant, or an assembly line. They have no idea where things come from, how things are produced, or how things get from A to B. They know the levers of politics, otherwise nothing.

I have no doubt the Left is marshaling its forces for street violence and looks to extend their Euro play to North America.
But, hopefully the Trump administration has this under control, this time around. I think it probably does - "make sure to vote correctly in November, and then we'll tell our paramilitaries to stand down and quit burning everything" is their main campaign tactic these days, and they haven't been able to pull it off this year, so they're clearly on the back heel in that regard.

I happened to watch some of the Packers/Lions game last night. There was a long string of absolutely horrible calls against the Packers. Even Tom Brady, one of the announcers, called them horrible. Don't bet, don't follow odds, but got the feeling the officials were tipping everything in the Lions favor for some reason (I'm not a Packers or Lions fan).
Kept thinking they should've briefed Brady about the fix so he wouldn't be calling it out in frustration.

Those at the TxMoMe may remember there was an issue with our dog.......My SiL's dog and ours got into a tussle. Her dog is much bigger than ours, so ours took the brunt of the damage.
He's still in the vets office and after the last week, now has a 3x12 gap in his fir/skin where tissue was removed due to the fight and subsequent trashing of his back/shoulder area.
The vet graciously offered to keep and treat him while we moved, which is a Godsend since there's so much attention he needs with cleaning and bandage replacement.
Breaks......I can't seem to catch any.
We did early vote which is awesome for us as we close on Nov. 3rd.........

Eh, on 4th and 9 on Titan's last TD drive, the snap was a half second after play clock ticked to zero. Calls usually even out. Not always though per Packers/Lions commentary above.

We went and saw the poor guy on Friday. He was in better spirits and actually ate that morning, but was really happy to see us. He so wanted to come home. I was heartbroken for the little guy for what had to be done. Really gruesome, honestly. But, they say he'll heal just fine with some TLC and wound care.
It's a blessing they offered to keep him while we move. That was incredibly helpful.

I don't know if anyone else has seen/noticed this, but here in TX there are TV ads running that are blatant voter intimidation/threats. The ads have actors (activists) stating that voter rolls are a matter of public record, and they know if you've voted or not, and urge you to get out to vote to support "our people." (All the people in the ad are black.)
We need an AI version. The scene, a typical middle-class living room with the shades closed. Several jihadis are stomping around the room in the background terrorizing the family. The camera pans to a scared wimpy looking Millennial guy sitting at a table panicking at the mail-in ballot before him as a jihadi racks a shotgun aims it at the guy's head and demands he sign in it. In the background you see and hear people being beaten with pipes screaming, all the while you hear distinctly Arabic men shouting.
The scene fades to black with the words "We know who you are" then "Vote Appropriately" then "Or Else" closing with a female scream and then a shotgun blast.
That is a truly inspiring GOTV message.
