Report: Major Banks (Those Most Dependant on Government Goodwill) Shut Down MAGA, Pro-Life, Christian, and Other Conservative Accounts to Appeal to Biden's Authoritarian Enforcers

Miranda Divine:

Major banks closed accounts and refused credit to MAGA merchants, pro-life causes, religious groups, conservative organizations and sectors disfavored by the Biden administration, such as firearms, oil and gas, and private prisons, a bombshell report from the federal banking regulator has found.

The Debanking Review by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) investigated 100,000 complaints and scrutinized 50,000 internal bank records to reveal how customers were "debanked" based purely on their political, social, or religious beliefs.

JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citibank, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, Capital One, PNC, TD Bank, and BMO Bank were found to have discriminated against American consumers, citing "reputation risk" as a reason to deny service between 2020 and 2025.

Negative press, protests, criticism from advocacy groups such as the Southern Poverty Law Center, and reprisals from regulators or politicians were cited as the reputation risks most feared by the banks.

The 47-page OCC report, "Guaranteeing Fair Banking for All Americans," released Wednesday, found that the nation's largest banks targeted Christian organizations over abortion, LGBTQ issues, and traditional family values.

The banks also restricted financing for "disfavored" industries such as firearms makers and retailers, Arctic oil and gas, coal, detention facilities, tobacco and e-cigarettes.

Among the examples in the report is JPMorgan Chase's payment operation, WePay, closing the account of a merchant that sold merchandise promoting President Trump and the Make America Great Again (MAGA) brand, claiming it "promote[d] hate, violence, or racial intolerance."

The bank's internal screening system regularly flagged terms such as "MAGA," "Make America Great," and "America First" that appeared in merchants' customer profiles, websites, and transaction information. Several of the terms used to find "violations" were added after the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

So Trump is allowed to force banks to close the accounts of all liberals who make excuses for antifa and Hamas terrorists, right?

Because that's what I see right here.

8 It's also the same reason so many Banks made home loans to poor-risk folks: the Gov't told them to either do that, or face extra "scrutiny"...this all leading to the the failure of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and the entire bundling of bad loans into securities that lead to the 2007 crash.

_________

More than just activity tied to China. Also Russia and "south of the border" activity. Although they didn't say it, my take is this involved a lot of illegal alien activity and similar leftwing efforts.

Basically, BoA was looking the other way as massive amounts of money went back and forth with China, Russia, and almost certainly the Mexican cartels.

You can be fairly sure no MAGA operatives were involved in any of this.

36 You do realize that this "de-banking" push was part of the overall plan to MAKE OPPOSITION TO THE SOCIALIST AGENDA ILLEGAL, right?

You think it's an outlier that Germany is trying to ban from existence its most popular political party (the AfD), and that France has tried to ban its most popular political party (RN) as well, both for the "crime" of simply having political opinions that differ from the socialist super-government? They want to do the same thing here -- make being "conservative" impossible, illegal, a crime.

I've been seeing various people going on college campuses and asking the students if they like socialism. If they say they do the interviewer asks them to explain what socialism is. The answers usually start with something like "everyone gets what they need" and quickly when asked follow up questions of how this specifically works ends up with the student admitting they have no idea what socialism is.

Nobody has ever cared about where the criminals stored the cash. Whether they funneled it through Wells Fargo or USBank doesn't matter to anyone - not regulators, not their own executives, not their so-called "relationship managers," not their consumers, and nobody in the general news-reading public.

There is no reputation-management to be done. Nobody figured these people were honest in the first place.

The idea that an actual, tax-paying, licensed business would need to be debanked in order to preserve a bank's """reputation""" is risible.

We already know these banks will issue a home loan to Big Daddy Slim to use for a trap house, no questions asked.

I keep coming back to how a political party (Democrats) is able to gin up the narrative of "grassroots funding support" when the grassroots portion of their political constituency is made of basement dwelling, non-working, destitute debt holders....and yet they have money to sent to the Democrat party?

Then we see ActBlu thriving and breaking all their previous quarterly records. It's an open secret that these Leftist individuals aren't providing those funds. It's likely disassembled bulk payments from overseas. But, you're not going to get away with that, and have the documented required paperwork to back it up unless a bank is playing along.

Tip of the iceberg, this is.

Tulips? You can try credit unions. Many CU have become as big and avaricious as the big banks, but some of the smaller ones still cater to normal people and are pretty good. You have to qualify for membership, though.

If the 3.3M figure is correct that's about 1/9th of the total.

154 Dealing with JP Morgan was especially unpleasant when handling my Dad's trust after he died.

Among other things, after I liquidated his investments and distributed all of the cash, my older brother came back and claimed I didn't have to do so, that I could have distributed the (shitty) investments intact to him. This was not true and against my Dad's wishes, but the reps at JP Morgan were pissed at me and convinced my brother that he had lost out on investment returns.

After that I told my brother to read a fucking book about investing.

1/11, I think.

But it took 60 years to get that 40 million from the Kennedy immigration bill in the 1960s.

Nearly 10% of the problem fixed in 19 months is impressive.

🤮 KAMALA HARRIS: BIDEN ADMINISTRATION SHOULD HAVE ACTED “SOONER AND MORE FORCEFULLY” AGAINST ISRAEL

Speaking in Seoul, former Vice President Kamala Harris criticized both the Trump administration and her own Biden-Harris administration over Israel’s war in Gaza.

“Most recently, the failure to use our leverage to curtail the Israeli government's horrific conduct in the war in Gaza, both under the current administration, which offers Netanyahu a blank check, and our administration before, where we should have acted sooner and more forcefully.”

Harris said the United States has a “moral obligation to human rights and international law” and should use its leverage over allies accordingly.

You'll never find a less religious person than me.

Yet, when I point out all the ways that civilizations - including this one - use government to curtail and coerce the public against their will ?

Most of the same folks that love religion really hate to see the warnings in person. Its not like the Bible doesn't point out every fucking way every government subjugates it's people.

Limiting the ability to buy or sell ? That's nothing new. That's as old as time.

Now lets talk about the "Blue Eagle" and so on and so forth.

There's some dispute in the thread because that number includes voluntary deportation (an agreement with USCIS and ICE) and self deportation, which is basically just leaving with no fuss.

I see no issue with including those, it is far better that people choose to make the process easy on themselves, and creating the climate where that becomes the norm is what is happening.

The claim about Obama deporting anyone is a massive fraud, and always has been. Under Obama, it was claimed that anyone who came to the border but was denied entry for any reason was a deportation, even though all falling under this category had never set food in this country. It was just a number game to give the media something to say and make them look like they were doing something.

when they absolutely were not.

181 And we can not lose sight of the fact that this de-banking program was going to be rolled out against everyone.

China's Social Credit system would be mild.

Think about this:
If your bank closed your account and no bank would allow you to open an account, could you survive?

Sure, technically you could. But think about the time and expense--every single day--it will impose on you.
To grind you to heel.
