"banks largely did not have quantifiable standards for determining the reputational risk of maintaining relationships with specific customers"
That's a big load of steaming hot chocolate dogshit. The "reputational risk" was always a made-up excuse for naked partisan discrimination for political views. I don't think "reputational risk" exists as a basis to refuse a customer. Every bank that did this should have been prosecuted. Sure, a bank can refuse to do business with criminals, cartels, terrorists, drug dealers, methodists, and known money-laundering actors. But that requires some prior conviction of a crime, or designation on a terror list, or some very hard evidence of criminality. A bank can't debank Charlie Kirk because they don't like his views on abortion. But that's basically exactly what the banks did. Interesting side note. From X
Natalie Winters @nataliegwinters 🚨 NEW: Inside the Neocons’ Secret Plan to Take the Republican Party Back. A Republican organizing network backed by liberal foundation money held private meetings where participants discussed how to “retake the local party apparatus.” A former Soros foundation grantmaker helped advise the effort. The target was local Republican organizations. Their own report records one participant’s assessment that parties were: “strong enough to still matter, but weak enough to be taken over.” Participants in Kansas and Kentucky had already begun developing plans to rebuild local parties. Johns Hopkins’ SNF Agora Institute and the R Street Institute organized the meetings: private dinners followed by full-day, off-the-record sessions. Rules prevented participants’ statements from being attributed to them individually. Johns Hopkins named Brad Raffensperger among the project’s architects. The funding includes: • $1.85 MILLION from Hewlett for the Civic Right project. • $500,000 from Carnegie for the Conservative Agenda for Democracy program. The SPLC is the physical embodiment of the argument against "hate speech" and "hate crime" laws: The problem is not the law itself, but instead who gets to define what counts as "hate."

Without seeing you do them, it’s hard for me to say anything specifically, but in general: make sure your hand is under your shoulder and you are not collapsing down, 2. You are targeting your obliques most strongly, so that is what you need to be dialed into to hold you up, think rainbow arch into the obliques. 3. You don’t need to hold a side plank with feet stacked or floated for a long time, but to get there, start in your high plank with feet wide, open up to the side plank with feet staggered. If you are still struggling, bend and plant the top foot behind the bottom leg, then move to staggered, then move to stacked, then to floating. Once you are good there, add in the other stuff that make it spicier with strength tubes, weights, spinal twists, etc etc. If it wasn’t you, well…here is how you do a side plank. lol. The report also documented damage to specific industries that were affected heavily by debanking.
___________________________ I think there's more coming on this as it relates to the energy industries. Any way you slice it, it's discrimination based on political views. A significant number of banks joined these "Net Zero" alliances that resulted in refusing loans (and even accounts) to various (very profitable) energy companies. THIS was a direct violation of their fiduciary duties to their investors. And, arguably, you could say that the discrimination on "climate change" policy was ALSO discrimination based on political views. The Premier of Canada was instrumental in these discriminatory practices. And, he (and those banks) bailed quickly when he was elected. Posted by: Orson at October 20, 2026 02:59 PM (dIske) 143

Posted by: Elric The Blade at October 20, 2026 02:30 PM (iFTx/) I think you are mistaken about what the law is. I believe it is legal for a bank to decide it doesn't want to do business with NAMBLA, for example. Assuming for the moment that NAMBLA isn't actually violating any laws, and only acts as a lobbying group for those that want to make pedo sex legal, a bank can decide that they are just too disgusting to do business with. They don't get to refuse to do business with people based on race, religion, etc. Maybe the law should be changed to include political views, but that's where we are now. I think you are mistaken about what the law is. One of the things the left has been successful at is taking normal rightleaning beliefs, hell normal 2000s era leftwing beliefs, and argue they are so far right wing as to be the same as NAMBLA while at the same time arguing hating on NAMBLA is homophobia. False Claims Act is even more generous.
Successful whistleblowers are entitled to 15% to 30% of the government’s recovery, depending on their involvement and whether the government intervenes. The Act also provides anti-retaliation protections for employees who face discharge, demotion, or harassment for reporting fraud. Common areas of FCA enforcement include healthcare fraud (Medicare/Medicaid), defense contracting, and government procurement. Posted by: whig at October 20, 2026 03:11 PM (E4rtv) 189

But that paradigm of trying to shift the model of how people look at American politics recently has always been a stalking horse for getting people to vote Democrat. It's never about telling Democrats to vote Republican because they have a bunch of weird connections to, say, a convicted pedophile who died 7 years ago. It's always just "Republicans need to give up that whole partisanship thing and become Democrats." 237 1% commission... on fraud.
But... is it tax free/deferred? Because the IRS might be licking it's chops. Posted by: Martini Farmer So what. Basically free money. I suspect one could do quite well using AI to detect government fraud and report it getting a steady income. If you do it under the False Claims Act which takes a bit more work, you can get 15-30 percent of the validated fraud amount. Once knew an attorney who did nothing other than sue governments that violated bond issue legal requirements. Would get regular hits because the assholes in local government could not be bothered to follow the rules. Posted by: whig at October 20, 2026 03:25 PM (E4rtv) 249
